UPGRADATION OF JOINERIES OF CERTAIN STUDENT OFFRS MD ACCN AT WH DSSC WELLINGTON

Taking down chowkhats or frame n .exc 1.5 Sqm each without taking off shutters from frame, and making good surface all as specified and as directed.

Taking down chowkhats or frame exc 1.5 Sqm but n exc 4 Sqm each without taking off shutters from frame,all as specified and as directed.

Taking down shutter of any description exc 1 sqm but n. exc 2 sqm each all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for rafter,purlin etc all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix UPVC windows of Factory made UPVC white sliding windows with glazing all as per manufacturer's direction and following specifications :- (i) Window panel shall be 2.5 track frame with upvc profile section of size 95mmx 54mm having outer wall thickness of 2mm(+/- 0.3mm ) with sliding pattern with glazed and mesh shutter. (ii) window glass shutter for (front panel )shall be made of 66mmx 42.5mm having outer wall thickness of 2.0mm(+/- 0.3mm) . (iii) Window mesh shutter shall be made of 52mm x 22mm.Gauge shall be suiable wire gauge SS304 coated/fiber black mesh. (iv) All profile of frames and sash shall be reinforced with galvanised mild steel section of 1mm wall thickness at wherever required. (v) All the corners and joints of the frame shall be mitred cut & fusion welded without any mechanical joints.All welded joints are to be neatly trimmed & features grooved /raised nib finish so as to make nthe finished products free from all sharp edges & burrs. (vi) The lock shall be single point touch lock.All hardware like wheel,lock should be screwed .System shall be provided with suitable UPVC beading size of 25mm x15.5mm for glazing of size 4mm/5mm pinhead /plain glass as directed by the Engineer In charge. (vii) The profiles shall be cut to length and welded 45 degrees . (iii) The complete window shall be fixed into the prefinished opened place by drilling & fixing thorugh the outer frame using high quality fasteners & silicon sealent is applied to fill up the gap between wall & window frame for leak proof installation and completion. Note: The entire fixing will be done as per manufactures instructions and specification and as directed by Engg in charge. (II) The unit rate quoted by contractor includes cost of glass/wire netting and all other connected accessories. Net opening will be measured for payment purpose.

Supply and fix UPVC panel door shutters with frames with approved make and section and colour with all necessary fixtures like hinges, handles, bolts etc all as specified and directed.The detailed specification as follows. (i) Door frame shall be upvc profile section of size of 60mm x 60mm wall thickness of 2mm(+/- 0.3mm ) with openable pattern.) (ii) Door shutter with sash made of 80mm x60mm and panel shall be 10 to15mm thick(+/- 0.3mm ) .All profile of frames and sash shall be reinforced with galvanised mild steel section of 1mm wall thickness at wherever required. (iii)All the corners and joints of the frame shall be mitred cut & fusion welded without any mechanical joints.All welded joints are to be neatly trimmed & features grooved /raised nib finish so as to make nthe finished products free from all sharp edges & burrs. (vi)The profiles shall be cut to lenth and welded 45 degrees

Supply and fix UPVC ventilator with the profile for costruction of UPVC ventilator frame will be of overall size 60x58 mm with wall thickness 2.7 + or - 0.2 mm extruded sections. The corners will be plastic welded.The hinge side vertical outer frame shall be reinforced with galvanized channel of wall thickness 1.2 mm. The ventilator will be fixed to walls using 8 mm dia 80 mm dia MS screws minimum 2 nos on each sicde. The 3 nos of pinned glass will be placed in slots provided in ventilator. Glazing: The ventilator will be glazed with 5 mm thick pinhead glass. Note: The entire fixing will be done as per manufactures instructions and specification and as directed by Engg in charge. (II) The unit rate quoted by contractor includes cost of glass/wire netting and all other connected accessories. Net opening will be measured for payment purpose.

Supply and fix UPVC side hung/fixed window with frame will be of overall size 60x60mm with wall thickness 2.7 + or - 0.2 mm extruded sections and the with window sash with frame section of 78mm x 68mm . The corners will be plastic welded.The hinge side vertical outer frame shall be reinforced with galvanized channel of wall thickness 1.2 mm. The window will be fixed to walls using 8 mm dia 80 mm dia MS screws minimium 2 nos on each side. The window shutter will be glazed with 5 mm thick pinhead/plain glass as specified and as directed. Note: The entire fixing will be done as per manufactures instructions and specification and as directed by Engg in charge. (II) The unit rate quoted by contractor includes cost of glass and all other connected accessories. Net opening will be measured for payment purpose.

