M&L Water proofing treatment of existing roofs as per details given below after complete removal of existing water proofing treatment and expose of top surface of RCC slab of any thickness, any type by stripping out old tar felt over roofs, parapets, chimney stacks etc laid horizontally or vertically including taking out layer of cement plaster etc and cleaning the surface with water and using wire brush including removing debris to outside the MOD land complete all as specified and as directed :-

(a) Dismantling existing cement concrete/ roof tiles on roof including removing debris to outside MOD land as directed.

(b) Bring upto the slope by providing PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate of average thickness of 50 mm.

(c) Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 on concrete roof surfaces and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing water proofing compound as per manufacturer’s instructions.

(d) Surface should be free from any loose paint, dust or grease. Remove all existing bitumen coatings completely by using intense wire brushing, high speed water jet & vacuum cleaner for thorough cleaning of the surface to avoid ‘Peeling off’ problems.

(e) All cracks at corner joints, channels and parapets should be properly treated. For filling cracks upto 3mm crack seal material of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical to be used. Bigger cracks, damaged portions & hollow areas must be repaired with polymer modified cement mortar.

(f) Apply a coat of self priming smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical with 33% dilution with water using brush/roller on newly plastered surface after curing as per IS-456 and allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours (dilution & forced coverage requirement strictly as per manufacturer’s instructions).

(g) After the primed surface has dried, apply first coat of water proofing smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical using brush/roller on the same primed surface & allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours.

(h) Prepare for apply 2nd coat of water proofing smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical using brush/roller on the same surface. The temp to be maintained 25 to 35° C through out the all above application work.

(j) In case of severe dampness an additional coat of damp proof materials to be applied.

Note for item No 02 to 10 :- (i) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the following manufacturers only. MOU to be submitted before commencement of work. Make : M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical

(ii) A performance guarantee certificate for 10 years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified and an amount @ 5% of total value of WPT shall be retained from the contractor on amount of guarentee money against WPT for 10 years

(iii) The unit quoted rate is deemed to include taking down of water pipeline, tanks, wires (etc) found on roof and refix at the original position after complete treatment of roof.

(iv) The unit quoted rate shall be inclusive of material, all labours, tools and plants including scaffolding required for working upto approx 7.5 mtr height from natural ground level.

(v) The unit rate quoted for item is deemed to include for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land.

(vi) Adoption of necessary safety arrangement like safety belts, ropes, helmets, netting etc. which are required for safety of working labour at height exceeding 3 to 25 mtr height shall be mandatary and deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

Use and waste of form work fair finished surfaces to sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, lintels, Chajjas, cantilevers etc all as specified and directed.

M&L for Steel reinforcement TMT bars 10mm dia and over cut to length and bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hoping for columns, hooking end and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips incl removal of old reinforcement all as specified and directed.

M&L for Steel reinforcement TMT bars 6mm dia to 8mm dia cut to length and bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hoping for columns, hooking end and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips incl removal of old reinforcement all as specified and directed.

M&L for Reinforced Cement Concrete (Nominal Mix) 1:1½:3 Type A1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in Slab/beam/columns supported on walls, beams and column in floors, balconies etc complete including demolition of reinforced cement concrete and finishing the surface with one coat of white wash all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling/ taking down old existing unserviceable cement plaster, loose/ unsound weaken cement concrete of any description and in any position from existing external / internal surface of RCC roof/ slab/ beams/ columns/ RCC facias for an average depth of 25mm (Approx height 7.5m from natural ground level) with power driven pneumatic flat/pointed chisel and removing the honeycombed area including all the corners and making a neat profile of the cavities, roughen the smooth surface , scrapping out/removing corrosion all loose/scale/rust etc form the visible reinforcement by applying rust remover such as Rust Off 100 of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermax Limited (as approved by GE) and cleaning the steel reinforcement properly all as per manufacture's and instructions all as specified and directed and comprising of the following instructions :-

(a) Providing cement based angle fillet for 75mm X 75mm admixed with Sikacim, integral waterproofing liquid M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, (as approved by GE) @ 0.2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer’s instructions over a coat of acrylic emulsion bonding agent such as per as Sika Latex in 1:1:3 ratio of Make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/S Fosrox chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) having specific gravity of 1.02 or as per manufacturer’s instructions with necessary surface preparation such as creating mechanical key like roughing the surface by scrabbing, grit blasting and cleaning the existing surface using high pressure water jet machine having pressure upto 500 bar pressure to remove the dirt, dust, loose particles , wax, efforencene and other contaminations from the surface of RCC columns/ beams/ slabs/ facia/ any brick/ stone surfaces etc all as manufactures and all as specified and directed.

