SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I (ROAD WORKS)

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam by power or by hand picking, exceeding 50 mm deep and not exceeding 100 mm deep and area exceeding 400 sqm, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for wetmix macadam (WMM) 150mm thick (compacted thickness) in two layers each 75mm thick with grading as per table 400-13 of MORTH specification for road and bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100KN static weight consolidating to required gradien and camber all as specified and directed the finished surface tolerance to be as per table 900-1 of MORTH specification for road and bridge works 2013 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Premix bituminous, macadam with paving bituman any penetration, (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 4% binder content by weight of total mix, laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne vibrating power roller etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Preparing unsurfaced WMM surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer@ 10 Kgs/10 Sqm, using paving bitumen complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Repairs to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting arround edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including of road metal) by applying tack coat with bituminous primer at 5kg per 10 sqm, putting in premix as specified for thin bituminous carpet well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (9.8 kg per 10sqm of binder blended with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3mm size again well rammed), (including supply of premix macadam, binder & chippings) depth of potholes n exc 30 mm and suitably rolled complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and Labour for Preparing of existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt & appying evenly a priming / tack coat at 5 kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen VG-30 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC), 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % binder content of paving bitumen by weight of total mix using VG-30 grade bitumen, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete using mechanical paver and rolled using power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed. Note: The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following element:- (i) Job mix formula for the semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be obtained from the institutes specified in the particular specifications. (ii) In case, as per actual design mix, the binder content by weight of total mix is less than 5.5%, price adjustment shall be made as per average rate of all the purchase vouchers for bitumen pertaining to the work under this contract. If total binder conten as per design mix is more than 5.5%, no price adjustment shall be made for the same, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M& L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Dual directional reflective cat eye aluminium casted stud 100x100x20 mm having retro-reflective glass beads of colour white/red/yellow a side provided with steel zinc plated nail of dia 12 mm of length 120 mm for fixing to road by hammering complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

S & F Solar Cat Eye having 3 LEDs of Red/Yellow colours to a side ( Total 6 Nos) housed in a tough pressure die casted aluminium alloy of size 125mm or 120 x 130mm with built in stem of suitable length for fixing with epoxy. LEDs, Solar Cells, battery & light sensor will protect inside under tough unbreakable polycarbonate transparent sheet top. System workable for 2-3 days(nights) after full charge in 8-10 hrs complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make: GREENS/ GREEN LITE CAT PART NO. GPL - 03-01 or equivalent as mentioned in PS

Material and Labour for 50 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (40mm graded aggregate) as in sub base of flooring. complete all as specified and directed

M&L for machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment any shape and size confirming ot ISD-15658-2006 of 80mm thickness M-40 grade complete all as specified and as directed. (Note:- Sand will be measured and paid separately)

Material and Labour for 50mm thick sand filling (sand cushioning) under path for layers interlocking tiles complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed.
