Conducting soil investigation tests as per AAI specification for the "Airfield pavements" (proposed construction of apron , taxiways, isolation bay etc ) by drilling 100mm dia bore holes in all kinds of soil, spacing of bore holes between maximum at 70m intervals for runways & taxiways & boring per 930 sqm of area for other areas of pavement upto a maximum depth of 3.5m or upto hard/ refusal (rock) strata, where N value is exceeding 50 , whichever is met earlier. The item of activities & tests to be carried out as per SOQ, Page-18
Conducting soil investigation tests as per AAI specifications for the building (proposed construction of Terminal building ,Fire station , ATC tower cum technical block) by drilling 100mm dia bore holes in all kinds of soil upto a maximum depth of 25m or upto hard strata, where N value is exceeding 50 /100 , whichever is met earlier. The item of activities & tests to be carried out as per SOQ, Page-19 (Note : - If hard strata is encountered at a shallow depth of 2.5m from the existing ground level, minimum no of bore holes to be extended to the required depth asper the AAI specifications (Annexure-I) and as per the direction of EIC)
Conducting soil investigation tests as per AAI specification for the "Operational Boundary Wall" (proposed construction of compound wall - Ph-II) by drilling 100mm dia bore holes at maximum spacing of 500m, in all kinds of soil upto a maximum depth of 4m or upto hard strata, where N value is exceeding 50 , whichever is met earlier.The item of activities & tests to be carried out as per SOQ, Page-20 (Note : - If hard strata is encountered at a shallow depth of 2.5m from the existing ground level, minimum no of bore holes to be extended to the required depth asper the AAI specifications (Annexure-I) and as per the direction of EIC)
Conducting Plate Load Test for determination of Modulus of subgrade reaction (K-value) , determination of field density , moisture content and assessing K value after making necessary corrections for load deflection curve , bending of plates and saturation as per IS 9214:1979 (reaffirmed 1997) including loading field test , laboratory test on soil preparation of test site including necessary excavation , refilling of test trench after test & cost of load truck including loading the earth in the truck etc.
Conducting Lab CBR test of soil sample at proposed sub grade level as per AAI specification.
Boring/drilling bore well of required dia for casing/ strainer pipe, by suitable method prescribed in IS: 2800 (part I), including collecting samples from different strata, preparing and submitting strata chart/ bore log, including hire & running charges of all equipments, tools, plants & machineries required for the job, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, upto 90 metre depth below ground level.
a) All types of soil 300 mm dia metre
b) Rocky strata including Boulders 300 mm dia metre
Supplying, filling, spreading & leveling stone boulders of size range 5 cm to 20 cm, in recharge pit, in the required thickness, for all leads & lifts, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
