REPAIR TO LEAKAGE/SEEPAGE, SUNKEN, TANK CLEANING AND OTHER CONNECTED ITEMS IN OTM ACCN OTHER THAN MH GWALIOR UNDER AGE B/R P OF GE GWALIOR

Taking down of old roof treatment of any description including mud phushka, concrete padding, tiles, cement plaster from roof surfaces etc including cleaning, brushing and watering to joints and grooves and throwing the same to a distance exc. 250 mtr and not exc 500 mtr from the roof etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Plain cement Concrete 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) 25 mm thick average as in roof padding/ levelling finish even and smooth etc complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for applying Smartcare Damp proof, a fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane formulated with reinforcing acrylic fibers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on horizontal/vertical surfaces of roof/wall/chajjas in multiple coats @2.0 litre/sqm. Primary coat is self-priming coat of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1, damp proof: water) and other coats to be applied undiluted. (ii) The undiluted 2nd & 3rd coatings needs to be reinforced with 40 GSM geotextile to be sandwiched between them. (iii) After that final 4th coating shall be applied. The application shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes complete all as specified and directed. Make: SmartCare Damp Proof of Asian Paints or equivalent in Berger and Nerolac. Notes:- (a) The work shall be executed through authorised applicator of manufacturer only. (b) Authrised Applicator shall be approved by GE before starting of work. (c) All materials shall be procured directly form manufacturer. (d) The contractor shall furnish a written guarantee for the effectiveness of the water proofing treatment for a period of Eight years in favour of GE.

M&L for cutting grooves in brick /concrete wall 75mm wide and 65mm deep and shaping horizontal face of groove with CM 1:3 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Providing cement concrete type B1 1:2:4 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges or water tank staging, coping etc finished even and smooth complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair of all visible hairline cracks on concrete roof/ screed more than 0.50 mm and not giving hollow sound, should be cut and widen in V shape with mechanical cutter in the size (10mm W x 6mm D). Fill cracks with PU sealant/Hybrid Sealant with suitable gun and smoothed with a putty knife or trowel. Allow sealant to cure a minimum (72 Hrs.) 3 days etc complete all as specified & directed.

Applying the non shrink high mechanical strength properties epoxy based mortar @ 5kg/RM on all corner joints of wall to prevent the capillary formation from wall to roof area; by three component system comprising of base, hardener and quartz filler having ER Base and Hardener with Quartz filler etc complete all as specified & directed.

M&L 10mm thick Screed bed or bedding layer of mortar on top of roof surfaces of any description in cement mortar 1:3 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacture instruction on concrete roof surface finished fair and even to maintain the proper slope of roof surface and smooth complete all as specified and directed. Note : WPC shall be measured & paid seperately.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound @ of 200ml per bag of cement complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of plastered roof surfaces and applying a coat of bitumen primer @ 0.30 kg/sqm on top of dry surface of finished cement morter plaster complete all as specified and directed.
