Repairs and restoration of 11 KV, VCB Panel installed at Water Supply Tangnar Stage-2nd. feeding power to the Filtration Plant.

i) Restoration of the 11 kV VCB panel installed at WSS Stage 2nd, feeding power supply to the filtration plant of the WSS Tangnar. The job involves isolating the panel from the 11 kV supply by way of disconnecting the input power cables from the transformer followed by disconnecting of the outgoing circuit. The job further includes dislodging the panel from the base, loading by manual means on to the vehicle for shifting to the workshop for the repairs. ii)Dismantling the panel by way of removal of damaged PT coils, bus bars, control wiring etc. Also included in the job is removal of large plumes of carbon, dust deposited on the panel enclosure by way of cleaning with Iso Propyl Alcohol. Preparation of surface and application of epoxy powder coat in Siemens Gray shade on inside as well as outside the panel enclosure. iii)P/F of One No. 11 kV/110V IS-Certified Potential Transformer (PT) set complete. iv)P/F of Aluminium bus bar of size 3 x (2 M x 40 mm x 10 mm) insulated with 11 kV grade heat shrink sleeves in red, yellow and blue colours. v)P/F of new control wring in 1.5 mm2 copper cable. vi)Servicing and repairs of 11 kV, 1250 A VCB of ABB make by way of dismantling the VCB, cleaning with CRC electrical contact cleaner, greasing after removal of old grease to ensure proper lubrication in the VCB. The job also includes inspecting, cleaning & proper aligning of fixed/floating contacts, ensure proper fixing of outer layer, and other hardware parts of the VCB, and push button functioning for breaker tripping. Also included in the job is rewinding of damaged tripping and closing coils as per sample. The job also includes extraction of anti-pumping relay and P/F of new one capable of operating on 36/110 V DC. vii)Rewinding of damaged 24 V tripping coil of 33 kVA out door type VCB installed at transformer yard on input circuit of damaged 11 kVA, 1250 A VCB. viii)P/F of multi-function meter capable of monitoring and measuring all the parameters such as voltage, current, power factor, phase angle etc. ix)Shifting back the restored VCB panel from works to site, unloading by manual means and installation at site after connecting all incoming and outgoing leads. Successful testing of the restored VCB panel on full load is included in the job.
