Testing the cables with high voltage DC testing machine and locating the fault in the cables by fault locating machine to pin point exact position of fault, disconnecting faulty 11 KV HT cables of different sizes from both ends, removal of Fault, Re-connections and testing of cables after removal of fault complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Excavation,earth work,cable & joints shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule. (b) Retrieved old serviceable cable cover/bricks will be laid in trenches for cable protection. If extra PCC cover/bricks and sand required at site shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQs. (d) Material and labour for emergency maintenance work of HT/LT cable line during breakdown by deploying skilled labour and electricians at faulty site having gang of minimum 4 persons including transportation and other tools and plant required at site for fault rectification.(e) Contractor or his rep shall come to the site of breakdown within two hours of notification of breakdown. In case the contractor or his rep shall not come to the site of breakdown and start attending breakdown within two hours, a penalty of Rs 600 per fault per hour shall be imposed over contractor and shall be deduct from his dues.

Taking out faulty underground 1100 Volt LT cable of any size by excavation and removing bricks of any size and relaying in the same trenches or re routing after rectification of fault or replacing faulty portion of cable with new cable and removing of surplus soil and using new bricks as required. Note: (a) 1100 Volt LT cable & joints shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule. (b) Retrieved old serviceable bricks will be laid in trenches for cable protection. Servicing of ACBs by taking out Air circuit breaks of capacity 400-1250 amps from LT panels cleaning all parts internally and externally checking of the proper tension of the springs mechanical mechanism, tightening of connection of moving, fixing contract, floating contacts, servicing of motor, and charging system and re-fixing it on its original position and testing including testing of control wiring of the respective ACBs by the authorised service engineer and shall submit necessary certificate for the same all as specified.
