RequiredThe contractor belonging to the Scheduled Tribe shall be the domicile of the state of Karnataka for more than 10 years. Hence Relevant Domicile certificate of bidder for applying to works shall be scanned and attached to e-tender document.

RequiredTo qualify for award of the respective contract each tenderer in his name should have required bid capacity. To calculate Bid capacity it will require financial turnover in last five years period i.e., from 2021-22 to 2025-26. The turnover Certificate should be issued by the Chartered Accountant should be enclosed & mention UDIN No. The turnover prior to FY 2025-26 will be updated to the present Price level by giving weightage of 10 percent each year. i.e., FY 2026-27.

RequiredThe Available bid capacity of the Tenderer must be as per Tender Notification 1.1.8. The statement showing the value of existing commitments and ongoing works list should be enclosed for having with all department for considering Balance cost of the work in hand for considering Bid Capacity.

Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The intending bidders are advised to visit the site of work, make themselves familiar with local situation about the availability of construction materials, work men, land required for construction activities, etc., before submission of bids.

The contractor should adhere to the time period specified for completion of work, under any circumstances without linking to the pending payment of the work & also Land acquisition problems if any.

Typographical errors, if any will not be the ground for any claims by the Contractor.

All materials like steel, cement etc., required for the above work should be procured by the contractor only. No departmental supply of any material shall be made by KBJNL.

The amount put to tender is exclusive of GST. The contractor should bid based on this amount (excluding GST). But GST shall be paid to the quoted percentage plus or minus on estimates prepared prevailing at the time of sanctioned and 18 percent GST is added to the amount as mentioned. Further the increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the contractor alone is responsible for delay as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time.

The intending bidder should note that, as the tender invited is on percentage basis, if the bid amount based on the percentage quoted by the contractor is less than the amount put to tender, the contractor shall submit the additional performance security amount equal to the difference between the amount put to tender and quoted amount in any form as per security deposit clause mentioned in the tender document. In case of contractor quotes the rates above 125% of the estimated rates, then the amount over and above 125% will be withheld during the progress of work. The additional performance security will be released proportionately to the bill amount till the contractor achieves progress of entire work as per agreement.

During the time of technical evaluation, if the employer finds that any Certification/information furnished is false, such bidders will be disqualified and barred from participation in the bid.

Within 5 days of receipt of the Letter of Acceptance before entering into agreement the successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Security deposit in any of the forms of DD/bankers cheques/FDR/BG for an amount equivalent to 5 % of the Contract amount exclusive of GST.

Prior to awarding of work the Lowest (L-1) bidder should produce the original documents in support of the uploaded documents to enter in to the agreement. If the lowest bidder (L-1) does not produce the original documents for entering into an agreement then his bid can be treated non-responsive bid as per Clause 26(4) of the KTPP Rules. The name of the bidder who does not produce the original documents shall be barred from participation in any of the tenders to be invited by KBJNL apart from forfeiting the EMD paid through e-cash.

If any of the dates mentioned above happen to be a general holiday, the next working day holds good.

Conditional tenders are liable to be rejected. The officer competent to accept the tender shall have the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Any Modification/clarification will be published in the kppp portal. The bidders are advised to visit the portal regularly.

They should abide by the directions of Government towards recovery of 1 percent (or as modified by Govt. from time to time) Cess from the contractors bill under the provisions of building and other constructions worker welfare Cess Act 1996.

Under no circumstances, the cost of completion of Closure work should be exceeded the tendered cost and no EFI shall be entertained.

Under no circumstances, the RA Bills are to be paid. Only first and final bill is to be processed for payment.

All other conditions are as per Tender documents and Tender Notification.