(b) Providing and applying FRIAZINC R, corrosion inhabiliting Active Zinc rich primer of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) along the exposed reinforcement surface property and allowed to dry.

(c) Providing and applying Hibond, Epoxy based Thixotropic bonding adhesive of Make of M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, ( as approved by GE) over the prepared concrete surface to get a good bonding between existing concrete surface and providing Sika Rep Microcrete 4 Fiber reinforced cementitious repair micro concrete of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd ( as approved by GE) over Epoxy based bonding agent applied area before 6 Hrs etc including providing necessary proportions , bracing and runners to relieve the member from the load coming on it including scaffolding leak proof shuttering with working platform as required and as per design and pattern complete including preparing the surface to match with the existing surface all as specified and directed.

(d) Note : The work under (Item No. 21 to Item No. 24 of BOQ) shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the any following manufacturer only. MOU to be submitted before commencement of work. M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s STP Limited, M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited,M/s Thermax Limited

(i) A performance guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified.

(ii) The unit rate quoted for item No. 21 to 24 of BOQ is deemed to be included for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs.

M&L Repair to ends of chajjas/ parapets by removing old concrete, loose material & cleaning of the reinforcement and finishing the surface with rich cement mortar 1:3 , finished fair & even and making good (not exc 3Sqm) with existing finishes complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Rate quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to inclusive of double steel scaffolding.

M&L for cement plaster rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:6 on fair faces of brickwork or concrete surface as on wall finished even and smooth with thin layer and taking down old cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete walls etc., hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L for cement plaster rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick/concrete surfaces with two coats i.e. (10mm thick backing coat in CM 1:6 and 5mm thick finishing coat in CM 1:4) and mixed with liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions, finished even and smooth without using extra cement (WPC to be measured and paid separately) and Taking down old cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete walls etc., hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L for cement plaster rendering 5mm thick in CM 1:3 on fair faces of brickwork or concrete surface as on ceiling finished even and smooth with thin layer and taking down cement plaster on ceilings surface etc., hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises complete all as per specified and directed.

Supply only Liquid water proofing compound of approved make (ISI marked) all as specified and directed.

M&L preparation of newly plastered surfaces wall/ ceiling and applying three coats of white washing on ceiling/ walls surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L applying two coat of cement based paint over a coat of primer, including preparation of newly plastered wall surfaces of any description, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls applying plaster of paris putty of 1 mm thickness over plastered surface to prepare the surface even and smooth and applying two finishing coat of oil bound distemper over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing Anodized aluminium size 605 x 605 mm snap grid frame work for false ceiling as per manufacturer instructions, with hangers 6 mm dia. G.I. (up to 1200mm length) adjusting level fixed to roof slabs by means of ceiling cleats made out of G.I. flat 40 x 3 mm size 60mm long and expansion hold fasteners 12.5mm dia. 40mm long and 6mm thick Non asbestos fibre cement building boards, fixed to sheet suitably placed in false ceiling grid made of aluminium/G.I./ M.S.as per specification and drawing and including dismantling old unservicable wall and celing board & including frame with of any type and description, complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying of 25mm outer dia CPVC pipes SDR 11 & Plain CPVC SDR 11 fittings on walls/ceiling or laying in floors complete all as specified and taking out steel/plastic/cpvc water tubing and connections 15 mm/20mm/25mm dia .

Supplying and fixing in repairs of 25mm outer dia Female Brass Threaded Adaptor (FTA/ FBTA CPVC complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing in repairs 25mm outer dia CPVC brass elbow all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) frame work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions (Fixed portions) with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS:1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing/ panelling, C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws,included rubber beading all complete as per architectural drawings and as directed.

S & F in repair of 18/19 mm thick ,water proofing plywood , fixed to Cupboard work in any position with nails including removal of old boards complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Auto closing hinges of size of approved pattern and make suitable for cupboard including taking down the existing one complete all as specified and as directed.
