SECTION-I: (Note for SI No. 1.00 to 3.00 :- The rate quoted shall not be less than minimum wages as notified by Government of India/State Government/Local body whichever is higher . In case the rates quoted are less than the minimum wages as notified by the Government of India/State Government/Local body whichever is higher , his tender will be treated as NON BONAFIDE and will not be considered for acceptance. In such case, the lowest tender shall be determined by the lowest amount amongst valid / bonofied bids only) Outsourcing services for the installation at KLP filtration plant Bikaner with 03 FGM in a shift i.e. (0600 Hrs to 1400 hrs) and 02 FGM in a shift . (1400 Hrs to 2200 hrs) and 01 FGM in a shift (2200 Hrs to 0600 hrs) of the 8 hrs for three shifts round the clock all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge :- Notes for srl item No. 1:- (i) The DG set shall be operated only in case of failure of electricity. (ii) DHPP & Engine Oil will be issued by the dept and transportation shall be provided by contractor for DG Set only. (iii) Timing of shifts shall be as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (iv) General cleaning of pump house bldgs, Sub Stn bldgs, DG set rooms with cleaning of plant, machinery, LT panels etc installed in the buildings. (v) Cost of perishables & petty items such as gland dori, oiling/greasing to moving parts of pumps and motors, generators, PVC insulation tapes wherever required and cost of broom sticks, cotton waste dhoties etc for cleaning of machinery, LT panels, pumps, DG sets etc for installations. (vi) Cost of log sheets for pumping sets, DG sets, filter plants, chloronome plants etc for daily running records in booklet form for a calendar month complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and as per sample supplied herein after in the CA. (vii) The job for operation of low lift pump house also included :- (a) Manning & operation of water treatment plant of capacity 2.10 lakh gallons per hours at KLP by regulating the valves/channels/gates for incoming water to flash mixer, clarifloculators, flow channels, filter beds & regulating the flow of clear water upto clear water reservoir. (b) Regulating the alum dose by operating alum dosing pumps upto flash mixers. (c) Operation & regulating chloronome plant gravity feed type or the plant of hypo chloride or mixing the bleaching powder by dissolving in CWR to obtain the required PPM in filtered water. The necessary T & P . testing kit for chlorine testing upto 2 PPM & the required chemicals reagents etc shall be arranged & procured by the contractor. The cost shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item.. (d) Operating the motors for flash mixers, clarifloculators, running the walkway bridges with rotating the churners for proper floculations. (e) Filling the back wash O/H tank by operating the pumps, installed in filter house, backwashing the filter beds as and when required and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(f) Operation sludge pump house for dewatering the sludge tank. (g) The operator shall regularly/daily check the quality of water in the lab located in filter plant room and will record the results in a separate properly bound register . (h) The contractor shall maintain a register separately for daily consumption of alum, chlorine gas/bleaching powder. (j) The contractor will arrange electrician if required and cost is deemed to be included in the rate quoted under this item.

Outsourcing of installation mentioned at para 1 (a) to (k) with 06 helper every day on 24 hrs in a shift of 8 hours for 03 helper ( 0600 to 1400 hrs), 02 helper ( 1400 to 2200 hrs) 01 helper ( 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs) in three shifts round the clock and operating the valves of pumping sets at filteration plant, lower lift pump house, clear water sump & houses at KLP before starting and before shutting down the pump, general cleaning of all installed machines and pump house bldgs and complete filtration plant and surrounding area of filtration plant & raw water reservoirs all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes for item No.2 :- (i) The helper so deployed by contractor shall be responsible for cleaning, brooming, cutting/uprooting of bushes, shrubs, plants around the pump house water reservoirs, filter plant, earth embankment to raw water reservoirs and cutting the same and throwing away and to keep neat & clear building sub stn bldg, raw water reservoirs, filter plants earth embankment as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) The helper shall take out the floating materials such as organics, vegetation, algac from the raw water reservoir at KLP area so as to Keep inlet channel & brimlines of raw water reservoirs clear all the time for this purpose he shall make the arrangements for catching/pulling the floating materials manually with suitable length of bamboo arrangements from the outside raw water reservoirs safely. No extra amount shall be claimed/Paid to contractor on this account. (iii) The helper shall also provide all type of help/assistance to operators required while operation/maintenance during the shift. (iv) Contractor will provide the boats with operator and safety equipments for cleaning of algae including necessary equipments

Outsourcing of Raw water pumping set of capacity 150 HP with one FGM and one Valve man/helper in a shift of 8 hours for three shifts round the clock for pumping at Beechwal pump house No. 1 & 2 at Beechwal all as per directed by Engr - in - Charge. Notes:- Timing of shifts shall be as directed by Engr -in Charge (ii) General cleaning of pump house bldgs, Sub bldgs, plants machinery, LT panels etc installed in the buildings (iii) cost of perishable & petty items such as a gland dori, oiling/greasing to moving parts of pump and motors, PVC insulation tapes wherever required and cost of broom sticks, cotten waste, dhoties etc for cleaning of machinery, LT panels, pumps, DG sets etc for installations. No extra amount shall be claimed /paid to contractor on this account.

SECTION-II : Dismantling from foundation base frame by disconnecting, suction/delivery lines & coupling, opening and re-assembling after repairs & welding as required of centrifugal pump set 150 HP capacity model 6 UP4 make Kirloskar and replacement of worn out spare parts as mentioned under respective item here in after. Notes :- (i) Replacement of petty/minor items other than specified in Sch ‘A’ such as shaft seal/ keys/seals/ sleeves studs and other minor repairs as ordered by Engr-in-Charge shall be deemed to be included under this item. (ii) The item/spare parts supplied shall be of make and type as per original make and as per type of the pumps of respective items. (iii) Spare parts replaced shall be measured & paid for under respective item Separately as “ supply only” here in after this schedule

Contractor shall report attend and remove the motor with in 48 hrs of repairing & shall reinstall the motor after repair in its original location within 06 days from taking out motor from installation failing which panel recovery @ 1000/- per motor per day shall be made from the contractor payment. (ii) Cost of minor repairs /replacement such as fan guard, terminal plate, terminal box, fan etc as directed by Engineer-in-Charge are also included in unit rate of this item. (iii) Make of winding wire shall be Chetak/Devidayal and winding wire shall be conforming to IS and size/gauge of wire shall be as per existing winding wire. (iv) Cost of insulating material viz varnish, packing paper, cotton tape etc are deemed to be included in the rate quoted by contractor for this item. (v) Rate quoted by contractor shall be deemed to include opening of existing electric motor complete and taking out burnt coils from the slots of stator, cleaning of stator slots and rewinding with the same gauge of solid copper conductor ( winding wire) as the previous burnt winding , insulating paper, wooden strips in slots and varnishing the coils, binding with strong threads and reassembling the motor after rewinding. (vi) Contractor shall be taken proper gate pass for repair of motor/pump in out side, civil workshop and maintain record resigter after repair and refixing in existing place of motor/pumping set also inform to concern authority with date. (vii) All motors are issue to contractor undergate pass by AGE E/M office.
