REPAIRS/ RESURFACING OF BITUMINOUS ROADS AND ROAD FURNITURE IN TECH AREA, VSV, MES COLONY, OFFICE AREA, DOMESTIC AREA OF AF STN TUGHLAKABAD AND DGQA BADARPUR AREA UNDER GE (AF) TUGHLAKABAD

Material and Labour for repairs to pot holes area n.exc. 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat with bitumen of grade VG 10 @5 kg/ 10 Sqm, putting in premixed as specified for thin bituminous carpet (2 cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8kg of binder with 0.06 cum of sand), again well rammed (including supply of premixed binder and sand) depth of potholes nexc 30mm rolled with power road roller of 08 to 10 tonne capacity complete all as specified.

Material and Labour for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags or compressed air to remove all loose dirt etc on black top surfaces incl applying evenly a priming /tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen of grade VG10 @ 5Kg/10 Sqm on existing black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for bituminious premix Semi-Dense Asphaltic Concrete 30mm (consolidated thickness) using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, mixed in Computerised Hot Mix Plant and spread by means of Self Propelled Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using mechanical power road roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity as specified and as directed. Note : (i) The actual requirement of binder shall be as per job mix design and the tests specified. However, quantity of bitument from the mix design if found more than specified 5.5% same shall be provided with no extra cost to the Govt. In case binder content found to be less than 5.5% as per mix design as specified in Sch 'A' shall be adjusted @ the rate of 65.00/kg for the less qty of bitumen used. The qty of 5.5% mentioned is exclusive of any wastage and no wastage shall be taken into account for the purpose of above adjustment. (ii) The work shall be strictly carried out by using mechanical/ sensor paver only. (ii) The design mix shall be carried out from IIT/NIT/Govt Insitution or NABL accredited Lab apporved by E-in-C and quoted rate shall be inclusive of the same. Work will be allowed only after approval of Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) Design Mix. (iii) Contractor shall arrange bitumen extraction test at site during execution of SDAC work. The copy of same shall be fwd to this HQ. (iv) The copy of PV shall be submitted by cotractor for claiming payment in RAR. In case of non submission of the same, the payment shall not be made. Enigineer-in-Charge shall be responsible for ascertaining the genuineness of the Purchase Voucher(s).

Material and Labour for premix bituminous macadam consolidated thickness, 75 mm or less, using 4% binder i.e. paving bitumen grade VG-30 by weight or total mix, and aggregate mixed in computerized hot mix plant, laid rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with the help of mechanical paver and power roller 8 to 10 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of modular reflective speed breaker / rumble strip, size approx. 245 × 350 × 50 mm, made of UV-stabilized ABS/rubber/composite material, black-yellow combination, with embedded reflective lenses/strips, anti-skid surface, suitable anchor bolts/fasteners, drilling, fixing, alignment, end caps wherever required, complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (attach IRC:99 for speed breaker geometry and traffic calming; manufacturer data sheet for load rating.).

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3(1 cement : 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more thant 5mm) including making drainage opening wherever required including demolition of kerb stone complete all spfd and directed.

Material and Labour for two coats of cement base paint over one coat of primer incl preparation of new surface of road side kerb stone/culvert etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for complete removal of exiting paint/color and applying two coats of cement base paint over one coat of primer on road side kerb stone/culvert in any pattern all as directed.

Preparation of road surface by cleaning, removing dust/oil/loose particles, applying primer where required, and laying hot-applied thermoplastic road marking compound of minimum 2.5 mm thickness or as specified, in white/yellow colour, in centre line/edge line/stop line/zebra/hatching as directed, including intermix glass beads and drop-on glass beads, titanium dioxide/pigment/filler/binder conforming to MoRTH Specification Clause 803/804 requirements, complete with heating, application, finishing and traffic safety arrangement.
