PART I : CIVIL WORKS
Plain cement concrete using graded stone aggregate of 20 mm max. size including consolidation, finishing, curing, cost of form work, shuttering, centering etc. at all level and locations complete all as per specification & as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
Brick work at all levels & location using Ready mix cement mortar 1:4 using well burnt locally available bricks of approved quality including scaffolding, raking out joints above ground level simultaneous pointing below ground level, curing, scaffolding etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
a) In foundation & plinth, drain walls, chambers etc.
b) In super structure at all floors and levels.
Reinforcement with TMT bars of Fe 500D grade reinforced cement concrete conforming to IS at all floors & levels including, supplying, cutting, bending, fixing and tying in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire including cost of binding wire, labour and welding of new reinforcement bars with existing reinforcement bars wherever required etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. Note:- Binding wire required for the work will have to be supplied by the contractor & the same will not be measured for payment.
Random rubble masonry at all levels & locations using spotless black trap or approved locally available stone using Ready mix cement mortar 1:4 including raking out joints, scaffolding simultaneous flush pointing using through bond stones at every 900 mm in horizontal & vertical courses of Each layer including PVC pipe 75 mm dia weep hole at 1.5m c/c in horizontal & in vertical, curing, scaffolding etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
Rubble stone supplied by the Contractor.
Rubble stone supplied by the Department.
Providing & laying rubble stone soling using spotless stones of consolidated thickness (150 / 230 mm) with stones vertically handset interstices packed with smaller stone chips, binding with murrum/crushed sand, watering, consolidating & finishing to required levels etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
a) 150 mm thick.
b) 230 mm thick .
Providing IPS flooring of following thicknesses at all floors & levels, in cement concrete 1:2:4 using graded stone aggregateof 10 mm max. size laid to proper level or slope in alternate bays in panels of required sizes finished smooth including providing aluminimum strip of size 25 x 2 mm wherever required, curing including removing carefully existing damaged/ worn out flooring and disposing off debris within colony etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
a) 50 mm thick.
Kotah stone flooring/ dado/ skirting at all floors & levels using minimum 25 mm thick machine cut machine polished kotah stone slabs laid over cement mortar bedding as specified below, close jointed & pointed with matching slurry of cement, finished to levels, slope or plumb, curing including removing carefully existing damaged/ worn out flooring and dado & disposing off debris with in colony etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
a) In flooring using Ready mix cement mortar 1:4, 20mm thick bedding.
b) In dado/ skirting laid over Ready mix cement mortar 1:3 backing 12 mm thick.
Providing and laying of Kotah stone for stair treads with 3 line anti skid grooves and nosing at all floors & levels using minimum 25 mm thick machine cut machine polished kotah stone slabs laid over 1:4 ready mix cement mortar bedding including curing hand polishing removing old damaged/ worn out tread and disposing off debris within colony etc. all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer- in- Charge.
Providing and laying of Kotah stone 20 mm thick risers of approved size and laid over ready mix Cement moratr 1:4 backing of 12 mm thick at all level and floors including cutting to required size, curing, removing of old damaged/ worn out risers and disposing off debries within colony all as directed by Engineer- in- Charge.
Providing and fixing structural steel of approved grade of approved manufactures using steel sections such as angles, flat, tees, channel, tubes, hollow section etc. of required sizes at all levels and locations including cutting, fabricating, welding, erecting & fixing in posion, necessary scaffolding and including painting one coat Zinc chormate primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make and colour on all exposed surfaces etc. compete all as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
Providing and fixing second class teak wood in frames of required sections for doors, windows, ventilators, clear storey window, partition, railing, battens & rafters etc. wrought framed and fixed in position including providing and fixing M.S. hold fasts of size 200 x 30 x 3 mm embedded in concrete block of P.C.C. 1:2:4 and fixing frame in position, labour for removal of door shutter carefully and refixing the same including applying one coat of approved wood primer & two coats of synthetic enamel paint to the exposed surfaces and two coats of bituminous paint to the surfaces of frames in contact with masonry concrete etc. including removing the old damaged frames and transporting to Deptt. Stores and making the adjacent plaster good to match with existing surfaces etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
Repairs to the existing door frame by replacing part of the frame with 2nd class teak wood at site of work by :i) Cutting of the damaged/ decayed portion of the door frame without disturbing/ removing of the existing frame. ii) Providing wood with 2nd class teak wood as per the existing frame for repairing of the damaged/ decayed portion of the frame including making lap joints for jointing the new wood with old wood work by fixing necessary screws and synthetic adhesive etc. complete. iii) Fixing the repaired door frame in position with embedding the frame upto 50 mm depth in the floor and fixing coach screws to the wall including breaking of the floor for making pocket, applying two coats of bituminous paint to the surfaces of frames in contact with masonry/ concrete, repairing floor with P.C.C. 1:2:4 finishing including one coat of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer on new work and one coat of synthetic enamel paint over entire surfaces of frame etc. & disposing off debris with in colony etc. complete all as directed by theEngineer- in- Charge.
