SCHEDULE A BOQ

Dismantling/ taking down old existing unserviceable cement plaster, loose/ unsound weaken cement concrete of any description and in any position from existing external / internal surface of RCC roof/slab/beams/columns/RCC facias for an average depth of 25mm (Approx height 7.5m from natural ground level) with power driven pneumatic flat/pointed chisel and removing the honeycombed area including all the corners and making a neat profile of the cavities, roughen the smooth surface, scrapping out/removing corrosion all loose/scale/rust etc from the visible reinforcement by applying rust remover such as Rust Off 100 of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s STP Limited, and cleaning the steel reinforcement properly to receive concrete as specified below all as manufacturers instructions and all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.The unit rate quoted against this item is deemed to include finishing the distrubed concrete surface as given below:-

(i) Providing cement based angle fillet for 75mm X 75mm admixed with Sikacim, integral waterproofing liquid, M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s STP Limited, @ 0.2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer’s instructions over a coat of acrylic emulsion bonding agent such as Sika Latex in 1:1:3 ratio of Make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/S Fosroc chemicals, M/s STP Limited having specific gravity of 1.02 or as per manufacturer’s instructions with necessary surface preparation such as creating mechanical key like roughing the surface by scrabbing, grit blasting and cleaning the existing surface using high pressure water jet machine having pressure upto 500 bar pressure to remove the dirt, dust, loose particles , wax, efforencene and other contaminations from the surface of RCC columns/beams/slabs/facia/any brick/stone surfaces etc all as manufactures and all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(ii) Providing and applying FRIAZINC R, corrosion inhabiliting Active Zinc rich primer of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s STP Limited along the exposed reinforcement surface property and allowed to dry.

(iii) Providing and applying Hibond, Epoxy based Thixotropic bonding adhesive of Make of M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s STP Limited over the prepared concrete surface to get a good bonding between existing concrete surface and providing Sika Rep Microcrete 4 Fiber reinforced cementitious repair micro concrete of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s STP Limited over Epoxy based bonding agent applied area before 6 Hrs etc including providing necessary proportions , bracing and runners to relieve the member from the load coming on it including scaffolding leak proof shuttering with working platform as required and as per design and pattern complete including preparing the surface to match with the existing surface all as specified and directed.

M&L Providing and filling epoxy putty into all well defined stone crack after opening up cracks in V grooves manner approximate 5X5mm size using mechanical cutter , cleaning shall be done to make it free from dirt,dust,loose particles and other contamination by using wire brush and compressed air blowers all as manufacturers instructions to receive following treatment for making good all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge:-

(i) Mixing base and hardner of Sikadur 31, 2-part thixotropic epoxy adhesive of Make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s STP Limited and having 100% solid contents, mixing density of 1.90kg/lit and compressive strength of 60N/sqmm using slow speed electrically operated mixing paddle(200-300RPM) and whilst the adhesive along the prepared surface and set flat upto the existing concrete profile and ensure to finishing the same using levelling trowel to remove the excess materials under tacky condition upto the existing concrete profile etc complete as per specification approved by the Engineer-in-charge

Note for Item No. 2 to Item No. 7 of BOQ :- (a) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the any following manufacturer only :- M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s STP Limited.

(b) A performance guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified.

(c) The unit rate quoted is deemed to include for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land.

M&L Water proofing treatment of existing roofs as per details given below after complete removal of existing water proofing treatment and expose of top surface of RCC slab of any thickness, any type by stripping out old tar felt over roofs, parapets, chimney stacks etc laid horizontally or vertically including taking out layer of cement plaster etc and cleaning the surface with water and using wire brush including removing debris to outside the MOD land complete all as specified and as directed :-

(a) Dismantling existing cement concrete/ roof tiles on roof including removing debris to outside MOD land as directed.

(b) Bring upto the slope by providing filling of light weight materials such as cinder, light weight concrete etc as required & then providing PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates of average thickness of 50 mm.

(c) Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 on concrete roof surfaces and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing water proofing compound as per manufacturer’s instructions.

(d) Surface should be free from any loose paint, dust or grease. Remove all existing bitumen coatings completely by using intense wire brushing, high speed water jet & vacuum cleaner for thorough cleaning of the surface to avoid ‘Peeling off’ problems.

(e) All cracks at corner joints, channels and parapets should be properly treated. For filling cracks upto 3mm crack seal material of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical to be used. Bigger cracks, damaged portions & hollow areas must be repaired with polymer modified cement mortar.

(f) Apply a coat of self priming smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical with 33% dilution with water using brush/roller on newly plastered surface after curing as per IS-456 and allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours (dilution & forced coverage requirement strictly as per manufacturer’s instructions).

(g) After the primed surface has dried, apply first coat of water proofing smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical using brush/roller on the same primed surface & allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours.

(h) Prepare for apply 2nd coat of water proofing smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical using brush/roller on the same surface. The temp to be maintained 25 to 35° C through out the all above application work.

