Earth work in excavation in foundations, trenches, etc. in all kinds of soils, not exceeding 2 metres depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil, clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around masonry, in 15 cm layers with compaction, including disposal of all surplus soil, as directed within a lead of 30 metres. Cement Concrete 1:4;8 with stone aggreegate 40 mm nominal size in foundation and plinth. (HSR 10.39)

Cement Concrete 1:3:6 with stone aggregate 20mm nominal size in foundation and plinth. (HSR 10.40)

Cement Concrete 1:2;4 with Stone Aggergate 20 mm nominal size in foundation & Plinth (HSR 10.41)

First Class Brick work laid in Cement Sand 1:4 in foundation and Plinth (HSR 11.4)

First class brick work laid in cement sand mortar 1:3 in foundation and plinth (HSR 11.5)

Brick-on-edge flooring laid in cement sand mortar 1:4 on 75 mm thick cement 1:8:16 and 100 mm sand filling and cement pointed 1:2 on top. (HSR 14.23)

12 mm thick cement plasters 1:4 Cement (HSR 15.5)

Cement pointing 1:2 deep variety on brick and tile work. (HSR 15.60)

Cement concrete 1.1 1/2:3 with stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size for reinforced concrete work in fascias parapets and other thin vertical sections, not covered by Item Nos. 10.82, 10.86 to 10.88 not exceeding 10 cm thickness excluding steel reinforcement but including centring and shuttering, laid in position, complete in all respects.(HSR 10.89 + 10.95)

Steel reinforcement TMT bars FE-500 EQR/FE-500 D grade or more for RCC work, where no included in the complete rate of RCC including straightening, bending, binding, wastage, overlaps, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire etc. and placing in position complete in all respects for all heights /depths/storeys/basements etc. (HSR 18.22) NOTE:- Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hocks, if any, separately for different diameters as actually used in work, excluding overlaps, Wastage, overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods for binding and placing shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement.

Providing and Laying cement concrete M-30 with minimum 405 Kg cement contents with stone aggregate 20mm nominal size mechanically mixed and vibrated for reinforced concrete work in approach slab including steel reinforcement, centering and shuttering laid in position as per approved drawings complete in all respect as per clause No. 1000/1500 / 1700 /2704 of MORT&H specification (road wing) for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013 / latest edition.

Providing and Laying cement concrete M-30 with minimum 405 Kg cement contents with stone aggregate 20mm nominal size mechanically mixed and vibrated for reinforced concrete work in slab of culvert, RCC side drain excluding steel reinforcement but including centering and shuttering laid in position as per approved drawings complete in all respect as per clause No. 1000/1500 / 1700 /2200of MORT&H specification (road wing) for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013 / latest edition.

Note: In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR items depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable.
