| 1.00 | Laying, fitting and installation of 600mm dia MS pipe-24 meter of Tawi Feeder Channel in Nikki by way of loading the MS pipes from the divisional store of MICD Jammu(provided by the department) with the help of Crane, manual labour, tools & tackles in the mechanical transport vehicle. Carriage and Shifting of the pipes from store to Nikki Tawi near Syphon and unloading the pipes with the help of crane/hydra and manual labour. Shifting of DG set, welding set, gas cutter and allied material, tool and tackles to the site from the workshop. Cutting the already laid main discharge MS tube 750mm dia leading downstream from syphon channel at appropriate point approximately 1.5m in length, then providing and fabrication of conduit/box for distribution of main discharge into two parallel tubes by way loading the MS sheets(12mm thick) of suitable size to site for fabrication of box/conduit of size (1.5m x1.5m x3m) for discharge in parallel tubes by cutting the sheets with gas cutter and allied tools at site as per site requirements, making the box/conduit made of MS sheets leak proof by using quality welding electrodes, providing continuity from the main tube to distribution conduit made of MS Sheets by way of preparing corresponding hole for 750mm dia main discharge tube on one side(preferably (3m x1.5m)side). Similarly preparing the opposite side of the distribution conduit for continuity of the discharge through two parallel tubes viz 750mm dia(already laid) and 600mm dia(to be laid) and making the leakproof circumferential welding along both the openings (i.e 750mm dia and 600mm dia). clearing the boulders and damaged channels along the line of alignment of laying of 600mm dia MS pipes by using JCB, labor and tools, making the bed using crushed stones along the alignment of pipes. Etching and preparing each pipe by beveling the ends for creation of V grooves for proper alignment and welding using machine/ tools at site. Laying of the 600mm dia(24m) pipes/tubes along the alignment by using hydra/crane, tool tackles and skilled manual labors. Making the provision along the alignment for 1 no. bend as per site conditions. Laying of pipe includes circumferential welding of pipes with IS marked MS welding rods of the high quality and reliability to fill the V- groove between the pipes. Welding to be done by skilled workmen, handling of pipes with proper tools & tackles like tripod stands, chain pulley blocks or crane for holding of pipes during welding fill the gap between the two sections of piping by maintaining a steady arc length and travel speed to avoid burn-through or incomplete penetration and then applying a hot pass to fuse the root weld with both groove faces. Make multiple fill passes to build up the weld until it is almost at the level of the pipe surface. Apply the final cap pass to complete the weld, ensuring it is smooth and meets the required profile and afterwards, extra welded material is chipped off and cavities are to be filled. Visually inspecting the weld for any defects such as porosity, cracks, or lack of fusion and re-welding the defects if any. Liquid penetration test (NDT) of the joints should be done and defects if any should be rectified. Testing of the pipe line to check for any leakage after installation. The laying of the pipe may involve fabrication of 2 no. bend as per site conditions. Making the support for the overall length of pipe involving excavation and earth work for preparing the bed for laying of the pipe the job also involves creation of RCC saddle block for supporting downstream end of the 600mm dia pipe.
Complete job include cost of material, transportation charges hire charges of oxy-acetylene gas cutting equipment, DG welding set & hydraulic crane, cost of POL's for DG welding set. welding electrodes, hire & carriage charges for D.G welding set & Oxy acetylene gas equipment, tools and tackles required for the execution of job at site, labour charges for skilled and semi-skilled labour and complete testing of Pipe for any leakage (Complete job) | 1 | 01 job | 9,85,000 ₹9.8 L | 12,15,000 ₹12.2 L | 10,14,300 ₹10.1 L |
