JOB WORK FOR SOIL INVESTIGATION OF DEFICEINT PARKING GARAGE/ SHED FOR PERSONAL VEHICLE IN OMQ AND SMQS AT AF STN NAL

The scope of work comprises as under:- (a) Construction of 150mm diameter bore 0 to 10 mtr/refusal strata according to IS 1892-1892-1979. (b) Conducting standard penetration test (SPT) as per IS 2131-1988. The testing shall be made at every change in strata or at 7 intervals of not more than 1.5mtr whichever is less. The test may be made at least intervals if specified or considered necessary as per 3.31 of IS-2131-1988. (c) Collection of undisturbed soil sample at an interval of 1.35 mtr or change of strata. (d) Ground water table & HFL :- (i) Maximum and minimum levels of ground water in the area with the source of information (Minimum-90mtr, Maximum- 130mtr. (e) The SBC of the soil is required to given as per depth of foundation at 1m, 1.5m, 2.0m, and 2.5m bearing capacity governed generally as per IS 8009 (Pt-I)-1976, IS 2770 (Pt-II)-1980, IS 6403-1981, IS 1904-1986 & 1080-1985 and other relevant IS Codes and details calculations duly showing the various soil parameters/indices shall be given in the soil report and also recommendation for Pile/Mat foundation if required as per SBC data. CONTINUED (f) Conduction of laboratory tests(As per IS code provisions ) on disturbed/undisturbed soil samples as per project requirement after completion of boring and submit the test results to the Engineer-in-chrge as given below:- (i) Sieve analysis. (ii) Plasticity Index. (iii) Specific gravity. (iv) Water content. (v) Particle size analysis. (vi) Bulk and dry density. (vii) Atterburg limit. (viii) Harmful salt and organic matter if any (ix) Direct shear test (in case of sandy soil). (x) Unconfined un-drained test (in case of clayey soil) (xi) Consolidation test (for saturated soil). (xii) Ground water table observed during the soil investigation.
