REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF OLD DEFECTIVE HT CABLES BUSBAR PANELS JOINT KITS GODs AND ALLIED WORKS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS AT GE AF SRINAGAR

M&L for dismantling of old defective insulators any type complete all as sopecified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for dismentling of old air break gang operated switches vertical mounted including insulators and operating mechanism complete all as sopecified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for dismantling cross-arms of M.S. channel or angle sections etc. from poles complete all as specified and directed by Engr - in- Charge.

M&L for cutting the existing Bituminous / Hard Standing road surface for laying of cable / GI Pipe etc and providing Plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B2, using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for filling up the area of road cutting surfaces and making good the disturbed surface with existing surface and all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- Excavation earthwork and PCC will be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Excavating in trenches n.exc. 1.5m wide and n.exc. 1.5m in depth for laying of LT UG cable, pipe, pole, stay etc and n exc 10sqm on plan and getting out in soft and loose soil including taking out and removal of old bricks laid over for protection of cable all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr and deposting where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 mtr above the starting point.

Returing filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm each all as required and directed.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1, flat unreinforced of size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm for protecton of cable abutting each laid dry flat width equal to the lenth of cable cover etc complete all as spd and directed.

Supply and spreading sand as earth cushioning to cable by using IS sieve to separate the composite particle/roots etc and refilling in trenches and compacted in layers to form a solid bed covering to cable all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement GI tubing light grade 100 mm bore cut to size and fixed along the pole for cable protection including clamp 02 Nos of size 25x4 mm, nut bolts , washers etc complete all as required at site or directed by Engr in Charge.

Material and labour for detection of any type of fault on HT 2/4 pole structure at sub stn and reapir/ replacement of blown out HT fusese and restore the HT supply of all feeder. Locations and timing to attend the repair wk all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : 1. Material reqd for repair and replacement such as fuse wire will be included in quoted rate. 2. Proper shut down shall be taken from MES auth before any HT repair wk. 3. All safety measure will be resposibility of contractor.

Material and labour for detection of any type of fault in HT underground cable (laid in soil at plane area or forest area) with the help of Cable fault locator machine. Cable fault locator with carring vehicle will be brought by the cable fault detection agencies. Span of faulty cable will be trace out by the agencies by meggering HT cable. Note : 1. Detection of fault in one span of length will be measured as Each Job. 2. Technicians will be employed by the working agencies. 3. Earth work and taking out will be measured and paid seperately. 4. Material for repair and replacement will be measured and paid saperately. 5. One job shall be measured if the fault has successfully rectified by the fault locator machine and Technician.

Taking out old defective UNSV HT cable from site complete all as sopecified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply, laying in trenches or fixed to wall / pole or passing through pipes or road crossing, testing and commissioning of HT XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with alumn conductor, 11KV grade, suitable for earthed system, with aluminium conductor of size 120 Sqmm 3 core incuding taking down unserviceable HT cable of any type / size/ description , etc complete all specified and directed. (Note : Excavation & Earth work shall be measured and paid sepratley.)

Material and labour for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape ors size as indicated or directed and inclusive of oneprimer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of alumn paint.

Material and labour in replacement of cable end termination out door, heat shrinkable type suitable for XLPE cable of size 95 sqmm 3 core with working voltage 11000 volts with jointing matrial and accessories including testing etc complete all as spd and directed.

Material and labour in replacement of cable end termination out door, heat shrinkable type suitable for XLPE cable of size 120 Sqmm to 185 sqmm 3 core with working voltage 11000 volts with jointing matrial and accessories including testing etc complete all as spd and directed.

Material and labour in replacement of Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with joining material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 Sqmm to 95 sqmm 3 core with working voltage 11000 volts complete all as specified and direced by Engr - in- Charge.

Material and labour in replacement of Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with joining material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 sqmm to 185 sqmm 3 core with working voltage 11000 volts complete all as specified and direced by Engr - in- Charge.

S & F in replacement of Lightning arresters expulsion type (Set of Three) complete with all fittings, Distribution class, discharge capacity 65 kilo amp complete all as per following specifications :- and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for Painting of HT steel tubular 4 pole structure of complete lenght, by applying one coat of white cement based paint after scraping / brushing and cleaning the Algae on pole and cross arms and a coat of white synthetic enamel painting to pole upto 1.5 mtr from ground level shall be painted by alternate layer of black and Yellow enamel paint (30 cms apart) and Two coat of aluminium painting shall be done on Cross arm and bracing, nut, bolts and washers etc after prep of surfaces all as directed by Engr in charge. Note - one 4 pole structure measured as one job inclusive of HT poles and cross arms complete.