Providing and fixing second class C.P. teak wood of required sizes and Sections for repairing the styles & rails & battens of panelled and battened door shutters of various flats at all floors, including carefully removing the existing door shutters & removing with fittings & fixtures, damaged/ decayed teak wood nail/ styles battens and plywood panel of shutters, cutting, plaining & jointing the wood, providing and fixing necessary screws and glueing the lap joints with synthetic adhesive fevicol or equivalent, plaining & finishing the new wood work to match with old work in proper line and level including cost of fixing the door shutters with all fittings & fixtures with one coat synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer on new work and one coat of paint over entire surfaces of shutters etc. disposing off debris within colony etc. complete all as directed by theEngineer- in- Charge.
a) Teak wood.
b) 12 mm thick marine ply of approved make.
Providing & fixing approved quality block board of approved make in following thickness including cutting to required sizes and fixing the same with necessary nails/ screws/ adhesives in partitions, cupboard shelves, kitchen cabinets etc. at all floors & locations including, Providing and fixing 6 mm thick teak wood beading to all exposed edges of block board including cost of nails, screws, adhesive, wastage in cutting, transportation etc. including cost of fixing the fittings, painting the surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer etc. including removing shutter/ shelves and transporting to Deptt. Stores, complete all as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
a) 20 mm thick block board shutter including providing & fixing SS piano hinges 35 mm wide.
b) 25 mm thick block board shelves.
Providing and fixing C.P. teak wood moulded beading 40 X 20 mm (architrave) size mentioned below around door & window frames at all floors & locations with necessary screws including two coats of painting with one coat of approved primer including cost of screws, wastages in cutting, transportation etc. including removing the old damaged beading and disposing the same complete all as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
Providing & fixing commercial ply/ teak veneer 3.5/ 4 mm thick of approved make and quality to flush door / ply wood/ block board etc. including cost of adhesve, panel pins / nails, screws wasting in cutting etc. all as directed by the Engineeri -in - charge.
Using 3.0 mm thick teak veneer.
Using 4.0 mm thick commercial ply.
Providing & fixing ordinary plain/ Frosted/ Bajara sheet glass/ for MS openable/ louvers or aluminium sliding windows, glass doors, vision panels etc. of approved make of following thickness in various sizes as required at site, using first class glass oil putty of approved quality and make including supplying & fixing glazing pins, teak wood or aluminium beading, EPDM gasket etc with necessary screws, nails etc. (as required). at all floors & locations including cutting the glass to required size, removing the existing broken/ damaged glass panes from windows/ doors/ partitions etc. along with its old oil putty/ gasket/ beading etc. carefully and disposing off the un-serviceable material with in colony including wastage in cutting, transportation etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
a) 4 mm thick plain glass for window panes.
b) 4 mm thick Bajra glass for windows/ louvers.
c) 5 mm thick plain glass with EPDM gasket for Aluminium windows.
d) 6 mm thick plain glass for sliding window.
Supplying & fixing in position the 32/40 mm thick solid core block board flush door shutters with commercial ply on both side conforming to IS with external type teak wood lipping of section 30 X 20 mm/ 40 X 20 mm alround, fixing shutters in position to pressed steel door frames/wooden frames at all floors by cutting/ planning if necessary including supplying & fixing heavy duty MS oxidised hinges including cost of fixing the fittings, painting the shutters all over with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make & colour over one coat of approved primer etc. including removing the old damaged shutter and transporting to Deptt. stores all as per specifications & as directed by Engineer- in- Charge.
a) For Door 32 mm thick.
b) For Door 40 mm thick.
