Construction of OCR complex for IB unit at Mahoba UP SH Soil Investigation

Transportation/mobilization of equipments and personnel (to & fro). Preparation and submission of 3 set of test reports incorporating all field and laboratory data to elaborate the engineering characteristics of sub stratum including recommendation of depth, type and safe allowable bearing capacity for the foundation.

Drilling hole of minimum 150 mm dia by percussion of rotary method up to required depth or refusal whichever met earlier in all type of strata (Refusal shall means when N value 100 for 30 cms. of penetration) as per direction of engineer-in-charge conducting standard penetration tests at every 1.5 m depth, collection disturbed and undisturbed soil samples at 2.5 m interval or where strata changes, carrying out grain size analysis, atterberg limits, hydrometer analysis, unconfined compressive strength, triaxial shear tests, consolidation test, free swell index etc. and any other necessary test required for determination for safe bearing capacity and suggestion of suitable foundation type on the soil samples obtained from the bore holes as per relevant IS Code for the computation of safe bearing capacity.
