Supply, install, testing and commissioning of maintenance free chemical earth pit (Tripod Chemical Earthing) made of "Grid" chemical earth enhancing, non-ferrous compound containing no carbon or graphite which include (i) Three Nos 3000mm long 50mm dia copper bonded "Earth Electrode" prefilled with compound and stainless steel fasters, HDPE lockable earthpit cover cum inspection chamber along with 150 Kgs of Earth Enhancement, high conductive, corrosion resistant, non ferrous compound containing no carbon or graphite including bore hole of 150-200 mm and depth upto 3.3 mtr (approx). (ii) Copper earthing strip 25x3mm for interconnection comprete with GI light grade protection pipe 32 mm dia of all three pits alongwith necessary clamps and nuts bolts and proper brazing. (iii) Any other accessories including design modification to achieve the required earth termination rod resistance valve below 1 ohms or as per the OEM/International Standard recommendation (iv) Mark earth result and date with paint (v) Ohms or as per the OEM / International standard recommendation. Make : Tercel/Erico/Aes Gel earthing Solutions/ Indelec as approved by GE.

Supply and Laying of down conductor ISI marked 70 Sq mm PVC insulated copper flexible wire including both end termination, suitable size cable clamps etc, from test point upto the tesst link.

S&F 25x3 copper strip on surface or in recess for connections etc including both end termination, suitable size clamps etc from equipment to the Earth pit terminal /Earth test link through spacers to avoid contact with building.

S&F test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8 mm dia 25 mm long hex head screw.

Supply, laying, jointing & testing of underground LT cables XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, aluminium conductors, multistranded, armoured heavy duty 1100 Volt grade cross sectional area 16 Sqmm 4 core laid in trenches/ducts/along poles/through pipe under road etc with new aluminium lugs including taking out Note :- (i) Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, protection cover and pipe shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of this schedule. (ii)Fastner,clip etc minor spare parts including in quoted rate

Excavation in trenches/Pits in any type of soil (soft/loose soil), n.exc. 1.5M wide and n.exc. 1.5M deep and getting out complete, all as specified & directed .

Returning filling in with the earth obtained from Item No 2 here-in-before including spreading, leveling and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25cm thick complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and spreading clean and dry sand (unwashed) in trenches around the cable for cushioning all as specified & directed

Removal of surplus excavated material to a distance n.exc. 50 Mtr and depositing where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5 Mtr above starting point complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and laying sub class 'B' bricks (Old Size) laid flat in trenches as cable covers all as specified and directed.

S& F Pipes galvanized iron , “Light Grade ”, complete including fittings 40 mm dia all as specified & directed .

M& L for boring holes (manually) under road ,hard standing,without damaging surface for 50 mm dia GI pipe etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 x 60 cm x 6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron wire 4mm dia as earth lead wire by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in Electrical plate No. 3, MES SSR Part I- 2009 with 15 mm dia medium grade GI pipe as a protection to earthing lead and 20 mm dia medium grade GI pipe for watering purpose including excavation & earth work in any type of soil, funnel, wire mesh, RCC pit with cover, cast iron frame complete and connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion. Notes (i) The concrete pit shall be PCC (1:3:6) type C-1, 40mm thick precast cover slab of RCC with suitable Mild steel handle in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I (ii) PCC pit shall be provide at least 500 mm away from the earth pit and not on just on the eath pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fittings junction etc shall be deemed to be included in the rate. (iii) Item includes the cost of 7.5 metre earth lead wire and GI pipe for protection of earth wire. Any varriation in quantity shall be adjusted.

S&F Factory made epoxy powder coated Vertical load line distribution boards (VTPN) 4 ways 415 Volt grade with doubled door with acrylec top cover (IP-43 protection) fabricated from minimum 1.6mm thick CRCA sheet and fixed flush to wall and suitable for universal mounting and including 200 Amp copper bus bar netrual bar standard DIN rail. Earth bar and cable ties for cable manangement . top and bottom removable gland plates with Knockouts complete all as specified and directed (Make Legrand/L&T/ABB) Note: MCB/MCCBs shall be measured and paid seperatly under respective item of this schedule.

