CERTAIN REPAIRS/RESURFACING OF BITUMINOUS ROAD, ROAD FURNITURE AND CONNECTED WORK IN CERTAIN UNITS UNDER GE NAMS

Material and labour for Repair to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc cutting around edges to at least 30 mm in depth making good the surface by applying a tack coat 10 kg/10 Sqm ,putting in premixed bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with blinder @ 9.8 kg / ten Sqm , blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chipping 6.3mm size and again well rammed to uniform surfaces , depth of pot hole not exceeding 30mm thick complete, all as specified as directed.

Material and labour for Repair to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc cutting around edges to at least 30 mm in depth making good the surface by applying a tack coat 5 kg/10 Sqm ,putting in premix as specified for thin bituminous carpet (2cm thick), well rammed and sealed with premix sand seal coat (6.8 Kg of binder with 0.06 cum of sand) again well rammed complete to uniform surfaces , depth of pot hole not exceeding 30mm thick complete, all as specified as directed.

Material and labour for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked ,mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compresser to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming tack coat with paving bitumen primer @ 5 kg/10 sqm using paving bitumen VG 10 and laying semi dense Asphaltic bituminous concrete ( SDAC ) 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content VG 30 by weight of total mix with mechanical paver mixing in hot mix plant , rolled and consolidated to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne mechanical power roller complete, all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Material for premixed carpet and sand seal coat shall be mixed in hot mixing plant duly approved by GE. ( b) Mix design of bituminous SDAC will be got done from approved lab. (c) The premix carpet shall be laid with mechanical paver.

Material and labour premixed bituminous, macadam laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with using 20mm graded stone aggregate and paving bitumen @4% by the weight of total mix (consolidated thickness 75mm thick or less or as required) with 10 to 12 ton power roller complete, all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt /dust etc and other deleterious material and applying evenly a priming / tack coat using with bituminous primer of paving bitumen VG - 10 at the rate of 10 Kg per 10 Sqm, of road surface complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of road surfaces and applying thermoplastic reflective paint in marking of minimum 2.5mm thick single coat as in center line and edge line road marking of 150mm width using 'HOT MARK' thermoplastic modern propelled road marking machine as directed including all ingredients such as blinder, glass beads Titanium dioxide calcium carbonate inter fillers thermoplastic requirment for glass beads shall be the table No 800.4 of MORTH specification including spraying of glass beads etc all as per manufacture instructions and conforming to BS 3262-1989 complete, all as specified and directed. .

Supply and fixing in repair Solar Cat eye / Stud of size 125mmX125mmX25mm (Shank 60mm) with aluminium alloy shell, high efficiency Mono - crystalline solar pannel 2.40 V/0.30 Watt having one Ni-Mh are Ni-Cd rechargeble battery (1.2 V)/1600 MA), Six super bright LEDs with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd (Milli Candela) having flash rate 02 Hz and bearable weight 10 tons approx with view distance upto 1000 Mtrs of any colour i.e yellow, red, blue, green or white as required at site, working tem 10 degrees to 75 degrees C, working time 3 to 4 days after fully charged battery, charging time 5 to 6 hours from direct sun light, maint free unbreakable poly carbonate clear facing , automatically turns on at night and turns off at dawn including all fixing arrangement as per manufactures instructions complete, all as specified and directed. Make : DA 110(DHRUV) of DARK EYE or equivalent from list of makes.

Supply and fixing in repair CAT'S EYE designed to provide enhanced, dependable road guidance to motorists in bad weather conditions, made out of strong ABS moulded body with polycarbonate /PMMA (Acrylic) micro prismatic reflectors ultrasonically welded on the moulded ABS body for maximum retro reflection in wet and dry conditions and to be fixed with Epoxy - Resin based adhesive or special Hot Melt Bitumen adhesive avoiding nails etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete, all as specified and directed. Make :Model No. DA 972.0 or equivelant from list of makes.

Supply and fixing in repair for road delineator ABS round body, reflective reflectors (Amber/Red colour) and mounted on MS pipe 50mm dia duly powder coated overall length 850mm fitted with anti rust and theft steel net including welding of mild steel flat iron at bottom of delineator of size 25x5mm, 150mm long , necessary excavation and embeded in PCC block 1:2:4 type B1 of size 30x15x30cm complete, all as specifed and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair Plastic centre verge post size 750mm , base width 250mm and base dia 80mm colour yellow black including fixinging arrangement complete, all as specifed and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair for speed Brakers ,750mmx 250mmx75mm each pice with two Nos of reflector ,any colour plastic body conforming to IS-67-1977and filling hollow part with 1:2:4 plain cement concrete fixed with epoxy coating material and necessary fixture complete, all specified and directed.

Material and labour for one coat of synthetic enamel paint on old concrete Surfaces (road side curve any description or plain or moulded, over 10cm width or girth when unconnected with other painting or when painted in a different tint including preparation of surfacesetc, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation for New concrete, brick, stone, asbestos cement surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer any description, plain or moulded, over 10cm width or girth when unconnected with other painting or when painted in a different tint complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for machine pressed factory made PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone agg. as in precast kerb stone including rounded chamfered edge and set in CM 1:4 including demolition of old PCC kerb stone of any description and removing from site etc complete, all as specified and directed.