S&F 35 mm thick flush shutter, solid core construction, with block board core and plywood face panels, commercial type on both sides complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 2nd class hard wood plain solid, straight chowkhats and frames wrought, framed, rebated on the solid rounded or chamfered put together with glue pinned at joints all as specified and as directed.

M&L 2nd class hardwood Glazed and skeleton shutter 35mm thick open rebated and prepared to receive glass, gauze, etc. (without sash bars), edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass, etc, sizes of members of shutters as specified in SSR Part I, Section 8, clause 8.24 (a) supplied and fitted to chowkats all as specified and as directed.

S&F Stainless steel wire cloth 0.36mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm and fixed with stainless steel wire staples all as specified and as directed.

S&F MS Butt hinges medium weight cold rolled & fixed 100 mm long all as specified and as directed.

S&F 150mm extruded aluminium alloy handles, fabricated type, anodised all as specified and as directed.

S&F 150mm aluminium anodised, barrel tower bolts of extruded section and fixed all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of new wooden surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coat of synthetic enamelled paint over one coat of pink primer all as specified and as directed.

M&L for framed work such as grills, gratings,etc.with angle,joist,tee/tubular sections and with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; frame work of water tanks and similar work con- forming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 including hinges,hold fast,etc all as specified and as directed. .

M&L for 2 coats of synthetic enamel painting over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome on new steel surface of any description over 10 cm width or girth not otherwise described incl preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for providing precast cement concrete solid building blocks or slabs 10cm thick (with plain or interlocking joints as directed) built in PCC type C-1(Using 20mm garded stone aggregate) and setting in mortar,complete, in walls and set in CM 1:4 all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Pre-cast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks,in type C-1 (1:3:6) using 20mm graded stone aggragate exc. 10 cm in width and setting in mortar(1:6), complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rendering 10mm thick in Cement Mortar (1:6) on concrete/brick masonry surfaces of wall, finished even and smooth complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rendering 10mm thick in Cement Mortar (1:4) on concrete/brick masonry surfaces of wall, finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Granite work with 20mm thick machine cut, Jet Black granite slab in single piece or two piece length, table rubbed and polished, laid over and including 20mm thick cement screed in cement mortar 1:4, bedded and jointed with grey cement slurry and pointed with white cement (1:2) using marble dust and admixture of pigments to match with shade of granite stone as in cooking platforms, microwave platform, WHB counter top in steps, jambs, pillars, window-cills, etc, including cutting, polishing and rounding to edges of stone slabs etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F HDHMR/HDWR Board 18mm thick both side laminated any colour, as in PVC Bedding Shutter vertical support and horizontal shelfs including necessary fittings of screws/MS Brackets in kitchen cupboard and bedroom cupboard in repairs complete all as specified and as directed. Make :- HDHMR board : ACTION TESA or techno commercially equivalent

S & F soft close stainless steel hinges 75mm complete all as specified and as directed . Hardware : EBCO or techno commercially equivalent

S & F stainless steel handle 150mm long complete all as spd and as directed. HANDLE : RICH or techno commercially equivalent.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls incl preparation and applying two coat of distemper oil emulsion washable on new surface over a coat of chalk white primer all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing newly plasterd surfaces of external wall and applying one coat of exterior wall primer and two coats of exterior emulsion anti fungal weather proof paint complete all as per manufacturer instruction and all as specified and directed. Make :-APEX ULTIMA OF Asian Paint or WEATHER COAT SMOOTH of Berger or Nerolac Excel Top guard of Nerolac

Material and labour for applying wall care putty 1.5mm thick(Avg thickness) on new or old plastered surface of wall including finsh the surface even and smooth with using appropriate sand paper all as specified and directed .

Supply and fix in repair 25 mm dia aluminium coated design curtain rod antique finish fixed to double bracket matching with curtain rods complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F and as in repair Stainless steel wire cloth 0.36mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm and fixed with stainless steel wire staples all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of floor hearth or wall tiling including cement mortor bedding(but not backing) complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster of any description on brick or stone walls etc including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for non skid ceramic tiles 6 to 7mm thick (square/rectangle) area of each tile exc 0.06sqm but not exc 0.11 sqm, in floors and scantling etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for coloured glazed ceramic tiles in vertical surface 300x600x7mm thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match placed in rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggragate steps; seismic and other similar bands,plinth courses, string courses,lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height,copings, kneelers, apex stones,bed plates, kerbs not provided for in Item 04028, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified and as directed.
