Bitumastic gola, with 80/25 bitumen and coarse sand mixture 1:3 by weight, 8cm x 8cm at the junction of roofing to vertical surface, complete all as specified and as directed.

Water proofing treatment comprising of the following, using APP membrane polymer based to prepared roof surface complete all as specified and as directed:- (a) Applying evenly a coat of bituminous primer conforming to IS- 3384 @ 0.4Ltr/Sqm. Over the primed surface, apply a coat of hot blown 85/25 penetration grade bitumen conforming to IS- 702 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm of the surface area. Rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:6 finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.

Rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing existing paint by scrapping with TruCare Wall Sander: L-01/H-01(having mechanical vaccum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 80 Grit having dia of 7"/9" to make the surface free from dust, loose paint etc by skilled labour on wall/ceiling surface complete all as specified and as directed. Providing and applying waterproof cement based putty by manual application method @ 1kg (undiluted) per sq mtr of average thickness 1mm, of Asian paints or its equivalent over the plastered/old painted wall after scrapping to prepare the surface even and smooth on wall/ceiling surface complete all as specified and directed. Step 1 : Mix the putty powder by adding 40-50% water and mix it with Asian Paints or equivalent as per list of makes Trucare Putty mixer (Trucare Putty mixer with min 1400W power having mixer rod of industrial steel grade 45 with the mixing capacity of min 2.5kg putty per minute).. Step 2 : Allow 6-8 hrs time to dry the putty surface. Note . The work will also include execution of work in High rise bldgs and cost of necessary T&P, scaffoling is included in Quoted rates

Sanding of the putty surface with Asian Paints or equivalent as per list of makes Tru Care Wall Sander: L-01/H-01(having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 80 Grit having dia of 7"/9" to make the surface free from dust, loose paint etc by skilled labour on wall/ceiling surface complete all as specified. Note : The work will also include execution of work in High rise bldgs and cost of necessary T&P, scaffoling is included in Quoted rates.

Providing and applying one coat of acrylic waterbased interior/exterior grade primer by roller application method @ 0.8ltr (undiluted)/10Sqm diluted with water in 1:1 ratio to be applied. Allow 6-8hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent quotes etc by skilled labour on wall/ceiling surface complete all as specified. Note : The work will also include execution of work in High rise bldgs and cost of necessary T&P, scaffoling is included in Quoted rates).

Providing and applying two coats of smooth acrylic emulsion with roller application method with rich matt finish(interior grade) having voc less than 50 grams per ltr complying leed criteria @ 1ltrs (undiluted)/10Sqm diluted with water in 2:1 ratio applied over priming coat. Allow 6-8hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent quotes etc by skilled labour on wall/ceiling surface complete all as specified.. Note :The work will be also executed at High rise bldgs and necessary T&P, scaffoling is included in Quoted rates).

Preparation external wall and ceiling surface by complete removal of existing treatment of walls for upto 4 storey buildings by mechanised sander of Asian Paints or equivalent as per list of makes viz Xpress sanding machine having suction vaccum bag or by manual scrapping tools where mechanical removal is not possible and applying a layer of 1mm thick wall care putty, again sand papering thus making surface smooth and applying two coats of weather proofing exterior acrylic emulsion paint premium quality over a coat of primer on wall surfaces by roller application method, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : (The work will also include execution of work in High rise bldgs and cost of necessary T&P, scaffoling is included in Quoted rates).

Preparation of old decorated internal wall/ceiling surface by sand paper of required sizes, filling in wall care putty in potholes existing or created again sand papering thus prepairing surface smooth to recieve further finishes, complete all as specified and all as directed.

Applying two coats of oil bound distemper on prepared surfaces of walls, complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Finishing coat to applied with roller).

Applying one coats of Oil Bound distemper on prepared surfaces of ceilings, complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Finishing coat to applied with roller).

Applying one coats of Smooth Acrylic emulsion on prepared surfaces of walls complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Finishing coat to applied with roller).

Preparation old decorated external wall surface by mechanised sander of Berger Paints or equivalent makes viz Xpress sanding machine having suction vaccum bag or by manual scrapping tools where mechanical removal is not possible and repair to potholes by putty and making surface even and smooth and applying two coats of Cement base paint, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note :1. The work will be also executed upto four storied bldgs and necessary T&P, scaffoling is included in Quoted rates. 2. Cleaning/washing and dusting of floor/wall/door/window/fittings and fixture to be carried out by contractor before handover the site.

Two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer on new wooden surfaces of girth exc 10cm, including preparation of surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of old painted wood or wood based surfaces of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint, complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of new steel surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint on surfaces of any description exceeding 10 cm width or girth over a coat of red oxide, complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint, complete all as specified and as directed.

NOTES:- (Applicable to Srl items No. 68 to 82) A) The Cement Bassed Putty, Wall Primer, Oil Bound Distemper and Weather Proof Exterior Acrylic Emulsion Paint (Premium quality) shall be procured by contractor at the rate of consumption specified in BOQ for Berger Paints or at the rate of consumption specifed by other manufacturers specified in List of Makes in Appendix "Ä" to Particular Specifications duly supported with technical literature of the manufacturer towards consumption of above mentioned materials the materials. The materials procured shall be verified by the Engr-in-Charge to his entire satisfaction for quality and quantity as per makes specified and consumption litreture of manufacturer.

B) Half the quantity of materials mentioned in Note No. A above shall be brought to site in sealed containers as per manufacturers packings before commencement of work, shall be inspected by Engr-in-Charge to his full satisfaction and kept in safe custody of Engr-in-Charge in the store at site with locking arrangement as decided by him. For the purpose of keeping a record of materials procured and consumed in works, the contractor shall maintain a properly bound register in the form as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge and daily record enteries showing quantity used in the work and balance in hand and get the same verified from JE at the end of each day towards consumption of Paint. Pages of the register shall be numbered and initialed by Engineer-in-Charge. This register shall be signed daily by the contractor or his representative and JE. On completion of the work, the register shall be returned to MES for safe custody for any future reference.

C) Balance half of the quantity of materials mentioned in Note No. 01 above shall be procured and brought to site in sealed containers as per manufacturers packings on 50% completion of work or as decided by Engr-in-Charge as per requirement of work site. The contractor shall get all the paint materials mentioned in Note No. 01 above insured during storage towards any damage/loss of materials due to fire or any other natural cause and cost of same shall be deemed to be included in his quoted rates.

Cleaning existing Chromium plated bath fittings and vitreous china sanitary ware sanitary fittings using suitable chemical or solvent as per manufacturer's instruction, duly taking care not to damage the polish/enamel on fittings, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Engr-in-Charge shall be solely responsible for keeping record of handing over and taking over of quaters (to be duly signed by both parties) for Welcome Maintenance duly. Any eminent delay beyond the control of contractor or quarters requiring extensive repairs not possible within 10 days period shall be got approved from GE on the Register being maintained by Engr-in-Charge for the record purpose.

NOTE:- Irrespective of whatever specified elsewhere in tender documents, all the debris/waste materials produced out of above mentioned work shall be removed out of Cantonement land and disposed off at locations notified by the Delhi Cantonment Board for disposal of waste building materials within NCR area, without any extra cost to Department under own arrangement of contractors. The rates quoted by the contractors against the items catered here-in-above in the BOQ are inclusive of said provision.
