M&L for preventive maintenance / repairing by opening and taking out the Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB) 11 KV 630 Amp, type VMX from panel and carry out the general maintenance such as oiling & greasing the mechanical parts, motor, gear, lever spring, operating rod, cleaning the female contacts, tightening of nuts and bolts, cleaning the male and female contact of panel, oiling the bus bar shutter, checking the AC/DC wiring, circuit including control fuses and circuit jack, on/off push button, indicating lamp, voltmeter, ammeter, PF meter, replacement of minor parts (where required) and testing after re-inserting the VCB in panel and relays calibration by applying artificial electric load in the form of overload, short circuit current, and earth fault for tripping function complete in all respect complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- (i) Unserviceable spare parts shall be measured and paid for separately as ‘Supply only’. (ii) Unit rate quoted against this item shall include the labour component required for replacement of unserviceable spare parts. (iii) Contractor shall ensure that the repair to VCB shall be carried out under the supervision of OEM Engineer and cost of this aspect shall deemed to be included in quoted rate of this item. (iv) The contractor shall check the existing system of 11 KV VCB for installation of VCB parts with prior approval of GE.

Power pack 230 V input and 12/ 24 /110 V DC output as per site requirement.

Tripping coil operating on 12/ 24 /110 V as per existing installed on site.

M&L for transformer transportation of capacity 63 to 160 KVA from installed site to workshop for maintenance, repair to transformer for rewinding and/or stop oil leakage by decanting transformer oil complete, dismantling the top cover along with conservator tank, replacing the gasket, washers etc, replacement of HT / LT bushes complete, dismantling the cooling fins and welding as necessary to arrest oil leakage, re-assembling transformer, refilling filtered oil and testing complete transformer, complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- (i) Labour component required for the replacement of unserviceable parts shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) Major parts (as required) shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this Sch 'A'. (iii) Transformer oil and copper coil for winding shall be measured & paid separately under relevant items. (iv) T&P and minor parts will be arranged by the contractor and the cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item.

M&L for transformer transportation of capacity 500 to 1000 KVA from installed site to workshop for maintenance, repair to transformer for rewinding and/or stop oil leakage by decanting transformer oil complete, dismantling the top cover along with conservator tank, replacing the gasket, washers etc, replacement of HT / LT bushes complete, dismantling the cooling fins and welding as necessary to arrest oil leakage, re-assembling transformer, refilling filtered oil and testing complete transformer, complete all as specified and as directed. Supply only HT brass Bushing for transformer of capacity upto 1000 KVA complete for replacement during repair of transformer.

Supply only LT brass Bushing for transformer of capacity upto 1000 KVA complete for replacement during repair of transformer.

Supply only Set of gasket (Rubberised cork/neoprene) complete for transformer of capacity upto 1000 KVA for replacement during repair of transformer.

Supply only Oil drain/ filter valve for suitable size complete for transformer of capacity upto 1000 KVA for replacement during repair of transformer.

Supply only breather assembly with silica gel filled for transformer of capacity upto 5.0 MVA complete for replacement during repair of transformer.

Supply only new copper wire wound coils for LT / HT winding of transformers with super enameled copper winding wire of suitable gauge so as to match with the working capacity of transformer and all as per manufacturer’s design and specification including providing Class-E insulation and fixing HT coils in position and connecting electrically in core assembly of capacity 63 to 630 KVA for replacement during repair of transformer.

Supply and filling new mineral grade transformer oil (ISI marked) EHV type conforming to IS-335 of 1993 for filling and for topping up in transformer duly filtered with filtration plant to obtain high dielectric strength 50 to 60 KV complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Transformer oil shall be supplied in sealed barrels with test certificate. Cost of barrel shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor and empty barrel will be the property of the Department and same shall be deposited to the AGE E/M Store Yard. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Repair/maintenance of unserviceable auto tap changer of transformer upto 1500 KVA, 11000/433 Volts, 50 Hz, auto tap changer capacity of 17 step for +5% to -17.5% to make it fully functional complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil/material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for dry sand (Local Tibba sand) and punning for cushioning and cover for protection of under ground electric cable complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Approved local Tibba dry sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used. (ii) For the purpose of payment, only punned thickness shall be measured.

M&L for sub class ‘B’ (old size) burnt clay bricks laid flat and dry abutting each other with gap between adjacent bricks not exc. 10mm for protection of underground electric cable in such a way that the length of brick is at right angle to the central axis of cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down / taking out carefully existing underground serviceable aluminium conductor HT XLPE cable 11000 Volt grade of size 95 sqmm to 150 sqmm, 3 core, for relaying purpose etc complete all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) Excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) If cable is damaged by the contractor’s workmen during the execution of work, the same shall be provided / repaired by the contractor at his own cost complete to the entire satisfaction of GE. (iii) Excavation work shall be done manually. No Excavator machine shall be used.

Transportation of old serviceable aluminium conductor HT XLPE cable 11000 Volt grade of size 95 sqmm to 150 sqmm, 3 core retrieved from serial item No 18.00 here-in-before and laying at old / new location as directed in trench / through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles, complete all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, jointing kits, cable route indicator and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of the above provisions.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing HT XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor 11000 Volt (Earthed) grade of cross sectional area 95 Sqmm, 3 Core (ISI marked) laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc, including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable HT cable, complete all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of the above provisions.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable jointing kit complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable jointing kit complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for Galvanized iron tubing, 100mm bore light grade, ISI marked, including all fittings and laid in trenches/under road/drains, fixed to poles/walls with required size of flat iron (25mmx3mm) clamps, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of HT electric cable complete including taking down old unserviceable pipe with clamps. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately.

M&L for Boring of holes for laying/passing of pipe of size 100 mm bore under road, pavement, hard standing, etc by trench less technology using necessary machine / manually without disturbing the top surface suitable for passing the GI protection pipe / cables, complete all as specified and as directed.
