BOQ (REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF MCBS, DBS, GEYSERS ALONGWITH ALLIED E/M WORKS AT AF STN SURATGARH )

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5m wide and and not exc. 1.5m depth wide in soft/loose soil for laying electric cables/pipes etc including getting out excavated earth and trimming the sides and bottoms of trenches, complete all as specificed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm in soil, complete all as specificed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level not ex. 1.5m above the starting point , complete all as specificed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Sand cushioning to cables with a layer of sand 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm depth (punned down to 10 cm depth after laying and stretching of cable), complete all as specificed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Punned thickness (over all 18 cm) shall be measured & paid.

Brick of common burnt clay, sub class 'B' old size laid flat and dry on cables as in cable protection in trenches over cables perpendicular to direction of cables abutting each other, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Galvanised iron steel tubes, ISI marked light grade of size 40mm bore for cable protection along the poles under road under drains including taking down of old unserviceble pipe, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make: Jindal / TATA / Surya

Boring holes horizontally under road without damaging the surface of road upto one metre below the road surface with the help of GI tubing not exc 80mm bore for passing of UG cable, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : GI pipe shall be measured and paid seperately.

Taking out old unserviceable LT cable from trenches /Wall/ floor etc of size 6 Sqmm to 16 Sqmm 2/3.5/4 core, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (Heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade (earthed) cross sectional area 6 Sqmm 2 core, laid in trenches, through pipe in road crossing, ducts, fixed along poles, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (Heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade (earthed) cross sectional area 16 Sqmm 4 core, laid in trenches, through pipe in road crossing, ducts, fixed along poles, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Earthing complete with G I earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm burried directly in ground vertically in pit of depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded from all sides with mixture of charcoal and common salt in alternate layers and electrode connected to G I earth strip 4 dia G I wire by means of brass bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers, earth strip protected by galvanized steel pipe 40 mm bore (light grade) connected to main switch board or any other electrical equipment all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR-2009 Part I and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20 mm bore medium grade GI pipe for watering, funnel with wire mesh, PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 chamber, pit cover of precast RCC (1:2:4), type B-1, reinforced XPM of weight not less than 4 kg/ Sq.m and MS frame etc. including replacment of old unserviceable earthing, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) The unit rate includes earth lead and protection pipe up to maximum 7.5 metre from earth plate to earth point/test point. (ii) Earth pit shall be constructed minimum 0.5 metre away from earth.

Taking down old unserviceable submain wiring aluminium ete and making good the disturbed surfaces of walls/ floor etc matching with the existing surface, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Sub-main wiring (concealed ) with two single core 4 sq mm FRLS PVC insulated unsheathed stranded copper conductor cable drawn through including chasing cutting in any type of masnory including 25 mm dia non-metallic PVC conduit fixed in wall including 2.5 sq mm copper earth continuity wire, accessories and connecting to earth dolly, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES :- (a) Two runs of cable with one run of earth wire shall be measured as one length. (b) Cable required for connection to DBs shall be deemed to be included and shall not be measured separately. (c) Earth wire shall run inside the conduit. (d) Extra length of cable required for connection to MCBs shall be demed included.

Sub-main wiring (concealed ) with two single core 6 sq mm FRLS PVC insulated unsheathed stranded copper conductor cable drawn through including chasing cutting in any type of masnory including 25 mm dia non-metallic PVC conduit fixed in wall including 4 sq mm copper earth continuity wire, accessories and connecting to earth dolly, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES :- (a) Two runs of cable with one run of earth wire shall be measured as one length. (b) Cable required for connection to DBs shall be deemed to be included and shall not be measured separately. (c) Earth wire shall run inside the conduit. (d) Extra length of cable required for connection to MCBs shall be demed included.

Cutting holes in brick wall to passes the GI pipe 15/20 mm dia and making good distrubed portion with cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 as required complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Taking down old unserviceable MCB DBs alongwith MCBs and making good disturbed surface of walls and floors, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Sheet metal enclosures for DB's for incorporating MCB's TPN, 4 way, IP-43 vertical, double glazed door with 200 amps rated busbar, 415 volts, as per IS-8623, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Legrand/L&T/C&S or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

Sheet metal enclosures for SPN DB's with double glazed door for incorporating MCBs, IP-43 , 8 way with 200 amps rated busbar, 240 volts, as per IS-8623, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Legrand/L&T/C&S or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

Sheet metal enclosures for SPN DB's with double glazed door for incorporating MCBs, IP-43 , 4 way with 200 amps rated busbar, 240 volts, as per IS-8623, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Legrand/L&T/C&S or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

