Removing the old cured selant from edges, grinding to neat finish, cleaning the debris and providing suitable size backup rod of approved make, filling joints with approved sealing compound ( confirming to grade BS:5212 Part-I, 1990)including painting the sides of slab with approved appropriate primer (0.26 ltr/sqm ) to receive the specified sealing compound, providing and applying masking tape on top edges of joint to prevent accidental spollage of sealent on top surface and to give a neat finish to the sealent has been applied and tooled, all complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.(Sealing compound paid extra) sealent body in the joint shall be 8 mm wide & 13 mm depth for dummy joints, including taking away all the dismantled materials from the AAI Premises.

Supplying of packed Elastomeric concrete compound (choksey chemicals or equivalesnt) at site. The one pack of 10 Kg of Elastomeric concrete shall consist of 3 Kg. hardener, 1.5 Kg. based & 5.5 Kg. of sand & fiber power as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Supplying of primer of Elastimeric concrete compound at site as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Laying of Elastomeric concrete compound after demarcation, cutting, chipping the concrete up to required depth & with, side locking on the vertical face, cleaning the prepared area by blower, masking and pouring the compound, finishing & texturing complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Painting runway/taxi track/apron marking with adequate nos of coats to give uniform finish with road marking paint of superior make as approved by the Engineer-incharge, i/c cleaning the surface of ail dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign mater;al etc. and lining out complete Old work (One or more coats)
