Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Conditional Tenders will not be accepted.

All necessary paperwork, etc., and any other formalities required to be observed shall be the responsibility of the contractor.

It is the responsibility of the contractor to pursue and obtain all necessary approvals.

The tenderer shall scan the original ownership document/ lease / hire commitment Agreement scanned file to the Bid. The Original Documents shall be produced at the time of opening of Tender.

The Contractor shall submit to the employer, for his review and approval, all shop drawings, samples, materials lists, equipment data, instruction manuals, record documents, manufacturers equipment manuals, and other information required by the Contract Documents, before use and execution and before bringing the material at Site.

Whenever executing authority insist proof of having purchased the materials (used during executing the work) for verification. The contractor shall produce the purchase bills.

The contractor is responsible for safety and security of all materials.

All hard ware materials used for work shall be of hot dip galvanized as per IS wherever necessary.

As per Karnataka State Government order No. LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore Dated 01.01.2007 and G.No. PW/134/BMS/2007 Dated 27.7.2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted welfare fund.

The Employer reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders without assigning any reason.

The tenderer should furnish Qualification and experience of the key technical and Management personnel in permanent employment with the Tenderer and those that are proposed to be deployed on this work, if work is awarded.

It is the responsibility of the licensed electrical contractor who executes the maintenance works to get periodical services of the installations from the concerned Service Electricity Companies duly obtaining approval from the govt. electrical inspectorate as the case may be. However the department will pay the deposit/statutory fees if any after hearing the respective statutory bodies.

The tenderer should not damage the building while execution If any damages made, tenderer should make good of it from his own cost.

The start date for this work has to be considered from the date of issue of work order.

Tenderers must provide insurance to all the employees executing this work.

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing Karnataka Public Procurement Portal.

The Laboures deployed shall mandatory wear the face mask, Electrical safety hand gloves and take all safety measures to protect laboures and staff.

The agency should consider necessary ladder etc required for fixing Electrical times.

The agency considers all labours required for fixing items.

The agency should inspect the site before quoting the tender.

Estimate rates are excluding GST as per Common SR 2023-24 and prevailing GST (18% of Amount Put to tender) amount is kept in form of Lump sum in sanctioned estimate according to guidelines in Common SR Therefore, amount put to Tender and ECV amount are excluding GST. KPPP-PORTAL format has No Options to add GST Separately at stage of Draft Tender Schedule Process for Over All amount put to Tender, tender has been inviting through an Option with INCLUSIVE. But the item wise rates do not include GST. Hence, Contractor has to quote the rates excluding GST and the GST will be paid separately for the quoted amount accordingly. Declaration Certificate must be attached mandatorily.

The quoted rates shall be excluding GST and applicable GST shall be paid separately.

Wages to the employees of the contractor should maintain as per Minimum Wages Act, 1948 or as amended from time to time by the Govt. Of India, where in the contractors, will be paid consolidated amount as per accepted rate.

Contractor shall have to abide by the Labour Laws of Government and have to extend the statutory due/benefit to the person who will be deployed.

The Labours deployed shall mandatory were face mask, hand gloves and take all safety measures to protect labours and staff as per Covid Norms.