Providing and fixing in position 2nd class C.P. teak wood panelled door shutters of 35 mm thickness, styles , top & other rails 100 mm wide, lock and bottom rails 175 mm- 200 mm wide, with treated under vaccum pressure and kiln seasoned secondary species timber with insert panels of 12 mm thick marine plywood including supplying & fixing heavy duty MS oxidized hinges including painting the shutters all over with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make & colour over one coat of approved primer etc. including cost of fixing the fittings, removing the old damaged shutter and transporting to Deptt. stores all as per specifications & as directed by Engineer- in- Charge.
Cement plastering using factory manufactured pre mix/ready mix mortar of approved make minimum composition of C:S is 1:4 suitable for internal plastering to wall and ceiling finished smooth over brick walls or concrete surfaces including acrylic based membrane curing of M/s. Anuvi Chemicals/ Fosroc/ Dr. fixit at all floors and levels including scaffolding, removing existing damaged/ worn out plastering and disposing off debris with in colony etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer- in- Charge.
a) 12 mm thick.
b) 15mm thick.
c) 20 mm thick.
Sand faced cement plaster 20 mm using factory manufactured pre mix/ ready mix mortar of approved make minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 suitable for external plastering over brick walls or concrete surfaces with base coat of 12 mm thick and finishing coat of 8 mm thick final rendering including acrylic based membrane curing of M/s. Anuvi chemicals/ Fosroc/ Dr. fixit at all floors and levels including removing existing damaged/ worn out plastering and disposing off debris with in colony etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer- in- Charge. (Scaffolding shall be paid under relevant item). NOTE: The contractor must take full precautions that original brick work is not damaged while dismantling of plaster. Incase of any damage the same shall be made good with 25g chicken wire mesh at his own cost. No separate payment for any additional thickness of plaster if any will be made. Contractor must visit site and acquint himself with the condition of building.
Cement pointing to stone work using ready mix cement mortar 1:3, including rakingout joints, pointing neatly and finishing the joints as specified below including curing, scaffolding etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
a) Raised and cut pointing.
WATER PROOFING WORKS Pressure grouting through RCC slab/ brick masonry by drilling hole in RCC slab to required depth without causing any damaged to reinforcement, inserting ½” dia PVC pipe in hole securing the hole sides with mortar 1:2, pressure grouting with cement slurry mixed with approved water proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement to required pressure, continuing the pressure grouting till the flow of cement slurry stops, removing the PVC pipe, sealing the hole with cement mortar 1:1, scaffolding etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
Providing and applying one coat of white cement based wall care putty of approved make over entire surface including preparing old painted surfaces by thoroughly scrapping oil bound distemper/ acrylic emulsion/ white wash etc. filling up the cracks, crevices, depression, holes including sand papering and making surfaces even and smooth dusting/ cleaning, applying one coat of approved cement primer, scaffolding, covering the furniture etc. with tarpaulins or equivalent covering materials, cleaning of all surfaces etc. & disposing off debris outside colony etc.complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Repainting of old painted surfaces with two coats of Oil bound distemper of approved make & shade over two coats of approved primer consist of thoroughly scrapping oil bound distemper/ white wash surface, applying a coat of approved cement primer, filling upthe cracks with approved crack filling compound, applying approved stucco putty to entire surface to fill up crevices, mild depression etc. thoroughly scrapping the surface, applying 2nd coat of approved cement primer over putty work, apply two coats of Oil bound distemper paint including necessary covering material and removal of splashing & droppings from floors, walls including scaffolding, ladder as required & disposing off debris within colony etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
Repainting of old painted surfaces with two coats of premium quality acrylic emulsion paint of approved make & shade over two coats of approved primer consist of thoroughly scrapping oil bound distemper/ acrylic emulsion/ white wash surface, applying a coat of approved cement primer, filling upthe cracks with approved crack filling compound, applying approved stucco putty to entire surface to fill up crevices, mild depression etc. thoroughly scrapping the surface, applying 2nd coat of approved cement primer carrying out full stucco putty work, apply two coats of acrylic emulsion paint including necessary covering material and removal of splashing & droppings from floors, walls including scaffolding, ladder as required & disposing off debris within colony etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
Repainting of old painted surfaces with two coats Flat oil paint of approved shade and make over two coats of approved cement primer consist of thoroughly scrapping of all types of old painted surfaces , applying a coat of approved cement primer, filling upthe cracks with approved crack filling compound, applying approved stucco putty to entire surface to fill up crevices, mild depression etc. thoroughly scrapping the surface, applying 2nd coat of approved cement primer over putty work, apply two coats of Flat oil paint including necessary covering material and removal of splashing & droppings from floors, walls including scaffolding, ladder as required & disposing off debris within colony etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
Painting old wood/ steel work with two coats of Synthetic enamel paint of approved shade & make over one coat of primer including preparing surfaces, through scapping of MS work, filling with putty wherever required, scaffolding & cleaning etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
a) On wooden surfaces with two finishing coat over a coat of wood primer.
b) On steel surfaces with two finishing coats over a coat of steel primer.
