Miscellaneous civil repair works in operational area at Aurangabad Airport (2023-24)

Amount

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:1½:3 (1 Cement: 1½ coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. A)Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.

Providing and fixing concertina coil fencing with punched tape concertina coil 600 mm dia 10 metre openable length ( total length 90 m), having 50 nos rounds per 6 metre length, upto 3 m height of wall with existing angle iron 'Y' shaped placed 2.4m or 3.00 m apart and with 9 horizontal R.B.T. reinforced barbed wire, stud tied with G.I. staples and G.I. clips to retain horizontal, including necessary bolts or G.I. barbed wire tied to angle iron, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, with reinforced barbed tape(R.B.T.) / Spring core (2.5mm thick) wire of high tensile strength of 165 kg/ sq.mm with tape (0.52 mm thick) and weight 43.478 gm/ metre (cost of M.S. angle, C.C. blocks shall be paid separately)

Hire charges for electric/battery operated boom lift /scizzer lift including operator charges,transportation charges up to Aurangabad airport etc complete as per the direction the directions of Engineer-in-Charge

Finishing with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer's specifications including preparation of surface, etc. complete : On steel work (upto 16 meter height) (Note : Nothing extra shall be paid for painting at more height, only item no.5 shall be paid and MS H frame scaffolding will be provided by AAI.)

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint (Apex of Asian paints or Weathercoat of Berger or Excel of Nerolac or equivavalent approved make) of required shade : Old work (One or more coat applied @ 0.90 ltr/10 sqm).

Wall painting with acrylic emulsion paint (Tractor emulsion of Asian or Berger or Nerolac or equivalent approved make), having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre, of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required, to achieve even shade and colour a) Two coats

Applying priming coat with ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel work

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : One or more coats on old work

Providing and fixing UV stabilized, weather proof and and anti sun damage bird proofing HDPE polyethylene net 0.8mm thick preferably in black colour of required width in mesh of maximum aperture size 25x25 mm to 30x30 mm including strengthening as required with provision of zip to have access for cleaning of truss members of Garware make or equivalent. Bird proofing net system shall have properties like twin breaking strength of 15 kg, softening point of net shall not be less than 120 °C, melting point greater than 130 °C, shall be durable, strong, weather registant, chemically inert, does not absorb water, resistance to acids and alkalis, electrical insulator etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal and refixing old bird net including strengthening as required with provision of zip to have access for cleaning of truss members etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
