Comprehensive maintenance consisting of normal repairs with periodical routine maintenance and testing of DG set complete of following as per manufacturer's instruction through authorised workshop / agency as approved by GE for the following DG sets (i.e. Engine, alternator, radiator, battery and control wiring etc all including consumables like cotton waste cloth, kerosine oil etc.) Maintenance will be carried out as under: - (i) Examine suction and exhaust valves in regard smooth operation. (ii) Examine and clean fuel injection, nozzles. (iii) Check clearance of suction and exhaust valves and adjust if required. (iv) Changing of oil filters, fuel filters, screen filters assembly. (v) Changing of DCA water filter. (vi) Labour charge for coolant top up. (vii) Change of Hydraulic governor oil. (viii) Change of anerold oil. (ix) Clean alternator winding in position by pressurised air and internal surfaces lubrication of DE and NDE bearings. (x) Tightening of all nut bolts. (xi) Greasing of all points. (xii) Test IR value of alternator winding and recording the readings. (xiii) Checking of any leaking in fuel and oil lines. (xiv) Cleaning of any fuel tank by removing any dirt / foreign particles. Note 1: - DHPP (N) required at the time of maintenance / testing will be issued by MES. Note 2: - Labour charges for dismantling / taking down and replacement / fixing new parts as and when required is deemed to be included the rate quoted by the contractor. Note 3: - Spare parts like oil filter, fuel filter, Air flter etc. will be measured and paid separately.

Repair / servicing of self starter 12 volts DC complete with and including replacement of burnt / unserviceable spare parts, clutch assembly, carbon brush, solenoid switch, plunger, armature and refixing for DG set 10 KVA to 160 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling / repair / overhauling of water pump assembly of DG set upto 160 KVA by replacing defective parts like pump, shaft, impeller CI, mechanical seal, water set gaskit, hub for pulley, set screw, bearing grooves nuts, spacers and spring washer and metling / machine work if any and refixing after repair complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling / repair / overhauling of charging alternator (dynamo) of DG set having capacity of 10 KVA to 160 KVA and replacement of unserviceable / defective parts like carbon brushes, bearing, leaver, pulley, spacer, commutator assembly, armature, washer etc. and refitting after repair complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for lubricant oil SAE 15 W - 40 for Top up and filling up the oil in the sump (tank) after completely flushing the old oil out of the tank and cleaning of the tank for fresh filling complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling / taking down radiator assembly for repair / servicing of DG set 25 KVA to 160 KVA and carry out complete internal cleaning, brazzing to tubing and rectification of leakage and refitting including replacement of minor spare parts like inlet / outlet rubber hose with MS clamps, pipe for thermostat to radiator washer, nut, bolts complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting the existing battery of capacity 12 V, 180 AH from the DG set, taking it to battery workshop, draining out the complete unserviceable electrolyte acid from the battery, filling up with new electrolyte acid to the required level, charging the battery, testing the battery for correct specific gravity, bringing back to the location, connecting to DG set, start the engine for satisfactory function complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting the existing battery of capacity 12 V, 90 AH to 150 AH from the DG set, taking it to battery workshop, draining out the complete unserviceable electrolyte acid from the battery, filling up with new electrolyte acid to the required level, charging the battery, testing the battery for correct specific gravity, bringing back to the location, connecting to DG set, start the engine for satisfactory function complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting FIP pump of DG set of following capacity and carry out complete servicing / calliberation from authorised service centre and refitting after calliberation including replacement of injector nozzle, delivery valves, gaskit, fuel pump gear, flange assembly, plunger, copper washer, adaptor, set both etc. as required to make the FIP serviceable complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement Alternator fly wheel ring for DG set capacity 25 to 63 KVA complete with disconnecting alternator from the engine and for replacement of fly wheel complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for replacement of unserviceable ball bearing of alternator heavy duty conforming to ISI suitable for DG set alternator 25 KVA to 160 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for replacement of unserviceable speed controller with auto cut sensor unit for DG set capacity 40 KVA to 100 KVA complete as specified and as directed.

