EARTH WORK IN HILL ROAD Excavation in Hill Area in Soil by Mechanical Means (Excavation in soil in hilly area by mechanical means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with all lifts and lead upto 1000 metres)
Deduct for quantum of earthwork of all types disposal directly by throwing into the valley without involving any lead and lift (Ordinary and Hard Soil/Hard Shale, Soil containing shingle or small size boulders.
Excavation in Hilly Area in Ordinary Rock by Mechanical Means not Requiring blasting. (Excavation in hilly area in ordinary rock not requiring blasting by mechanical means including cutting and trimming of slopes and disposal of cut materials with all lift and lead upto 1000 metres).
Excavation in Hard Rock (blasting prohibited) Excavation for roadway in hard rock (blasting prohibited) with rock breakers including breaking rock, loading in tippers and disposal within all lifts and lead upto 1000 metres, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections.
Deduct for quantum of earthwork of all types disposal directly by throwing into the valley without involving any lead and lift Ordinary and Hard Rock
(SH:Sub Grade Preparation and GSB-I)
Preparation of sub grade Preparation of sub grade by excavating earth to an average depth of 22.50 cm, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller, making good the undulations etc. and disposal of surplus earth, lead upto 50 m.
Consolidation of sub-grade with road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity including making good the undulations etc. with earth or quarry spoils etc. and rerolling the sub grade.
Granular Sub-Base with Coarse Graded Material (Table:- 400-2) Construction of granular sub-base by providing coarse graded Material,spreading in uniform layers with grader on prepare surface, mixing by mix in place mathod with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401 Grading-I Material ( Thickcness 100 mm)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density. ( Thickness 250 mm)

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emultion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning or road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per technical Clause: 502 Prime Coat
Providing and laying dense graded bituminous macadam with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.0 to 4.5 per cent by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRTH specification clause No. 507 complete in all respects. Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emultion (RS-1) using emultion distributor at the rate of 0.25-0.30 kg/sqm on the prepared granular surface tresated with primer & cleaned with hydraulic broom as per technical specification Clause: 503 Tack Coat
