RFP for Structural Repairs at GIC HO - Suraksha

Erecting single/double bamboo scaffolding includingfixing temporary plywood in min. thickness of 4mm to doors, windows etc. when work is in progress and dismantling the same when work is over..(Note:- Same scaffolding to be used for external painting works )

Providing and fixing hessian cloth when work is in progress and dismantling the same when work is over.

Provide safety net for the safety purpose to prevent debris from falling the free movement of vehiclec ,remove the same after the completion of the work.

Chipping off existing loose, damaged Concrete from RCC members of all affected RCC Columns, Beams, Slabs and Chajjas on External and internal facades, etc beyond main r/f. (if required in the opinion of the Consultant), carefully with chisel and hammer Providing and applying ‘Rusticide SS’ Rust passivator or equivalent as specified in the Brand Names to existing r/f. bars Including wire brushing of reinforcement , cleaning washing of concrete etc complete as directed.Providing and applying two coats of rust preventor slurry made out of “Polyalk Fixoprime” or equivalent as specified in the Brand Names and cement in proportion 1:1.5 to existing r/f.bars as directed complete. Providing and applying bonding coat of slurry made out of “Polyalk EP” or equivalent as specified in the Brand Names and cement in proportion 1:1 to concrete and r/f substrates complete as directedProviding and applying “Polyalk EP” or equivalent as specified in the Brand Names and providing Ready mix Polymer modified cement mortar of minimum M40 grade ) to RCC members Including Hand packing, curing and making the surface rough for plastering.

RELIEVING STRUCTURAL MEMBERS Relieving Structural members such as column, beam and slabs of their superimposed loads partially or fully by provision of adjustable steel props, frames etc. including providing necessary timber runners, bracing, jacking up arrangement all Complete to the satisfaction of Engineer in charge (Removing and redoing of brickwork, if required, shall be paid separately

FILLING AND REINSTATING OF SEPARATION CRACKS Opening the Separation Cracks at the Junction of RCC and Masonry where ever directed and instructed into ‘’V’’ Grooves 2’’ to 3’’ from the either side of the cracks by carefully marking the areas to be opened up using a Cutting machine and skillfully /carefully Chiseling with a well sharpened chisel and hammer as directed including Wire brushing and washing of concrete Substrata and masonry walls with water jet to the surfaces thus prepared to the entire satisfaction of the Consultant as instructed and directed.

Moistening the Cracks, Providing and applying priming/bonding coat of slurry made out of “Polyalk EP”and cement (or equivalent as specified in the List of Brand names) in proportion 1:1 to surfaces prepared as instructed and directed. Filling the Cracks /Grooves by Providing and applying “Polyalk EP” Polymer modified cement mortar (or equivalent as specified in the List of Brand names) in Proportion of 1: 20: 60 (Polyalk EP: Cement: Graded sand/quartz sand) on the prepared surfaces and finishing it in level with the existing plaster Including Hand packing, curing and making the surface similar to the external plastering using wooden floats/punch etc. complete as per specified and directed.

Drilling holes of required size upto 16 mm Diameter and up to 50mm depth in concrete and cleaning the same as directed.
