REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF EARTHING WITH MAINT FREE CHEMICAL EARTHING, GLOW SIGN BOARD LIGHTENING PROTECTIONS AND OTHER CONNECTED WORK AT CME UNDER GE (CME) KHADKI

M&L for taking out old unsv earthing and material and labour for maintenance free grounding Solution set earthing comprising of Earthing rod , outer pipe in GI and having minimum diameter of 76mm, 3m in length and inner pipe to have minimum diameter of 32mm, both end properly welded to make them airtight. GI terminal size of 100x50x6mm with 2 Nos M8 holes for termination area in between two pipes filled with dry type chemical powder having high conductivity and make sure no air pockets are left. Electrode must be tested for short circuit test of minimum 40 KA at CPRI/NABL. The earthing electrode will be placed in the ground after a bore is drilled to the depth of 3.5 Mtr. The bore drilling will be done with the help of Pneumatic boring machine, 50 Kgs BFC will be placed in the bore to cover the earthing rod from all sides. BFC will be poured in Slurry form in properly mixed condition. The Earth pit cover Square 300x300x240 mm to be provided to cover the earth Pit and shall be made of reinforced FRP and should be capable of carrying the weight of 5 Tons. Make : U-PROTEC or equivalent in Ashlok earthings/JEF technology. NOTE :- (a) Rates of boring 3 Mtr for earth electrode, GI strip 20x3.15mm , 25x3.15mm, 32X6mm & 40 mm dia protection pipe upto 7.5 Mtr from earth electrode is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (b) On testing, after, after completion, if the earth resistance <3 ohms is not obtained, earthing will be rejuvenated at no extra cost till the desired earth resistance is obtained. (c) Test certificate from the OEM has to be produced by the contractorfor the material used in earthing. (d)Purchase Voucher and Test certificate for earthing chemical/compound shall need to be submitted along with RAR/Final Bill for payment.

Supplying and fixing in replacement Copper strip 20 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complee all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing in replacement aluminium strip 25 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement post insulator epoxy LV type suitable for aluminium/GI/copper strip 25 x 4, mm lightening conductor fixed on wall/roof/pole including screw and taking out existing insulator complete all as specified and as directed.