Applying three coats of Touch wood of approved make & tint to obtain finish as required over a coat of wood filler including sand papering, cleaning, filling up holes, cracks & crevices with putty etc. complete to give an uniform shade Engineer- in- Charge.
Providing and applying three finished coats of exterior grade acrylic based emulsion (Over sand faced plastered surfaces/ RCC Jalli/ fins ) of Apex Ultima of M/s. Asian Paints / Excel of M/s. Nerolac/ Heatshield of M/s. Dr.FIXIT/ Weathershield Max of M/s. ICI Delux or other approved equivalent make and shade over the sand face/ rough cast plaster/ RCC jalli / RCC fins at locations as required, including preparation in proportion of One litre of Apex Ultima or other makes with 400 ML. of potable water, thoroughly mixed and applied at an interval of 4-6 hours for each successive coats and ensure consumption of 0.27 ltr/ Sqm for 3 coats including scaffoliding ,preparation of surface, cleaning and filling the cracks and crevices with Latex caulking crack filler etc. complete generally as per the manufacturer's specification and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
Demolishing RCC works by chiseling at all levels including scaffolding,cutting of reinforcement bars by gas cutting, straightening and stackingof steel bars and disposal of unserviceable materials complete all per specification & as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
Demolishing brick/ stone masonry in cement mortar and plaster at all floors & levels including scaffolding, stacking of serviceable materials & disposing off unserviceable materials etc. complete all as per specification & as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
a) Brick/ Stone masonary work.
Repairs to damaged RCC structural members at all locations/ floors using polymer modified cementatious mortar, for strengthening the existing RCC structural members using polymer and comprising the following operations: i) Breaking cracked/ spalled concrete members along the cracks with plaster including removing and stacking of all unserviceable material at site, simultaneous transportation and disposal of debris outside colony etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer- in Charge. ii) Exposing and cleaning the reinforcement thoroughly by light tapping/ wire brushing of using strong emery paper and finally by acetone/ rust remover of Dr. Fixit/ Anuvi Chemicals/ Fosroc or other equivalent. iii) Applying a coat of polymer and cement slurry in the ratio 1:1 by volume to the reinforcement bars. iv) Polymer required for the work shall be procured by the Agency from approved Manufacturers Like M/s Astra , M/s Anuvi, M/s Apcotex or other approved equivalent. Manufacturer confirming to technical requirements as below and the invoices/challans etc. to be submitted to EIC for record. Appearance: Milky white Ph- value : 9-10 Specific gravity : 1.055+/-0.005 Solid contents(%w/w)-: 44+/-1 Viscosity at 25 degree C temperature (in sec): 15-20 Testing of the material as per relevant codes at NABL approved third party Lab. is to be done by the Agency for every batch/lot of supply. 5. Bond coat should be applied @ 0.37 ltr./layer/sq.m. 6. Minimum FM of silica sand should be 2.10
a) Building up with polymer modified cementatious mortar for RCC structural members etc. in layers not exceeding 20 mm in a day (proportion – cement 50 Kg. : Silica sand 125 Kg. : polymer liquid 10 ltrs.) with necessary bond coat (polymer : Cement = 1:1 by volume) for tack coat and also for subsequent layers using polymer including curing, covering the flooring/ window with tarpaulins or equivalent covering material to avoid deposition of polymer mortar and cleaning of floor/ windows thoroughly on completion of repair work etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. Note : Polymer used for this work in Kg shall be measured for payment.
Providing & erecting double bamboo scaffolding using minimum 75 mm dia best quality bamboo tied with coir rope & the horizontal & vertical members of the bamboos provided as required at spacing of not more than 900 mm apart both vertically & horizontally including providing cross supports as struts to tie the scaffolding properly to the building for maintenance/ repair works of external surfaces of buildings as & when required including providing necessary safety belts to workers, dismantling the scaffolding after repair work is completed including cost of transportation, labour, safety belts etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. NOTE: The mode of measurement shall be in square metre for the overall portion of external exposed surface area of buildings covered by scaffolding and the said area shall be measured flat. No deductions shall be made for any openings in the surface and the jambs/ reveals.
a) Double Scaffolding.