(j) In case of severe dampness an additional coat of damp proof materials to be applied.

Note for item No 11 to 20 :- (i) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the following manufacturers only. MOU to be submitted before commencement of work. Make : M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical

(ii) A performance guarantee certificate for 10 years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified.

(iii) The unit quoted rate is deemed to include taking down of water pipeline, tanks, wires (etc) found on roof and refix at the original position after complete treatment of roof.

(iv) The unit quoted rate shall be inclusive of material, all labours, tools and plants including scaffolding required for working upto approx 7.5 mtr height from natural ground level.

(v) The unit rate quoted for item is deemed to include for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land.

(vi) Adoption of necessary safety arrangement like safety belts, ropes, helmets, netting etc. which are required for safety of working labour at height exceeding 3 to 25 mtr height shall be mandatary and deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

M&L Preparation of plastered or un plastered old surfaces of walls, Chajja, balcony, facia etc. by brooming down or steel wire brushing scrapping down, smoke shoots moulds, mass efforescent salt, treating oil and greasy spots etc and applying one coat of cement based paint complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surface of wall, chajja, balcony, facia etc., brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent, trading, oil, greasy spots and applying one coat of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of old plastered or unplastered surface of ceiling brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent , trading, oil, greasy spotsand applying one coat of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of old plastered surfaces of wall by using pressure washer, removal all dirt and dust and applying one coat of exterior emulsion weater proof paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of old decorated existing external surfaces of walls and providing one coat of acrylic washable distemper complete all as specified.

Complete removal of existing treatment of any type/description such as distempering work, internal emulsion etc from internal surfaces of walls & ceiling with mechanical means/ grinder, then applying wall care putty on internal surfaces of walls/ceilings as required for desired smoothness and levelling of surfaces by using ready made wall care putty including sand papering and after filling the putty apply two coats of plastic emulsion over a coat of primer complete all specificed and as directed. Notes : (i) The prepared surface after wall putty, the contractor will inform to the Engineer-in-Charge before applying further surface finishes. Please note that the further surface finishes work will start only after approval of the prepared surface from the Engineer-in-Charge .

M&L Vitrified Ceramic tiles 10 mm thick, dark shade (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match, laid over and including screed bed or bedding layer ,15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:6 including taking down existing tile and removing rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Vitrified Ceramic tiles 10 mm thick, dark shade (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 sqm, as in skirting/dado. etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match, laid over and including screed bed or bedding layer ,10 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:3 including taking down existing tile and removing rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 33 & 34 : (a) Vitrified tiles are classified under group B1a of the international Standard for ceramic tiles ISO: 13006. Tiles shall be hard, dense, impervious and frost resistant. Water absorption of tiles shall be less than 0.5% and flexural strength (Modulus of Rupture) shall be more than 35 N/Sqmm. (b) The manufacturer's test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority.

Demolition of brick work masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars etc., complete all as specified and directed.Note: Serviceable tiles shall be stacked separately for reuse.

M&L Fly ash Brick work using modular bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Description all as per Sl item No 37 here in before but except bricks.Note: Serviceable bricks obtained from Sl item No 36 to be used.

M&L Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately. (b) The unit rate quoted is deemed to include for removal of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete or ceilings etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises and leaving the work clear of any plastering and material and labour for Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. (a) Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately.

Supply only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed. Make ;- Dr. Fixit pidi proof and equivalent.

M&L preparation of newly plastered surfaces wall/ ceiling and applying three coats of white washing on ceiling/ walls surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L applying two coats of cement based paint over and including one coat of primer, including preparation of newly plastered wall surfaces of any description, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Bullnosed chequered cement concrete tiles 30cm x 30cm x 25mm thick machine pressed set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry as in treads and cut and polished using grey cement and pigments over screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick for laying floor fnishes in cement mortar (1:4) including taking down existing tiles complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in Charge. Note :- The manufacturer's test certificate of tiles must be submitted for approval by the concered authority.

M&L Chequered cement concrete tiles machine pressed set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry on vertical surfaces as in skirting, dados and risers of steps and cut and polished using grey cement and pigments over back coat of mortar 10mm thick for laying floor fnishes in cement mortar (1:3) including taking down existing tiles complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in Charge.

M&L Preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surface of wall, brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent , treading, oil, greasy spots and applying one coat oil bound distemper complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Preparation of old plastered surfaces of wall by using pressure washer, including removal of existing colour/treatment and dirt, dust etc and applying two coats of exterior emulsion paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Preparation of old decorated surfaces of walls by using pressure washer, remove existing colour/treatment and dirt, dust etc ,applying one coat of wall care putty and then apply two coat of oil bound distemper of required shade over one complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M&L preparation of surfaces and applying reflective paint for Writing letters or figures (Block,Roman,Italic or Indian) n. exc 30 CM high complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L preparation of surfaces and applying reflective paint for Stop, commas, short lines, dashes, hyphens, brackets etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surface of wall, brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds, mass, efflorescent , treading, oil, greasy spots including removal of existing colour/treatment, dirt, dust etc and applying two coats oil bound distemper complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Preparation of old steel painted surface of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and as directed .

