Notes:- (i) The concrete pit shall be made in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate), 40mm thick precast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) with suitable MS handle in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I. Reinforcement in RCC cover shall be of 8mm dia TMT bars laid @150mm c/c both ways. (ii) Item includes the cost of 7.5 metre GI pipe for protection of earth strip. Any variation in length shall be adjusted through deviation order.(iii) Item includes cost of 7.5 metre earth strips. Any variation in length shall be adjusted through deviation order. (iv) Plate electrode shall be surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust & salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides.

M&L in replacement earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead 32x6 mm GI strip laid in pipe or fixed on wall or any other position including jointing by tinned copper/brass nuts, bolts and washers in adition brazing at every joint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead 8 mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried inground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement bldg security light fittings 45 watts energy saving including making all electric connection using three core copper cable drawn through in PVC flexible counduit pipe from ceiling rose to fittings and mounting bracket made out by GI pipe light grade in 25 mm dia of bore in required length bend in 120 degree fixed with clamping of surface of wall using clamp made out by GI strip in size 32 x4 mm using nut bolt and washer etc complete all as specified and directed. M&L in replacement unserviceable sub main wiring with two runs single core PVC FRLS IS-694 cable with unsheathed multi-stranded copper conductor of size 6 sqmm and drawing through in concealed rigid non metallic PVC conduit pipe medium grade heavy duty in suitable size with all necessary fittings including one run of FRLS insulated unsheathed multi-stranded copper conductor of size 6 sqmm as earth wire(green in colour) and connected to common earth dolly complete including taking out old unserviceable sub main wiring with accessories complete all as specified and directed. Make: Havells / Anchor / Finolex. Note: (i) Two run for 6 sqmm with one run of PVC conduit pipe shall be measured against one unit. (ii) Cost of cutting /chasing/ plastering /colouring / matching to disturbed surface all as existed etc as per site requirement shall be included in quoted rate.

Note :- (i) Credit shown in credit schedule of tender document shall be considered by the tenderer while quoting the rates of various items. The same shall be recovered from various payment to contractor before handing over old material. The contract amount shall be arrived at after deduction of Schedule of Credit from the total quoted amount in BOQ. (ii) Make of material shall be as per mentioned in Particular specifications or Appendix 'B' to Particular specifications as approved by AGE (I) AF manauri if not specified in BOQ