Providing and laying at all floors and levels Vitrified tiles of first quality Marbonite of M/s. H & R JHONSON (INDIA) Ltd. or other equivalent approved make of approved colour, shade, pattern and of thickness as per manufacture's specifications, laid directly over tile, using polymer cum cement based adhesive (Type -II as per IS) manufactured by M/s. Roffe Construction or M/s. Bal Endura Chemicals or other approved equivalent in respect of flooring and fixed over 12 mm thick backing using ready mix cement mortar 1:3 in respect of skirting, close jointed and grouted white/colour cement slurry with pigments to match the colour of the tiles, finished to level, line, slope and plumb including cutting of tiles, making openings/ cut out where necessary including wastage for odd shape of room and final cleaning of surfaces as required, curing etc. complete all as per specification, relevant IS code & as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
a) In flooring with tiles of approx. size 600 mm X 600 mm similar to Salt & Pepper (White/ Grey)/ Rigato/ Athelon of M/s. H & R Johnson (I) ltd. Or similar tile of other approved make, laid directly over existing tile using tile on tile polymer cum cement based adhesive.
b) In Dado/ skirting with tiles of size 600 X 100 mm similar to Salt & Pepper (White/ Grey)/ Rigato/ Athelon of M/s. H & R Johnson (I) ltd. Or similar laid over 12 mm thick ready mix cement mortar 1:3 backing, jointed with cement slurry & grouted with pigment of matching shade & finishing the top of skirting etc. complete including dismantling the existing dado/ skirting tile and backing cement mortar disposal of debris etc. complete.
Providing & laying at all floors & levels first quality ceramic tiles of minimum thickness as specified by the manufacturer of M/s. H & R JOHNSON (INDIA) Ltd. or euqivalent approved make of approved colors, shade and texture in flooring/ dado/ skirting as per approved pattern incluidng cost of all materials including of cutting the tiles to required shape, wastage, pointing the joints with white cement mixed with matching pigments to match the colour of the tiles, finished to line, level, slope & plumb, final cleaning of surface as required, curing, making necessary opening cutouts etc. and including removing existing flooring/ dado and disposing off debris complete all as per specifications, relevant IS code & as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
a) In flooring with tiles of size 300X 300 (approx size) similar to white/ ivory/ other approved colour quartze series of M/s. H & R Johnson or equivalent approved make with 20 mm thick 1:4 ready mix Cement mortar bedding.
b) In Dado/ skirting with tiles of size 300 X 450 mm (approx size) similar to Digital HD series tile Linea blue/ snow white of M/s. H & R Johnson (India) Limited or euqivalent approved make fixed over 12 mm thick ready mix cement mortar 1:4 backing/ fixed directly over existing tile with polymer cum cement based adhesive (Type-II) manufactured by Roffe Construction or M/s. Bal Endura Chemicals or other approved equivalent jointed with cement slurry & grouted with pigment of matching shade & finishing the top of skirting/ dado etc. complete.
Supplying & fixing 25 mm thick PVC integral free foam sheet in form of flush finish door shutter, manufactured by M/s. Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. (Ex-cel sheet) or other equivalent approved make of white colour, solid section, extruded rigid, light weight sheet with fine & homogeneous closed cell structure with smooth, glossy, hard surface finish on both sides including providing recessions for hinges and providing & fixing 3 nos. 100 mm heavy duty S.S. hinges and 2 Nos. 100 mm heavy duty Aluminium baby latches, 2 nos. of 100 mm Aluminium Bow handles with back plate and including providing a vision panel opening of size 300 mm X 200 mm including providing and fixing PVC moulded louvers on both faces in the opening of vision panel with ss screws, all edges to be smooth finish with mixture of PVC powder & solvent etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. Repairing of loose / shaky vitrified tile flooring at all floors and levels using polymer modified cement based tile adhesive manufactured by Roffe Construction – NSA (Non Skid Adhesive) or M/s. Bal Endura Chemicals– Gold Star or other approved equivalent. The repairing process will consists of following. (1) Complete checking by tapping of affected flooring area using solid wooden stick. Identifying the affected tiles for repair work. (2) Drilling holes through tiles and widenining of tile joints using cutter as per requirement. (3) Breaking of tiles and removing backing adhesive from original flooring, cleaning etc. (If Required). Checking the original flooring by tapping using solid wooden stick and repairing of original flooring by breaking the original mosaic/ cement tile flooring and filling with 1:3 cement sand mortar, curing etc. complete. (4) Grouting the tile flooring using tile adhesive slurry through drilled holes, widened joints, opening made by tile breaking using trowel etc and by tapping of floor tiles etc. (5) Sealing of drilled holes, widened joints using white cement cleaning of flooring, removal of debris and disposal of debris outside colony. (6) Complete checking by tapping of repaired flooring area using solid wooden stick after 7 days of repairing work in presence of departmental representative. The repaired work shall not make any hollow sound, loose/shaky motion of tiles. The entire repairing work shall be carried out as per direction and instrcutions of engineer-in-charge.

