| 1Providing and applying terrace roof waterproofing treatment using acrylic elastomeric waterproof coating system, comprising thorough cleaning of the roof surface by pressure washing to remove dust, dirt, loose particles, algae, fungus and other contaminants, preparation of the surface, repair of cracks, joints, parapet-wall junctions, rainwater outlets, pipe penetrations and damaged or hollow screed areas. The damaged screed shall be removed and repaired with Polymer Modified Mortar (PMM) using SBR-based polymer bonding coat and cement mortar in the ration of (1:1) as per manufacturer's specifications. Cracks wider than 0.5 mm shall be cut in V-groove shape and filled with approved polyurethane sealant, followed by reinforcement with 45 GSM glass fibre mesh embedded in waterproof coating. Ponding areas and undulations shall be corrected by re-profiling with Polymer Modified Mortar to provide proper slope towards rainwater outlets. | |||||
| 1.1 | The waterproofing system shall consist of one self-priming coat of elastomeric waterproofing coating of acrylate PU hybrid emulsion diluted with water in the ratio of 2:1 at the rate of 10-11 sqm./ltr followed by two or three undiluted coats, as applicable, applied at the specified coverage rate and reinforced with 45 GSM glass fibre mesh where required, including additional coats at critical locations such as corners, joints, outlets and repaired leakage-prone areas. The coating shall be applied to achieve the specified dry film thickness and shall be allowed to cure for a minimum period of seven days. The work shall be carried out complete in all respects, including labour, materials, tools and plants, scaffolding, curing, transportation, wastage and all incidental works, strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. | 644.9 | Sqm | 727.5 | ₹4,69,164.75 |
