Excavation in soil in hill areas all heights and depth in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hardd rock all work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiselling and wedging out rock( where blasting is prohibited) including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with a lift upto all heights and all leads as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, in conformately with the requirement of technical specification of rural roads clause 1603.1 all useful material such as stone, shingle, aggregates& slate etc. shall be sorted out and stacked along the road side properly. Any loss to the public and private property to during the course of execution shall be the absoulte responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Earth work in excavation for structure such as per drawings and technical specification clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials up to a lead of 50 m, dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:5:10 (1 cement: 5 sand:10 aggregate stone 40mm nominal size) including the cost of from work for plain/reinforced concrete in retaining walls, brest walls, the size of plum should be 150 to 300mm. As per drawing and H.P.P.W.D. technical specifications. including the cost of from work and hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of random rubble masonry in 1:6 (1 Cement : 6 Sand) for retaining walls, breast walls, revetment walls and parapets etc for substructure and superstructure complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 704.6 & 1302.5 including hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of dry rubble masonry for R/Wall, b/Walls, revetment walls and parapets etc for substructure and sperstructure complete as per drawings and technical specification clause 707.6 & 1302.5 including hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing weapholes in brick mosonry/ stone masonry /plain reinforced concrete aboutment, wing wall return wall with 100 mm dia PVC pipe extending through the full with of the structures with slop of 1(v): (H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 614,709,1204.3.7
