Bill No. 4 Traffic Signs, Markings and Road Appurtenances, Road Safety & Road Furniture

Providing and Laying hot applied thermoplastic road marking strip on Bituminous Surface of specified shade/ colour of 2.5 mm thick including 1.5 Refractive index reflectorizing glass beads @ 250gm/sqm .Thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC 35:2015. Initial Dry reflectivity RL shall be > 250 mcd/sqm/lux measured in the initial 7 days and sustained reflectivity RL of 100 mcd/sqm/ lux and Qd of 100 mcd/sqm/ lux measured at the end of 2 years by means of a Standard Reflectometer of Zehntner, Easylux, Delta make capable of measuring RL & QD both according to IRC 35:2015 clause 15.5. The finished surface to be level, uniform, and free from streaks and holes complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and in accordance with applicable specifications.(Refer MORTH Clause 803 for technical Specification and Performance for IRC 35:2015).

Providing and Fixing 'Logo' of MMGSY Project Providing and fixing of typical MMGSY informatory sign board with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS Plates of 1.6 mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5m size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 75mm x 75 mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, 600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. All M.S. will be stove enamelled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1

Providing and Fixing of Retro Reflectorised direction & place identification sign boards made out of retro reflective sheeting of High Intensity prismatic grade conforming to IRC-67: 2012 & Type IV standards of ASTM D4956-09 specifications, fixed over 4 mm thick ACP sheet supported with Back support frame of 35x35x5mm mild steel angle with areas not exceeding 0.9 sqm. Sign Board of MMGSY Project Information: Providing and fixing of typical retro reflective MMGSY Project informatory sign board with Logo as per section 1700 of MORD specifications and latest MMGSY Signage Manual Circuler and drawing. The board will be a composite unit consisting of Three Plates ACP (Aluminum Composite Panel), material specificaitons as per clause 17001.3. The top most plate will be of 3mm ACP in diamond shape of 600x600mm size, riveted with MS angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx5mm size on back on edges. The middle 4mm ACP plate of will be 1200x150mm size riveted with MS angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx5mm size on back on edges. The main 4mm ACP lower most plate will be 1500mmx600mm size, riveted with MS angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx5mm size. Riveting of all the sheets over angle and flat iron frame will be done neatly to have plain surface on one side. The angle iron frame of lower most plate and flat iron frame of the middle plate will be welded to two nos. 75mm x75mm x 12 swg sheet tubes posts placed at 1125mm apart centre to centre. the top of the middle plate will be flushed with the top of 75mm dia medium steel tube posts and these posts will be embeded in cement concrete M15 grade block of 450x450x600mm below ground level. The height of the bottom of the lower plate will be 1200mm from normal ground level and the bottom of the middle plate will be 100mm above the top level of the lower most plate. the diamond shaped plate mounted over flat angle iron frame will be connected to middle plate by square steel section of 47mmx47mm, thickness 12SWG having a spacing of 100mm between the diamond shaped plate and middle plate and this square section will be riveted to the bottom point of the diamond shaped plate. MMGSY logo, letters and numerals on the ACP should be made up of Retro Reflective sheeting of Class-A / Class-B grade as per the latest MORD section 1700 specifications (Refer Circuler no. Supplying and Fixing of Molded Shank Raised Pavement Markers / Cat's Eye made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000Kilogramtested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97 DO III Dt 11.06. 1997 The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mm, 100 mm and 102 +/- 2 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kilogram. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 75mm x 75 mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, 600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. Providing and Fixing of Retro Reflectorised 900mm Cautionary sign boards made out of retro reflective sheeting of High Intensity prismatic grade conforming to IRC-67: 2012 & Type IV standards of ASTM D4956-09 specifications, fixed over 4mm thick ACP sheet supported with Back support frame of 25x25x3mm mild steel angle as approved , supported on a mild steel angle iron post 65 mm X 65 mm X 6 mm - 3.5 mtr height, firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M20 grade cement concrete 45 cm X 45 cm X 60 cm , 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing. Both border & background shall be retro reflective as per Type IV standards. 7 years Warranty for Retro Reflective Sheeting from the original sheeting manufacturer & a certified copy of three years outdoor exposure report from an independent test lab for the product offered shall be submitted by the contractor(Bottom of the board shall be at least 2.6 mtr. above ground level) Specification: IRC 67:2012. There shall be a stamp behind the ACP sheet carrying the name of the supplier, Name of sheeting Manufacturer, Type of retro reflective sheeting, Installation month & year, Warranty period for retro reflective sheeting.