Material and labour for Servicing & Repairs to Air-break switch (isolator) off load, rotating type, 11 KV, upto 400 Amps capacity, with proper alignment of isolator blades, copper flexible jumper fixed and moving contacts with arching horns, applying petroleum jelly to moving mechanism, cleaning and lubricating to isolator assembly, tightening all nuts, bolts and clamps of jumpers etc, repairing to isolator assembly and making in proper serviceable condition for smooth functioning, testing and commissioning on load complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Cost of all spares reqd for repair such as fixed and moving contacts, arching horns and copper flexible jumper etc.shall be included in the quoted rate.

M & L in replaceement switch Air break gang operated triple pole mounted on porcelain insulators 15 Nos 11 KV 400 Amps DO fuse set with AB switch porcelain and steel frame with operating mechanism with 20 mm dia GI pipe (Medium grade) worked from ground level complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 19021Ditto, 150mm height, 150mm dia for 11000 volts grade complete all as sopecified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S & F in replacement of Cable route indicators. The cable route indicators comprises for the followings complete all as sopecified and directed by Engr-in-charge.:- Note ;- 1. The cable indicator shall be made up of CI round 100 mm dia welded fitted with MS angle Iron 40x40x6 mm, 45 CM long. The angle shall be grouted in PCC block 1:3:6 of size 150x150x150mm. The CI round shall be embossed with the work " MES HT Cables". 2. The unit rate of S & F of Cable indicators shall be deemed to included the above provision complete.

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of totally enclosed outdoor type factory fabricated HT Busbar Panel weldless cubical Kiosk in modular bolted construction type dust and vermin proof equal angle iron mounted type (IP-65 degree of protection) made out of 3 mm thick CRCA sheet. All sheet metal parts separately chemically treated with 7 tank treatment process. The panel having both side opening door with locking arrangement (HT bus bar door lock should be easy openable, Brass knob type with comfirtabley gripped PVC head nut) all doors fixed with steel higes (door should be open from left hand side to right hand side) duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint powder coated, mounted on iron angle frame made out of 50 X 50X 6 mm frame with 4 No's of legs size not less than 50 cms (bottom portion of the panel wrt normal ground level) fixed with nut bolts of suitable size, grouted by using foundation 1:2:4 type C1 with 20 mm graded stone aggregates totally tested as per IEC 61439-I, incl taking down old unsv bus ba rpanel and including the following :- Busbar Details ;- Rated voltage :- 11 KV, 50 Hz. Enclosure Details :- Installation of HT Busbar - Outdoor Type (Angle Iron Legs mounted). HT Busbar Dimention (L x W x H) - 1200 x 900 x 750mm Busbar Details ;- Busbar Material - Aluminium. Busbar strips arrangemets - Horizontally fixed. Buabar insulation Materail - Bare. Busbar position - Edge mounted Bars. Busbar Size :- Busbar Width - 100 mm Busbar Thickness - 10 mm Number of Busbar - 03 Busbar Length per Phase - 500 mm, duly drilled holes for connections and mounted on epoxy resin cast HT support insulators for busbar support.

M&L for Earthing complete with using GI earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level and earth plate surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness off 15 cm all around the plate with using galvanised iron strip 32x6mm as earthing lead moulded and retreived to earth plate at one end and connected to main switch / control board at another end with and including 15 mm dia GI light grade from upper end of earth plate upto external face of the wall of the building including 20 mm dia bore GI pipe light grade as water pipe from chamber to upper edge of the plate GI funnel with wire mess fixed on water pipe and provison of PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (Using 20 mm Dia graded stone aggregate) duly reinforced with mild steel round bar 6 mm dia @ 150 mm c/c both ways with 10 mm dia mild steel bars as in lifting handle with and including necessarry excavation and earth work including laying the pipe concealed in floor / wall allas per plate NO-3 of SSR Part-I complete all as specified and directed and testing on completiopn (Note:- If the desired resistance is not found earthing shall be done by the contractor at no extra cost to Govt).