Dismantling all incoming / outgoing electric connection carefully of transformer, voltage stabilizer, LT panel, switch, change over etc and repair the cable, fixed properly with proper aluminium thimble / lugs including preparation of cable end for jointing (incoming / outgoing cable connection for each cable will be measured as one job each). Replacement of Thimbles / Lugs rates are deemed to be included in above jobs.

Material and labour for refixing at said location with replacement of below mentioned items including connecting the MCCB's bus bars with suitable size of PVC insulated copper cable, copper lugs, cable gland, bolts, nuts and washers, phase terminals etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: - Wherever cable fixing / connection suitable thimble should be used as per site situation.

Supply and fixing in replacement MCCB 4 pole 250 A, breaking capacity 50 KA at 415 Volt AC, 50 Hz (L frame type adjustable thermal and adjustable magnetic setting, lcs=75% of lcu).

Supply and fixing in replacement unserviceable indicators LED set of three pieces as per existing size and sample completed all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement copper wound CT 100/5-03 No's complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement ampere meter digital type 0-200 / 0 to 400, 0 to 600, 96 Sqmm square type flush panel mounted complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement volt meter digital type 0-500 Volt, 96 Sqmm square type flush panel mounted complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for replacement of old burnt out aluminium bus bar and connected link bar with proper colour coating with insulation tape of current rating 630 / 400 Amps including replacement of old rusted nut and bolts, washers complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement for meter board for housing electric meter with transparent lid tampered proof with suitable locking arrangements including removing existing serviceable electric meter from the panel board after disconnecting all incoming / outgoing connection carefully and refixing the same in position all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down old and unserviceable submain wiring any size of two core and including earth wire complete including batten / conduit any type (concealed / surface) and making good the disturbed surface to match the existing surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement PVC flat serviceable cable 10 Sqmm 2 core multistranded conductor 1100 Volts grade heavy duty cable PVC insulated aluminium conductor, served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed in service connections suspended by insulating hangers not more than 1 metre apart including 4mm suspension wire, one twin core cable flat or circular complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for testing of old earthing using calibrated earth tester and submitting result to Engineer-in-Charge. Earthing which showing much more results as specified in IS rule and disconnectivity should be replaced with new earthing items are considered as below complete all as specified and as directed. Note: - (i) Watering of earthing with 2 Buckets (30 litres) water mixed with salt (total 5 Kg) shall be carried out one day before the testing and the cost of the same shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted.

Dismantling / taking down old existing unserviceable lightening conductors and Material and labour / fixing for lightening conductor assembly made out of GI pipe medium grade of size 40 mm bore alongwith welded flange at one end and GI reducer socket to connect epoxy insulators of suitable size of air termination and connector for earth strip duly fixed with necessary nuts, bolts and washers in PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 30cm x 30cm x 30cm complete all as specified and as directed. Note: - GI pipe 40mm and air temination shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

Supply and fixing in replacement GI pipe medium grade of size 40 mm bore with all fittings for erection of lightening conductor complete as required all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement air termination Aluminium rod 20mm dia, 300 mm long for lightening conductor with epoxy insulators of suitable size of air termination complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement air termination copper rod 12mm dia, 300 mm long for lightening conductor with epoxy insulators of suitable size of air termination complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for replacement of tubing GI "medium grade" with all fittings laid in floors or trenches including taking out old unserviceable pipe of size 15 mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement gun metal globe / gate valve 15 mm dia internal threaded with iron wheel head conforming to ISI complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for cutting to existing GI pipe line of any size in position for addition, alteration / for branch connection or insertion of tee complete with including GI fittings for jointing branch connection, threading, earthwork as per site requirement all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for replacement of syntex tank double layer 250 litre complete with float valve complete all as specified and as directed.