Two ACP (Aluminum Composite Panel) sheets of 4 mm thick, of 900 mm x 750mm size fixed at top & bottom duly rivetted with MS angles of 35 x 35 x 5 mm thick M.S angle shall be welded by two vertical M.S angle of 5 mm thick to 75 mm x 75 mm of 12 SWG square tubes / 75mm Dia Pipe posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-20 grade blocks of 600mm x 600mm x 75mm, below ground level. MMGSY / PMGSY logo, letters and numerals on the ACP should be made up of Retro Reflective sheeting of Class-A / Class-B grade as per the latest MORD section 1700 specifications (Refer Circular no. Supplying and Fixing of Molded Shank Raised Pavement Markers/Cat'sEye made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with microprismatic lens capable of providing to talinternal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000kg test edin accordance to ASTMD4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular NoRW/NH/33023/10-97 DOIII Dt11.06.1997. Theheight,width and length shall not exceed 50mm,100mm and 102+/- minimum reflective area of 13Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35+/-5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes onthe road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer. The contractor shall submit at wo year warranty for satisfactory field per formance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the reflecting panel, to the Engineer.

Standard Metal Delineator Supply and Installation of Road delienators ( Road way Delienators ) as per MORT&H clause 806.The structure shall be manufactured in roll forming process and shall have height not less than 800 mm above the ground, width not less than 100 mm and shall extend not more than 300mm below the ground while being installed in confirmation with IRC:79 1981or as directed by engineer in charge.The delineator shall be painted with powder coat of minimum 40 microns thickness for protection against corrosion, on top of which Type XI retro reflective sheeting shall be pasted on both sides. The delienator shall consist minimum retro reflective unit exposed area of 330 cm2 white color, full cube corner micro prismatic non-metallic retro reflective sheeting on each side conforming with IRC 67 2012 and meeting the coefficient of retro reflection values as per ASTM D 4956 Type XI table specification.The front and back faces of the delineator should be curved with a radius of not more than 200 mm and with delta angle (or central angle of curve) lying between 20o and 30o, to increase the visibility of the delineator for vehicles moving in continuous curves. The delineator shall have grooves across the length to make the reflective sheets vandal-proof.

Sign Board of PMGSY Project Information : Providing and fixing of typical retro reflective PMGSY Project informatory sign board with Logo as per section1700 of MORD specifications and latest PMGSY Signage Manual / Circuler and drawing. The board will be a composite unit consisting of Three Plates ACP (Aluminum Composite Panel), material specificaitons as per clause 17001.3. The top most plate will be of 3mm ACP in diamond shape of 600x600mm size, riveted with MS angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx5mm size on back on edges. The middle 4mm ACP plate of will be 1200x150mm size riveted with MS angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx5mm size on back on edges. The main 4mm ACP lower most plate will be 1500mmx600mm size, riveted with MS angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx5mm size. Riveting of all the sheets over angle and flat iron frame will be done neatly to have plain surface on one side. The angle iron frame of lower most plate and flat iron frame of the middle plate will be welded to two nos. 75mm x75mm x 12 swg sheet tubes posts placed at 1125mm apart centre to centre. the top of the middle plate will be flushed with the top of 75mm dia medium steel tube posts and these posts will be embeded in cement concrete M15 grade block of 450x450x600mm below ground level. The height of the bottom of the lower plate will be 1200mm from normal ground level and the bottom of the middle plate will be 100mm above the top level of the lower most plate. the diamond shaped plate mounted over flat angle iron frame will be connected to middle plate by square steel section of 47mmx47mm, thickness 12SWG having a spacing of 100mm between the diamond shaped plate and middle plate and this square section will be riveted to the bottom point of the diamond shaped plate. PMGSY logo, letters and numerals on the ACP should be made up of Retro Reflective sheeting of Class-A / Class-B grade as per the latest MORD section 1700 specifications (Refer Circuler no.