MCCB 4 pole 63 Amps with breaking capacity 16 kA, 415 Volts, with thermal setting 80 to 100% including making all incoming/ outgoing connections, including taking down old unserviciable MCCB, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. Make :- Legrand/L&T/Schneider /C&S/Havells or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

MCCB 4 pole 100 Amps with breaking capacity 16 kA, 415 Volts, with thermal setting 80 to 100% including making all incoming/ outgoing connections, including taking down old unserviciable MCCB, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. Make :- Legrand/L&T/Schneider /C&S/Havells or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

MCCB 4 pole 125 Amps with breaking capacity 16 kA, 415 Volts, with thermal setting 80 to 100% including making all incoming/ outgoing connections, including taking down old unserviciable MCCB, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. Make :- Legrand/L&T/Schneider /C&S/Havells or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

MCB SPN 5 to 40 amps 'C' series, breaking capacity 10 kA, 'C' curve 240 volts, 50 Hz including necessary incoming and out going electric connection with suitable size of copper lugs etc including taking down old unserviciable MCB, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Legrand/L&T/C&S or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

MCB SP 5 to 40 Amps, C series, breaking capacity 10 KA, 'C' curve 240 volts, 50 Hz including necessary incoming and out going electric connection with suitable size of copper lugs etc including taking down old unserviciable MCB, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Legrand/L&T/C&S or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

Taking down carefully geyser of 25 litre capacity of any make any type after removing electric and water connections from existing system for carrying out repairs and re-fixing the same after carrying out necessary repairs to original place complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Repairs will be measured and paid seprately in respective items of BOQ.

Taking down carefully geyser of 50 litre capacity of any make any type after removing electric and water connections from existing system for carrying out repairs and re-fixing the same after carrying out necessary repairs to original place complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Painting of geyser of any make/shape/capacity with two coats of white paint super enameled after preparation of surface including marking of MES No by black enameled paint, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Hot & Cold connection pipe, 15 mm dia, 45cm long with cromium plated adopter and washer at both ends including taking out old unsecrivicable PVC / CP connection, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Heating element spiral / circular type of capacity 2 kW, ISI marked including rubber washer of geyser 50 Litre capacity geyser, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge . Make : ISI Marked as approved by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Heating element shall be providing as per existing geyser.

Heating element spiral / circular type of capacity 1.5 kW, ISI marked including rubber washer of geyser 25 Litre capacity geyser, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge . Make : ISI Marked as approved by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Heating element shall be providing as per existing geyser.

Thermostat swtich, ISI marked suitable for 25/50 litre capacity geyser ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make : Bajaj / Theta or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

Bib taps fancy type chromium plated, 15 mm cast copper alloy with crutch handle or butter fly handle screwed down , screwed for iron pipe and fixed as in repair, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge. Make : Zoloto/Jaguar/Prayag or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

Stop valve 15 mm dia cast copper alloy , angular decorative fancy type chromium plated, screwed down high pressure, with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions and fixed in repair , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make : Zoloto/Jaguar/Prayag or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

Cutting existing 15/20 mm steel tubing for alteration and addition (each cut measured ) including screwing existing steel tubing for alterationa and addition or lengthing screw on pipe to form connector , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

PVC insulated copper (flexible) conductor of size 2.5 Sqmm 3 core and connected to geyser including taking down old unserviceable cable of any size complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make : Anchor/Plaza/Finolex or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

Apparatus plate bottom cover in two halves made out of GI sheet dully painted with two coats of synthetic enemal paint white in colour fixed with nut, bolts, clamps, washer etc of geyser of any capacity, fixed in repair, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Welding with new brass studs for holding of heating element with replacement of suitable element holding clamps - 3 Nos, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Indicator lamp round/flat type of size & shape as per existing suitable for 25/50 litre capacity geyser working on 230 Volts AC Supply including necessary connections etc, fixed as in repair, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Anchor fastning of suitable size for fixing of geyser of any capacity, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Detecting the leakage from geyser of any capacity and arresting the same by brazing / soldering complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Sheet metal enclosure with socket plug top single pole and neutral enclosure with a two pin and earth plug and socket complete with one single pole MCB SP upto 20 amps, 240 Volts, fixed as in repair, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Legrand/L&T/C&S or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.

Plug top 20 / 32 Amp suitable for any type of geyser connection, fixed as in repair, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Legrand/L&T/C&S or equivalent makes as specified in Appendix 'B' List of Makes.
