Treatment of the sunken floor slab comprises of the following specification and all as specified. (Make :- Dr Fixit/ M/s Sika india Pvt Ltd/ STP Ltd/ M/s Fosroc Chemicals ).

(a) Demolition of cement concrete filling of any description in sunken portion in toilet and removing debris outside MoD land.

(b) Cleaning the sunken/ lowered portion of RCC slab surfaces (including vertical total depth plus skirting height) of floors by wire brush, chisel out any mortar sticking to the surface and brooming completely. 40mm thick average PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5mm graded aggregate as in padding concrete to achieve proper slope including cutting holes in bricks or RCC wall for spout (WPC shall be measured and paid separately)

(c) Rendering of uneven surfaces with 10mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound @ 3% by wt of cement consumed. Fill it with water and check dampness and seepage. Where dampness/ seepage is noticed, nozzles shall be fixed and grouting carried out. (WPC shall be measured and paid separately).

(d) All junctions points of side wall spout where CI/ GI pipes are passing through shall be sealed with epoxy putty.

(e) After drying putty, wash the slab and sides of sunken portion with water and make it clear and clean.

(f) M&L for applying two coats of polymer modified cementious water proof coating as per manufacturer instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level+100mm height. The thickness of two layer shall be 1mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion all as specified and directed.

(g) Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound @ 3% by wt of cement consumed as per manufacturers specification including rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout. (WPC shall be measured & paid separately).

(h) Material and labour for 150mm thick plain cement concrete type E-2, 1:5:10 (40mm graded aggregate) complete all as specified.

(j) Material and labour for 50mm thick plain cement concrete type B-0, 1:2:4 (12.5mm graded aggregate) complete all as specified.

Note :- Test the water proof area (ponding test) by filling water for at least 72 hours and tested for leakage, seepage to the entire satisfaction of GE. Test shall be done in presence of reps of Engineer-in-Charge. The treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicator of chemicals. Cost of testing is included in the unit quoted rate above.

Supply only integral water proofing compound (ISI marked) of approved make complete all as specified and as directed. (Make:-Dr. Fixit Pidi Proof or equivalent).

Material and labour for dismantling the existing unserviceable gully trap including chamber and material and labour for provision of salt glazed stoneware gully trap, square or round mouth type "P" of size 180mmX150mm, including setting and jointing in cement mortar 1:1 plain cement concrete base in PCC 1:2:4 type B1, brick work in cement mortar 1:4 rendering in cement mortar 1:4 all around finished even and fair using extra cement RCC cover slab in RCC type B1, 1:2:4 with 6mm dia reinforcement etc, complete all as specified and as directed

Material and Labour in repair of leakage/seepage from the Nahani trap/ floor trap of kitchen/ bathroom/ washbasin of the upper Qtr, in any position at any height, complete including change of floor trap, PVC horinzontal pipe embeded in floor in bathroom or kitchen making good to the damaged portion of flooring, laying and matching of tiles in the existing flooring, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair of leakage/seepage from the wall/ door bend /door tee/ 'Y' junction/ 'T' Junction of soil pipe / waste pipe/ vent pipe of kitchen/ bathroom/WC of the upper Qtr or at the ground floor Qtr including change of any damaged soil waste pipes or fittings of any shape, specification and size, making good to the damaged portion of wall with brick work in cement mortar 1:6 or cement concrete 1:2:4 and plastering to wall in CM 1:4 and finished the surfaces matching to existing wall complete to avoid the leakage/ seepage at the site of work complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 14 & 15 :- (a) Find out main cause of leakage and take necessary steps to resolve / rectify. (b) Replace existing tiles in case leakage through NT/FT. (c) The rate also include provision of new NT/FT. (d) The unit rate is also deemed to be included for reqd bonding chemicals to arrest the leakage/seepage as directed by the manufacturer's specification. Taking down chowkat or frame (wooden/ steel) exceeding 1.50 sqm and not exceeding 4.0 Sqm each with shutter (with out taking off shutters from the frame) all as specified and as directed.

M&L for second class hard wood plain, solid, straight Chowkats and frames, wrought, framed, rebated on the solid, rounded or chamfered, put together with glue pinned at joints complete all as specified and directed.

S&F flush door 30mm thick membrane doors decorative finish on one side duly finished and polished on other side all as per manufacturers directions as per tint / colour including necessary teak wood lippings, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 2nd class hard wood 35mm thick Factory made plain framed panelled shutter any number of panels with lock rail and panel of 9mm BWP commercial ply or 12mm veneered partical board with commercial veneering on both faces. The size of rail and stile as per IS 1003 (Part-I), kiln seasoned and chemically pressure treated all as specified and directed..

S&F Factory made 35mm thick Glazed and skeleton shutters open rebated and prepared to receive glass, gauze, etc. divided into squares, with plain, chamfered or rounded, mitred and rebated sash bars, any numbers, edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded. fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass, etc.; sizes of members of shutters as specified in SSR Part I, Section 8, clause 8.24 (a); all as specified and directed.

Preparation of new wood or wooden surface of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer complete all as specified and directed

M&L for Preparation of old decorated surfaces of walls by using pressure washer, remove all dirt & dust ,applying one coat of wall care putty and then applying two coats of premium oil bound distemper over one coat of primer as per manufauturer instruction of required shade complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old plastered surfaces of wall by using pressure washer, removal all dirt and dust and applying one coat of exterior emulsion weather proof paint complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair wire netting of galvanised steel wire 1.40mm dia fixed with tinned tacks or wire staples, size of mesh 12mm including welding, cutting, holdfast fixing etc with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Removing plant/Uprooting of vegetation growth including roots on wall/roof/parapet near pipes etc and applying acid treatment after removing roots for preventing regrowth and making good disturbed surfaces/area in superficial area exc 150 Sq.cm but n.exc 400 Sq.cm and averaging depth not exceeding 10 cm by using PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) or 10mm thick plastering in cement mortar 1:3 as required and finishing the surfaces to match with the existing surface complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 141 :- (a) Rate quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to inclusive of double steel scaffolding. (b) Contractor shall provide safety gears to his workers at his own cost and safety pre caution to avoid accidents.