Carrying out repairing work for existing damaged/ rusted/ leaking GI pipe wall piece (of dia 32/40 mm) of RCC over head water tank at all levels & location as per procedure given below including providing, supplying, fixing all required labour, tools, plant, machinery, scaffolding, cutting wastage, water testing, checking etc. complete all as per best practice, specifications and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. Draining out the all water stored in domestic/ flushing water tank as required. (2) Disconnecting the existing damaged/ rusted/ leaking GI water pipe line of outlet of domestic/ flushing tank. Carefully removing damaged wall pipece with wall plate etc. completely. Cleaning the existing RCC water tank wall hole and filling & plugging with micro concrete to achieve complete water tightness. Finishing and repairing using ready mix cement mortar from inside & outside of tank at nearby area of damaged old outlet. (3) Providing and making cores in wall of over head RCC wall tank having dia suitable for providing & fixing heavy quality GI pipe wall piece of sleeve (of 32/40 mm) using electric operated core cutting machine and including providing & fixing heavy quality GI pipe wall piece/ sleeve of dia 32/ 40 mm & length 600 mm (approx) for outlet/ scour pipe including making outer surface of pipe rough and filling surrounding of new wall piece with arladite, micro concrete, polymer mortar etc. to achieve complete water tightness. (4) After setting of mortar in abandoned hole & surrounding of new core, filling the water in over head water tank for testing leak proof ness for seven day. After ensuring complete water tightness, making connection for water supply from newly fixed outlet pipe incuding providing & fixing all required material, labour, fittings, wastage, scaffolding, fittings, specials etc. disconnection of temporary water supply & making water supply from new outlet pipe etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.

Providing cement based waterproofing treatment to the sunken floor of water closets, bath rooms, nahanis, washing places etc. giving injections to the concrete surface as required with cement and approved waterproofing compound solution to fill all inherent holes, voids, honey-combs etc. in the concrete, applying waterproof plaster of about 25 mm thick for the floor areas of the depression and about 18mm on the side walls of the depression and continue the vertical treatment on the walls above the proposed floor finish upto a height of 600 mm with surface suitable and even to receive tiles including applying one coat of zycosil coating with (1 zycoil : 20 Water) solution testing the treatment for water tightness by impounding water for 7days etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. Notes:- i) The contractor shall furnish guarantee bond on appropriate stamp paper in the proforma as per Appendix 'D' for the entire waterproofing treatment for maintaining the surroundings and under side surfaces of the waterproofing treatment in bone dry condition for 5 years. During the guarantgee period the contractor shall attend all leakages, defects etc. if noticed, free of cost, starting the work of checking up and rectification within a week's time from the date of intimation about such leakages/ defects. ii) The measurement for payment shall be actual area covered by the treatment. iii) The waterproof brick bat coba filling coming over the waterproof plaster shall be measured in Cum separately and the cost of the same is not incuded in this item.