M& L for sub main wiring with 2 run of single core PVC insulated and PVC Unsheathed, multistranded copper condutor of nominal area 6 sqmm 1100 Volts grade cable drawn into and including rigid non metalic PVC Conduit of including all fittings and one run of PVC insulated and PVC unsheathed, multistranded copper conductor of nominal area 4 sqmm 1100 volts grade cable continuous earth wire of green colour code complete. Note:- (a) Two runs of 6.0 sqmm cable and one run of 4 Sqmm cable as earth lead with conduit shall be measured as one unit length for payment. (b) Quoted rate shall deem to be included cost of cutting chasses in wall for concealling conduit and making good to match with existing finish.

S&F factory made epoxy coated Distribution Board SPN 8 Ways 240 volt grade ( SPN MCB DB) with double door ( IP-43 protection) fabricated from minimum 1.6 mm thick CRCA sheet and fixed flush to wall and suitable for universal mounting and including 200 Amps copper bus bar , neutral bar , standard DIN rail , Earth bar and cable ties for cable management , top and bottom removable gland plates with knockouts complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing 240V, 10 KA 'C' curve miniature circuit breaker (MCB) of single poles and current carrying capacity 5 to 32 AMP, in the MCB DB Complete with connection testing and commissioning.

Supply and fixing 240V, 10 KA 'C' curve miniature circuit breaker (MCB) of single poles & Neutral and current carrying capacity 40 to 63 AMP, in the MCB DB Complete with connection testing and commissioning.

Taking down carefully aluminium batten point, wiring for light/fan/socket/bell or power point including. All fittings i.e. switch, sockets, ceiling rose, regulators, batten holders, etc. Complete and making good disturbed surfaces of wall/floor to match with the surroundings of wall/ceiling/floor etc including taking down old light fittings. Note :- (i) Contractors quoted rate of this item deemed inclusive of unscrewing of the serviceable fittings and fixture as directed and deposit in MES store yard. (ii) Quoted rate also deem to be included cost of cutting chases for taking out concealed conduit and nitch for terminal box. (iii) Decision of GE shall be final and binding in respect of serviceability of fittings/fixture. (iv) Exhaust fan and ceiling fan shall be taken down in under separate item of this schedule.

M & L for point wiring with PVC insulated, PVC unsheathed cable single core, nominal area 1.5 sq mm with stranded copper conductor 1100 volts grade drawn into and incl rigid PVC conduit (concealed) 19 mm internal dia with all PVC conduit fittings such as Tees, elbows, bend, reducers etc and 1.5 sq mm unsheathed copper conductor earth wire connected to earth dolly incl metal junction box ,grid plate,base plate suitable for modular switches, sockets, regulators. Note- (1) The rates of chase cutting on wall concealing conduit and steel terminal boxes are included in the unit rates.(2) colour code of wire will be strictly followed , Red for Phase , Black for neutral and green for earth wire(3) Switches & sockets shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for cutting holes in brick walls built in cement or cement lime mortar for inserting hold fasts, etc and making good dismantled portion in cement mortar 1:3 cutting not exceeding half brick complete all as specified and direcdted

M&L for mild steel conforming to Fe 410-0 or Fe 310-0 in bands, straps, supports or stays for rain water, including bolts, if required, hook and pintle hinges, hand smade sliding bolts, clamps, hold fasts, hooks for hanging fans and similar small articles complete all as specified and direcdted.

S&F for Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50 mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and direcdted

M&L for preparing new or previously untreated steel & iron surfaces of any description over 10 CM in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over & including a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and direcdted.

M&L for washed stone grit plaster on exterior walls in two layers, under layer 12 mm cement plaster 1:4 (1 cement 4 coarse sand) furrowing the under layer with scratching tool, applying cement slurry on the under layer @ 3 Kg of cement per square metre, top layer 15 mm cement plaster 1:1/2:2 (1 cement : 1/2 coarse sand : s stone chipping 10mm nominal size) in panels with groove all around as per approved pattern including scrubbing and washing, the top layer with brushes and water to expose the stone chippings complete all as specified (Payment for providing grooves shall be made separately).

M&L forming groove of uniform size 15mm wide and 15mm deep in the top layer of washed stone grit plaster as per approved pattern using wooden battens, nailed to the under layer including removal of wooden battens, repair to the edges of panels and finishing the groove complete as per specifications and dirction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Note :- Credit shown in credit schedule of tender document shall be considered by the tenderer while quoting the rates of various items. The same shall be recovered from various payment to contractor before handing over old material.
