Excavating in trenches in soft/ loose soil n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. nexc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out

Returning, filling in, approved earth including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 250mm thick after cable are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (Surplus soil) to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning to under ground cable providing with a layer of and 05 cm thick before laying of cable and 18 cm after laying of cable in trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge (Note :- Thickness of sand after punning down shall be measured and paid separately)

S & L sub class B bricks having minimum compressive strength 75 Kg/Sqcm laid in trenches for cable protection etc complete all as directed by Engineer -in-Charge.

Cutting through existing bituminous road /PCC/floor/approx size width 50cm X 60cm depth along cross section of the road for laying of GI tubing/RCC pipe for encasing of cable and repairing the road to match with the original finish, M&L complete complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete 1 :3 :6 type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate incl necessary form work all as specified

Supply and fix aluminium strip 25 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws, insulators rawal plugs etc for conductor for roof and fixed on wall upto test point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix galvanized iron strip 32 x 6mm fixed with saddles & fixing screws, PVC dash fastners, insulators fixed from test point to earth on walls or burried in ground / drawn into hume pipe.

Supply and fix single pointed air termination Aluminium rod 12mm dia, 300 mm long

M&L for test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorous bronge 75 x 75 x 25mm of 6mm thickness drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head brass screws including box of size 90 x 90 x 90mm made of 1.6mm plain sheet and screwed to wall for protection of test point completed complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down carefully by unscrewing from clamp/ saddles plates air termination rods with GI supporting pipe for re use at site or carrying the MES store complete all as spesified and directed by Engr- in -Charge

Refixing Air termination rod with G I supporting pipe retrieved against item no-1 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Taking down carefully by unscrewing from clamp /back plates strips any type of aluminium/ GI for reuse at site or refifing at same or other locations complete all as spesified and directed by Engr- in -Charge

Refixing Gi/ aluminium strips retrieved against item no-36 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

M & L for breaking the plinth of street light pole, taking out loop of existing UG cable of any size, cutting the damaged portion of cable and reconnecting it to the New/ existing street light junction box with and including proper aluminium lugs clearing the site complete all as specified and as directed at site.

Disconnecting electrically , taking out from trenches and relaying after rectifying defects LT cables any size from 6 Sqmm to 185 Sqmm 2 / 3.5 core. Relaying only or fixing or passing through pipe 1100 volt grade heavy duty cable with PVC insulated multi stranded Al conductor of size of 6 Sqmm to 185 Sqmm/2/3.5 core armoured with galganised steel strip or wire all specified and direct by Engr-in-Charge. NOte:- excavation and Earth work and othe material reqd will be measured and paid separetaly under the respective item of schedule

Re use old sub class "B" bricks covering protection to the electic cable laid dry flat transversly along the length of cable on sand cushioning with width equal to length of brick comlete all as specified and directed as required.

M & L for scrubbing out old paint,rust etc from 9 Mtr long pole and making smooth and even suface then painting with one coat of anti rust paint and two coats of superior quality aluminium paint on entire exposed portion of pole structure including all fitments on pole and writing pole number with 2'' size with white paint lettering on black base all as directed at site .(work shall be completed in the stipulated period as directed).

Dismantling carefully the existing OH line of worn out/ defective ACSR conductor of any size from its position by necessary disconnecting of conductor.

Dismantling of cross arms of MS fabricated complete with all accessories viz nut, bolts, washer etc. complete all as specified and directed.
