M&L for Servicing of over head travelling crane complete including checking / tightening of all nut , bolt & breaks any type any size complete system, adjusting etc of all breaks motions and VFD adjustment setting as per load testing run of flame proof / non flame proof/ normal type EOT / HOT cranes with having single or double girder type and providing greasing & oiling of traveling / moving parts of crane with connecting motor girder parts for movement of crane hoist / long / cross traveling and including maintaining the controlling of speed / creeping micro speed of motors with minor maint / repair electrically operated main control panel wire with connecting control wiring system consisting of main switch, step down transformer, contactor, HRC fuse, VFD, PLR, control pendent ,wire rope with break drum unit, gear box unit , oil levels, motor bed / foot ,electrical control cable, motor terminal, end cable carriage trolly , motor shaft, bush flange bearing with lathe work ,chain pulley block, ratchet clutch, gear block, chain wheel, chain etc and including locating the defect or fault and rectification of the fault and rectification of oil leakage etc any type any size and replacement of defected nut, bolt & washer and making it soundless/sound proof and after trails testing run of crane for smooth functioning / operation satisfactorily complete for the following capacity as per relevant IS Code :-

NOTE FOR SERIAL ITEM NO 1 to 1.04 :- (i) Periodic inspection/servicing, to be carried out in every three months and making/keeping the cranes serviceable, for EOT/HOT cranes. (ii) LONG TRAVEL MOTION AND CROSS TRAVEL MOTION (a) Checking Gear box oil level and filling with required oil and rectification of leakages if any.(Note: Gear Oil shall be measured and paid separately as supply only) (b) break adjustment (c) Checking of long travel & cross travel wheel for any noise/malfunctioning. (d) Checking grease of geared couplings, complete nut, bolt work for tightening and replacement of grease nipple. (e) Checking of oil in Hydraulic thruster break, rectification of leakages if any and filling with required quantity of oil.(Note: break Oil shall be measured and paid separately as supply only) (f) Checking of electric motor connections, insulation resistance value etc (g) Checking the cut-off at extreme ends with the limit switch. (j) Checking and greasing of shaft pedestal (iii) HOIST MOTION (a) Checking gear box oil level and filling with required oil and rectification of leakages if any.(Note: Gear Oil shall be measured and paid separately as supply only) (b) break adjustment (c) Checking of main bearings of the rope drum including greasing the same (d) Checking grease of geared couplings and nut tightening. (e) Checking of oil in hydraulic thruster break, rectification of leakages if any and filling with required quantity of oil.(Note: break Oil shall be measured and paid separately as supply only)

(f) Checking of electric motor connections, insulation resistance value. (g) Checking wire rope for any damage & greasing the rope. (h) Adjustment of the rotary limit switch. (j) Checking of bearing of the hook and greasing the same. (iv) ELECTRICAL PANEL (a) Checking the contactors for overheating or flashing. (b) General checking of contacts and connections. (c) Cleaning of control panels and checking of connections. (d) Checking of connections of VFD drives/other drive, calibrating VFD drive and PLC to get smooth movement & maximum efficiency / other drives for smooth functioning of the same. (e) checking the serviceability of cable including power/control cable, checking the serviceability of cable carrier/cable trolleys ,adjusting as possible to get maximum free for movement of moving part/ Aprons of EOT cranes (v) DOWN SHOP LEAD (a) Checking the alignment and rectification. (b) Cleaning of the moving/sliding objects. (vi) GROUND MOTION CONTROL PANEL (a) Checking function ability of motion push buttons, function lock key operated switch, "ON &OFF" , lamps. (vii) Periodic inspection/servicing shall be carried out by authorized service engineers/ agencies, without any disturbance of movement/ operation schedule of bldgs as approved by GE. (viii) Major materials shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of schedule 'A'.

M&L for Load testing of over head travelling crane of HOT / EOT crane as per manufacturer norm for safe working rating load including arrangement of load measurement unit with link steel wire rope and required suitable load for testing duly varying the load upto 125% of the rated capacity load of crane including transporting to testing load at different location and also providing load test certificate in triplicate duly signed by inspector of crane complete for the following capacity :-

Dismantling of existing reduction gear box with device for hoist/CT/LT motion traverse for EOT cranes of load 2 to 5 Ton capacity and carrying out replacement of following unserviceable Parts / Carrying out misc repair and re-fixing the gear box after checking alignment of break drum & motor and motor & gearbox , in existing position, complete all as followings:- (a) Replacing the worn out shaft seals & bearing (b) Replacement of internal cover gasket (c) Replacement of Gear coupling with nuts & bolts complete.

S&F, PVC insulated steel wire rope of size 3 to 4 mm suitable for hanging of pandent / control box IN REPLACEMENT complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for locating the fault in EOT cranes, any capacity, make and type including rectification of minor defects such as tightening of nut & bolts, checking and rectifying loose connection of control panels, accessories and current collectors, replacing of fuse wire etc to keep the cranes functional complete NOTE:- (i) Supply only spare parts excluding minor parts will be measured and paid for under relevant items. (ii) Contractor shall attend day to day basis complaint of crane regularly as and when called within two to six hours effected time & maintenance shall be carried out accordingly for smooth functioning of crane and cost of the same shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

M&L for Wiring of control panel of existing panel with PVC copper conductor cable of suitable size in PVC channel and testing of the same for 2 to 5 ton EOT cranes IN REPLACEMENT complete all as specified and directed.

S&F, Bottom Hook assembly of 2 ton to 5 ton capacity EOT/HOT crane IN REPLACEMENT complete all as specified and directed.

S&F, Coupling system flexible star type male and female suitable for operation of LT/ CT travelling system and operating of shaft pedestal of size upto 50mm dia or as existing size of EOT crane of capacity 2 Ton including other defected connecting parts as required IN REPLACEMENT complete all as specified and directed.

NOTES APPLICABLE TO SERAL ITEM NO. 1 TO 67:- (i) To maintain utmost security at AF Station, contractor will arrange his workmen along with T&P in a manner that nonfunctional EOT / HOT crane/LIFT is made functional swiftly within 24 hour of receiving of complaint from the MES, during entire contract period. (ii) Not withstanding with the provision of "Compensation for Delay' envisaged under condition 50 of IAFW-2249, General Conditions of Contracts, additional compensation @ Rs. 1000/- day will be charged from contractor in case he fails to make the EOT / HOT crane/ LIFT functional to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge within 24 hour of receiving of complaint from the MES regarding non working EOT / HOT crane/ LIFT .

Notes: Amount of credit for retrieved materials is mentioned in tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted while acceptance of tender offline.
