SHEAR WALL 50M LENGTH, 2 FLOORS
Rate includes Labour, diesel, material and machinery transportation.
Surface Preparation: Chipping and Sandblasting To ensure proper bonding and surface integrity for subsequent treatments, the ACC roof slab will undergo a two-step preparation process: chipping and sandblasting. Chipping: The surface of the roof slab will be carefully chipped to remove any loose, damaged, or weak material. This will expose a clean, solid substrate, ensuring that the surface is free of contaminants that could compromise the effectiveness of the next stage of preparation. Sandblasting: Following the chipping process, sandblasting will be conducted to to remove the rust from the TMT bars completely.. High-pressure abrasive material will be used to remove any remaining dust, debris, or contaminants, and to create a uniform, roughened surface profile. This will improve adhesion for any coatings, paints, or sealing systems to be applied afterward.
Anticorrosive treatment on TMT Bar: Bituminous paint on TMT Bars Once the surface of the TMT bars is thoroughly cleaned and dry, a coat of bituminous paint will be applied. This bituminous paint is highly effective in creating a waterproof, protective barrier that guards against corrosion, rust, and other environmental factors. Its excellent adhesion to metal surfaces ensures long-term protection, enhancing the durability and extending the service life of the TMT bars.
Bonding Agent :Old concrete to new concrete Nitobond SBR make Fosroc will be used as a bonding agent and additive to ensure a strong and durable bond between the old concrete to new concrete. The Nitobond SBR will be mixed with neat cement in 1:2 to improve its adhesion, flexibility, and water resistance, providing a high-performance solution for repairs and surface treatments. This combination will enhance the structural integrity and longevity of the repair, ensuring optimal performance in various environmental conditions.
Supply and installation of TMT reinforcement bars for column strengthening with rebarring, as per the structural design and drawings.Rebarring with Fischer Chemical: Fischer EP585 or V360 tmt bar. This includes drilling holes at 10d depth, cleaning the hole with high air preasure blower to remove dust or any loose material and grouting the rebar to ensure an effective bond and provide the required structural strengthening as per the specifications.
Guniting Treatment for Structural Repair Guniting shear walls with a thickness of 4 inch using M30-grade concrete for structural restoration. The guniting treatment will ensure enhanced structural integrity, load-bearing capacity, and long-term durability, with the welded mesh providing additional reinforcement to prevent cracking and ensure effective bonding
Dismantling and removal of rebound wastage generated from shotcrete operations, along with other associated waste materials. All materials, including excess shotcrete, debris, and other items related to the work, will be removed from the site and properly disposed of at approved disposal sites. The area will be left clean and free from any waste after the removal process, ensuring compliance with site safety and cleanliness standards
Supply and installation of prop jacks to provide temporary support for beams and slabs during retrofitting activities.Prop jacks will be strategically positioned to ensure proper load distribution and structural stability while work is being performed. The prop jacks will be adjustable to accommodate varying load requirements and will be securely anchored to prevent any displacement or instability during the process. The installation of the prop jacks will ensure the safety of workers and the integrity of the structure while beams and slabs are being repaired, modified, or reinstated.
Supply and installation of scaffolding to provide safe access at required heights, ensuring stability and ease of movement during the execution of tasks. The scaffold will be designed to support the tools, materials, and workers necessary for chipping, guniting, and bond coating processes, in compliance with safety standards
COLUMN 3 NOS, 2 FLOOR
Rate includes Labour, diesel, material and machinery transportation.
Surface Preparation: Chipping and Sandblasting To ensure proper bonding and surface integrity for subsequent treatments, the RCC Columns will undergo a two-step preparation process: chipping and sandblasting. Cutting of Cracks and Filling with Epoxy PU Grouts whereas required Cutting and preparation of cracks in V shape with grinder machine in the concrete structure to create a clean, stable surface for grout application. Filling the prepared cracks with epoxy PU grouts, ensuring complete penetration and bonding to the crack surfaces for effective sealing and repair. The epoxy PU grout will be applied in accordance with manufacturer instructions to ensure proper curing, adhesion, and long-term durability. The treatment will restore the structural integrity of the concrete and prevent further damage from water ingress or movement.
Guniting will be performed using high preasure machine ensuring uniform application of concrete material over the column surface at a consistent 75mm thickness. The guniting shall be applied in layers (if required) to ensure uniform compaction and good bonding. Each layer must be cured adequately before applying the next. The guniting mix shall have the required workability, and the thickness of the applied layer shall be maintained at 75mm, ensuring full coverage of the reinforcement bars. After application, the guniting surface shall be finished to a smooth and even surface, free from honeycombs, voids, or surface defects. The column shall be cured properly for a minimum of 7 days to ensure adequate hydration and strength development of the guniting layer.
Plastering the column for smooth finish.Prior to plastering, ensure the guniting surface is free from loose material, dirt, oil, or any substances that could prevent proper adhesion. The guniting surface should be lightly moistened if required to prevent rapid absorption of water from the plaster mix.Apply a bonding agent over the guniting surface to ensure proper adhesion of the plaster. The work involves the application of plaster on the guniting layer to smoothen out any endulations, achieve a uniform surface, and maintain the sharpness and alignment of the column edges as per the structural drawings. The plastering shall be applied over the guniting surface to provide a smooth, even finish suitable for aesthetic and protective purposes.
