(viii) MISC: Tool kit, Operation and Maintenance catalogue, spare part list, overhauling manuals, guarantee card etc shall be provided as per manufacturer standard practices.
Condt from Item No.38.00 here-in-before Notes: (i) The unit rate includes for protection pipe and earth lead upto 7.50 meter. (ii) Any variation in length of earth lead and protection pipe beyond 7.5 m shall be measured separately. (iii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit and the extra cost of additional height of watering pipe bends elbow etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. (iv) All earthing should be interconnected. Earth lead for interconnection shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item. CRANE Design, Supply, install, commissioning and testing of flameproof EOT Crane duly class M5, Double girder type having span of 15 meter, long travel 18 m , hook height 4.5 m and weight lifting capacity 5 Ton considering the following conditions complete all as specified and directed :- (i) Internal dimension of bldg is 18m X 15m X 5.9M. (ii) Clear hook height available from FFL is 4.5m. (iii) The operation and micro speed of crane should be as following: (a) Main Hoist:- 3-4 meter/min (b) Micro in main Hoist - 0.3-0.4 meter/min (c) Cross travel – 5 meter/min (d) Micro in cross travel - 0.5 meter/min (e) Long travel - 10-15 meter/min (f) Micro in long travel – 1 meter/min (iv) EOT crane fitted should be fire/flame proof and comply with the safety specification given in the STEC PAMPHLET No. 7. (v) EOT crane fittings should be comply with the safety specification such as limit switches, alarm, guards, isolating switches, emergency stop button and interlocking, power and control cabling complete etc confirming to IS-807, IS-3177, IS-3938 specifications. (vi) Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of crane shall be undertaken through manufactures/ specialist firms. (vii) Design of crane and proof checking of design from any of chartered Engineers within 2 months from the date of acceptance of tender. (viii) Crane fabricator to verify the exact internal dimensions of the building physically before starting fabrication of the crane. (ix) VVVF Drive to be provided.
Condt from Item No.43.00 here-in-before Notes:- 1. The designs and drawings of the cranes shall be vetted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) 2. The actual span of the crane shall be taken from the site before fabrication. 3. The rails shall be aligned and leveled for smooth operation. 4. M & L Cutting old construction joint size 20mm x 50mm by mechanical cutter, cleaning the joints to remove all loose dust, dirt, oil and grease. The excessive laitance be removed by vaccum cleaning . Applying epoxy primer Nitoprime 25 and filling the joint in two part with epoxy resin primer Nitflor TF5000 or equivalent and then laying 3 to 6 mm screed by trowel to achieve all the tests complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for Preparation/cleaning the old flooring surface, making the surface contamination free such as oil, grease, mortar and paint splashes by grinding the surface and scrifying the whole surface. All surface should be made dust, free by vaccum and cleaning the same. The Process to be completed with following steps :- (a) Application of primer : Supply and application of primer Nitoprime 25, after thoroughly mixing the base and hardener using a heavy duty slow speed drilling machine fitted with a paddle until a homogeneous mix is obtained, over the prepared surface to in a thin continuous film using a stiff brush/roller. (b) Application of Screed : Supply and application of Nitoflor TF5000 screed after mixing the base, hardener, and filler until a homogeneous, lump free mix is obtained. The mixed hardener material is poured on the primed surface and spread slowly and evenly to a thickness of 3 mm using a serrated steel trowel. The material should be tamped with a wooden float to ensure complete compaction and finally finished to a closed even texture using a steel trowel. Screeding rods are useful to maintain a minimum compacted thickness of 3 mm. The flooring system will have compressive strength of 70 N/mm2 with tensile strength 14 N/mm2 with flexural strength 25 N/mm2. (c) Providing Earthing : After the primer has achieved a tack free state, apply proper earthing and joint connections

The mixed material is poured on the primed surface and spread slowly and evenly to a thickness of 2 mm using a serrated steel trowel. Immediately after spreading, the floor should be firmly rolled with a spike roller to release any entrapped air and level any slight trowel marks. The flooring system will have compressive strength of 50 N/mm2 with tensile strength 16 N/mm2 with flexural strength 34 N/mm2 and temperature resistance upto 80 degree centigrade.
Note:- Schedule of credit (Sch 'A' Part- XVI) amount of Rs 1,52,177.10 shall be deducted from the total quoted amount of BOQ.
