Servicing of ACBs in main LT Panels installed in various D.G. set rooms and Sub-Stations at IIT Delhi

One time overhauling and servicing of L&T make Air Circuit Breaker with C-Power maintenance kit consists of consumables like greases, cleaning spray, dusters, scrubber and hardware etc. by L&T authorized service centre minutely as per OEM scope of work for servicing for the following:

Overhauling and Servicing upto 1600A

Overhauling and Servicing upto 2000A to 2500A

Overhauling and Servicing 3200A to 4000A

Annexure-A REGULAR MAINTENANCE SERVICE Scope of work: Air Circuit Breaker:

(i) Cleaning of breaker with CRC-226 (ii) Removal of old grease and re-greasing the same complete as required. (iii) Checking the reset mechanism, tripping of breaker through push button. (iv) Checking tripping of ACB through protection release. (v) Tripping of ACB manually through volt metric release. (vi) Checking of presence and proper tightning of hardware. (vii) Checking of Ready-To-Close (RTC) (viii) Checking condition and alignment of jaw contact with breaker terminals. (ix) Checking condition of safety shutter. (x) Checking condition of ACB wiring and replace if required. (xi) Checking working of anti pumping device in case of EDO ACB. (xii) Checking alignment of SIC and it's operation. (xiii) Checking condition of arc chutes. (xiv) Checking U/V release pick up & drop off. (xv) Checking ACB tripping through shunt release. (xvi) Checking motor operation in case of EDO ACB. (xvii) Checking closing coil operation in case of EDO ACB. (xviii) Checking continuity and proper changeover of aux contact block. (xix) Testing of release by L&T Simulation kit for overload, short circuit and Earth Fault. (xx) Setting of release as per the load and Checking the healthiness of CTs. (xxi) Visual observation of bus bar and wiring. (xxii) Any parts found defective shall be replaced by the contractor but items shall either be supplied by IIT Delhi or can be supplied by the contractor at extra cost after the approval of Engineer-In-Charge.

Consumables and reporting: (i) Maintenance kit needs to be purchased from our approved service centre. Require one maintenance kit per ACB. (ii) In case of any faulty part taken out of any switchgear and replaced, the same shall be handed over to IIT Delhi. (iii) Any other defect observed during service, which will affect the performance of switchgear shall be recorded by the contractor and shall give a copy of the same to IIT Delhi for records and further action. (iv) The cost of spares and consumables has not been included in the service charges. These must be provided by customers.
