Material and Labour for preparation of old painted concrete surfaces with washing down soap water of runway, taxi track / dispersal area for painting with mechanical mode of application as lines, dashes, arrows, letters and the like exceeding 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of runway road marking paint golden yellow, or white aqua based to give uniform finish complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Masking tape should be used on edges of paints before painting work and removed the masking tape after paint is applied where ever required and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for preparing of existing expansion joints including removing filled material in joints of runway by removing the cracking out joints 10 mm wide and 25mm deep including removing all loose material and cleaning the joints with brush and removing all loose fine particles with compressed air and applying the bituminous primer and sealing the joints by filling sealing compound grade `B` (Jet fuel resistant) as per IS 1834-984 complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Material obtained from removing of existing filled up materials shall be removed from out side MOD land.

Material and Labour for preparing of existing contraction/dummy joint including removing filled material in joints of runway by removing the cracking out joints 10 mm wide and 25mm deep including removing all loose material and cleaning the joints with brush and removing all loose fine particles with compressed air and applying the bituminous primer and sealing the joints by filling sealing compound grade `B` (Jet fuel resistant) as per IS 1834-984 complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Material obtained from removing of existing filled up materials shall be removed from out side MOD land.

Material and Labour for repair to broken/damage portion of concrete slab or pavement by cutting damaged portion to slab/spoil edges to rectangular cross section and removing all loose and foreign materials and depositing the same to out side MOD land and cleaning the surface by compressed air to remove all dust dirt etc and washing with hydrochloric acid and filling epoxy resin mortar after application of epoxy primer as per manufacture instructions bull nosing the edges complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Material obtained from damaged portion of concrete slab shall be removed from out side MOD land.

Supply and running of mechanical tractor minimum 40 HP capacity alongwith one skilled driver and one semi skilled helper, of each tractor including fuel / lubricants etc for cutting of grass by mechanically operated slasher wherever required including removing of materials obtained from cutting to out side of MOD land. Grass cutting is to be done upto 100 metre from the edge of runway, taxi track and parking area and height of grass shall not be more than 5 cm after cutting complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) A log book shall be maintained by JE(Civil) and the same shall be signed by Engineer-in-Charge & contractor daily for the purpose of calculating daily working hours which shall be actual mode of payment. (ii) Tractor deployed shall not be more than 5 years old from the date of manufacturing. Contractor to provide the registration documents to Engr-in-Charge on this account. (iii) Actual working hours shall be calculated based on actual running of machinary as directed by Garrison Engineer and excluding of transit hours. (iii) Contractor shall deploy one or more tractor as per site requirement. Seperate log sheet/book shall be maintained for each tractor.

Material and labour providing, 100 mm thick plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2, (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub base laid in alternate bays etc complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer / Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour cement concrete in pavement / hard standing of flexural strength 40 Kg / per square centimetre in field using minimum 400 Kgs of cement per cubic metre of concrete slab, 25 centimetre thick or less laying pavement concrete / Hard standing in bays between joints including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Work shall be executed as per design mix as approved by GE. (ii) The content of cement as specified is minimum. Any variation in content of cement during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government.

Material and labour forming expansion joint 12mm thick filled with pre formed bituminous filler and top 30 mm primed and sealed with sealing compound.grade B of 250 mm thick concrete slab complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer / Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour removing old paint by paint removers or by burning off through blow lamp of any numbers of coats, any width or girth complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer / Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and any position of any thickness below or above ground level by mannually finishes and removing demolished material / rubbish out site MOD land complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer / Engr-in-Charge.
