   (a)This is a PAC item. Railway reserves the right to place bulk/ entire quantity order on either original equipment manufacturer viz M/s MEDHA SERVO DRIVES PRIVATE LIMITED or an authorized dealer nominated by the OEM. (b) Preferably manufacturers should participate. In case of firms other than OEMs participating in the tender, they must submit tender specific Authorization from OEM failing which their offers will not be considered. (c) OEMs can authorize and give Tender Specific Authorization to its Agent / Dealers to quote on their behalf provided the vendor takes full responsibility for the quality of the material including warranty obligation and the inspection of product against Railways order is carried out at the manufacturers premises.Please refer para 3.4 of Part-B of Southern Railway Tender Conditions attached with this tender.

   Firms other than M/s MEDHA SERVO DRIVES PRIVATE LIMITED submitting bids against this tender must comply with the following conditions: (a) Submission of Technical Details - The bidder must upload complete technical details/specifications of the offered item. (b) The bidder must have successfully executed the supply of at least one unit of the same item to any of the Railway units within the last three financial years, including the current financial year up to the date of tender opening and proof of successful execution - CRN, CRAC, Receipt Note, Inspection Certificate, Completion certificate must be uploaded

   LOCAL CONTENT CERTIFICATE:- Order shall be restricted to Class-I Local Suppliers only (with minimum local content of 50%) as per Make in India Policy for the tendered item and as such, the vendors who do not qualify to be Class-I Local Suppliers for the tendered item, should not quote in this tender as their offer shall not be considered for any ordering. In case, any vendor who does not qualify to be a Class-I Local Supplier for the tendered item participates in the tender, it does so at its own risk and cost and Railways shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to the vendor.

   1. EMD shall be 2% of the estimated tender value and shall be taken from all bidders for contract value above Rs. 25 Lakh subject to the applicable exemptions. For details please refer 2.0 Part A of Southern Railway Tender Conditions available under the mentioned link in the tender. 2. Authorized dealers are advised to remit the EMD amount for consideration of the offer.

THE BASE DATE FOR CALCULATION PURPOSE SHALL BE CONSIDERED AS TWO MONTHS PRIOR TO DATE OF TENDER OPENING. THE INDICES USED WILL BE AS PER IEEMA WHEREVER APPLICABLE. The IEEMA price variation would be applicable for main equipment and spares.

   Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

   Validity of offers: Offers should be valid for 120 days after closing date of tender. Any offer having lesser validity shall be deemed as commercially unresponsive and will be summarily rejected.

   I/We have carefully gone through the IRS conditions of contract (included and uploaded along with the bid document) particularly Para 2500 pertaining to "Code of Integrity, Misdemeanor and Penalties". I/We hereby certify that no other sister concerns or affiliates (such as having common partner/director/promoter/owner/holding company decision control etc.) have participated in this tender which can give rise to a conflict of interest or fall under anti-competitive practices. We understand that the offers of all such sister concerns including ours are liable to be rejected as per relevant provisions of IRS terms and conditions. I/We, affirm that we shall abide by the Code of Integrity in general, with specific reference to conflict of interest [Para 2502 (e)], anti competitive practices [Para 2502(c)] and obligation to proactive disclosures [Para 2503]. I/We understand that we are fully responsible for the above declaration and it shall not be the Railway's responsibility to verify the same. I/We are aware that we shall be liable for all consequences of violation of Code of Integrity, if detected, at any stage.