Labour charges only for carefully removing of all type of chokages as & when required at various floor levels from kitchen sink, wash basins, bathrooms, water closets, gully trap chambers, internal inspection chambers & drain pipes in service shafts of residential & non- residential building viz low rise building having Ground + 1 & upto Ground + 4 upper floors incluinding cleaning existing ACC & waste soil pipes stone ware pipe lead/ CP brass 'P' trap and bottal traps etc. of the above sanitary fixtures by the rodding or other suitable means like mechanical choke remover machine with KIWI Drainage chemicals hand pumps and all other cost for incidential charges to complete the job, whenever found necessary including throroughly removing the dirt, seware sludge and miscellaneous rubbish in and around the inspection gully trap chambers & disposing at the same away from building within a lead of 150 m or to the nearest disposal ground including washing the floor aeras in service shafts with phenyl water all inclusive of labour ,tools, phenyl etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. Notes:- 1) The contractor shall make his own arrangement for opeining & closing of plugs of cleaning eyes for waste soil pipes, lead trap etc. at his own cost. 2) The chokages complaints shall be attend proparly by the contractor by arranging sufficient number of labour commensurate with the magnitude of work involved. The labour shall be made available daily for full day for his working days a week during the working hours of the maintenance office.
a) Chokes in bath/ WC/ Kitchen sink/ wash basin.
b) Chokes in gully trap.
c) Manhole inspection chambers.
Providing & fixing on Exposed or concealed surfaces the following dia Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (C-PVC) pipe of specified class of M/s. SUREME/ PRINCE or other approved equivalent consisting following items of work:- i) Supplying & fixing C-PVC pipes including necessary all fittings conforming to IS 15778. ii) Laying and fixing the pipe and specials on exposed surfaces to correct line, level and plumb for water supply line, overflow and vent using M.S. nails/ screws, rawl plugs, wooden gutties and branded clamps of Supreme/ Prince make to the pipeline as per the site requirement. iii) Testing the pipe line to a hydraulic pressure as per manufacturers cataglouge for leak proof joint or as per relevant code. iv) Making leak proof threaded/ solvent joints. including cutting the pipe, Joint preparartion, cleaning, marking, application of solvent, assembling, curing etc. and the cost of jointing cement solvent materials. v) Cutting or making hole or chases in RCC or brick work structure such as wall, column, beam, slab, chajja, dado etc. for passing the pipe line and reinstating all the damage to its original condition. proof joints. vi) Providing and fixing C-PVC jointable/ threaded fittings such as Union, Nipples, Bendes, Elbows, Tees, Reducers, End caps, Couplers, Adaptors, Saddles, Plugs, Tank connectors, Expansion loops, Bypass bends etc. vii) Including removing existing GI pipe line with fittings and specials etc. Note:- All brass threaded elbows and fittings shall be with additional support type of M/s. Prine, Supreme or other equivalent approved by Engineer- in- Charge including necessary fixing arrangement such as screws, plug etc. complete. SDR 11 Pipes and Fittings (Mode measurement:- The measurement shall per Unit RM length of pipe line laid or fixed. The measurement shall be taken along centre line of pipe. No measurement shall be recorded saperately for fittings etc. )

Providing chemical based water proofing treatment of approved make (Indofil/ Pidilite/ Asian) over bath/ WC brick bat coba & other locations as per the following procedure: a) Cleaning completely the existing surafce to remove all dirt with wire metal brush. b) Applying a primer coat of water proofing compound (diluted with clean water as per recommendations of manufacturer) over the entire area to be treated including filling up of cracks, if any with CM-1:3 mixed with waterproofing compound. c) Applying a first coat with water proofing compound with cement in 1:1 ratio. d) Providing and spreading of polycon based fibrous water proofing net for entire area including lapping as per manufacturer's specifications immediately after applying first coat and curing. e) Applying second coat with water proofing compond with cement in 1:1 ratio over the polycon based fibrous net. f) Applying top coat with undiluated water proofing compound. Notes: i) The entire work shall be carried out a per manufacturer's specification and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. ii) The contractor shall furnish guarantee bond on appropriate stamp paper in the proforma as per Appendix 'D' for the entire waterproofing treatment for maintaining the surroundings and under side surfaces of the waterproofing treatment in bone dry condition for 5 years. Providing & fixing large flat back half stall urinal of size 610 mm X 400 mm X 380 mm of M/s. Hindustan Sanitaryware/ CERA Brand/ Neycer or approved equivalent supported on suitable wall brackets with 32 mm n.b. heavy quality Dripless/ Kingston make C. P. brass bottle trap with extension piece and wall flange suitable heavy C. P. brass waste including C. P. dome grating etc. complete all as directed by Engineer- in- Charge.
Providing and fixing in position precast RCC covers for pits / chambers etc. of 1:1:2 mix. using graded stone aggregate 20 mm maximum size, with MS frame work including form work, compaction, finishing with a coat of neat cement punning for all surfaces, curing and including reinforcement etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Necessary Rainforcement & MS work will be paid under relevent item).