Note for item No 51 & 52 :- (a) All aluminium paint, shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint, will be approved by the GE.

(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.

M&L Cleaning the existing EPU floors surfaces free from dust, dirt, moistrure, oil, grease and all foreign materials from the floor, grinding the floor and applying self levelled course of PU (Polyurethance) top coat (high gloss, chemical resistant and light reflective) containg intestates to yield a thickness of 1000 microns after a coat of primer all as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and as directed. Make: CIPY/SIKA/BASF/Thermax/Choksey

M&L preparation of treated surfaces of any description and applying one coat of Yellow/White marking with aromatic PU coating, FK 666 as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and as directed. (Make:- Cipy polyurethanes Pvt Ltd/ sika / chokesey/Thermax)

M&L Factory made UPVC three track sliding Window frame having 2 tracks for glass shutter and 1 track for mosquito sash made of upvc profile section of size 73mm x 42mm (wxh) having outer wall thickness of 2.0mm(+/-0.2mm). Sliding glass shutter shall be made of UPVC section of size 55mm x 33mm and sliding wire mesh shutter shall be made of UPVC section of size 40mm x 22mm. All section of the frame, sash, transom & mullion, as applicable, shall be duly reinforced with G/J/U/O shape galvanised mild steel section of required thickness considering structural / wind load requirement. System shall be provided with the suitable upvc bead for glazing of the system & fitted with inner & outer EPDM seal gaskets. Clear Glass of Saint Gobain / Modiguard make with thickness of 4mm and stainless steel wire cloth of 0.19mm nominal dia. All welded joints are to be neatly trimmed & feature grooved/raised nib finish so make the finished product free from all sharp edges & burrs. All the corner / mullion / transom joints of the frame and sash shall be mitered cut & fusion welded without any mechanical joining. System shall have adequate drainage mechanism to permit the escape of water from horizontal member beneath each sealed unit. System is to be provided with proper operating & locking hardware mechanism. Window locking system will be either both side push lock system or semi-circle locking system in centre. Complete window shall be fixed in to the existing pre finished aperture, by drilling and fixing through the outer frame using quality fasteners & silicon glue is applied to fill up the crevice between wall and window frame for leak proof installation including taking existing one complete all as specified. Note: - The contractor shall submit 5 years warranty certificate for upvc profile and 1 year warranty certificate for hardwares.

Factory made UPVC Ventilators design will be like top part fixed with exhaust fan provision and bottom part with fixed louver strips.Ventilators frame made of upvc profile section of size 45mm x 43mm (wxh) having outer wall thickness of 2.0mm(+/-0.2mm). Wherever required /specified, system shall havev the fix mullion of size 45mm x 60mm having outer wall thickness of 2.0mm(+/- 0.2mm). All section of the frame,transom & mullion shall be duly reinforced with G/J/U/O shape galvanised mild steel section of required thickness considering structural / wind load requirement. System shall be provided with the suitable upvc bead for glazing of the system & fitted with inner & outer EPDM seal gaskets. Pinhead Glass with thickness of 4mm required for fixed & louvers strips. All welded joints are to be neatly trimmed & feature grooved/raised nib finish so make the finished product free from all sharp edges & burrs. M&L in repairs granite 18 to 20mm thick (table rubbed and polished) in steps,Jamps, Pillars, Windows, cills, platforms and like CM (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigments to match with marble shade of Granite over screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick for laying floor finishes in cement mortar (1:4) all as specified and as directed. Note : (a) The Unit rate quoted is included for Demolition of Stone Slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc laid bedded and pointed in any mortar (b) The unit rate is deemed to be included for rounding to edges of stone slabs.

S&F Framed work such as grills , grating ,etc with ends of bars shouldered and or revated for forged in to spike, framed guard bars barred iron doors, ladders, balusters, walk ways raling framed work for water tanks similar work confirming to Fe -290 Gde E-165 including dismantling existing complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Joist, channel,angles or tee sections fixed independently, without connection platess etc including dismantling existing complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, with riveted , bolted or welded attachment.(Fe 410 -W (Gde- E-250) quality -A including dismantling existing complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from wooden frames/steel frames glazed with putty or fixed with beads and material and labour for 4mm plain sheet glass ordinary quality and glazed with oil putty or fixed with fillets 2nd class hard wood of sectional area not exc 3 Sqcm and glass not exc 0.5 sqm each pane complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from wooden frames/steel frames glazed with putty or fixed with beads and material and labour for 4mm plain sheet glass ordinary quality and glazed with oil putty or fixed with fillets 2nd class hard wood of sectional area not exc 3 Sqcm and glass exc 0.5 sqm each pane complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Figured glass, pinhead type 3 mm thickwith oil putty in squares not exceeding 0.5 Sq. m in each pane, with beads, complete dismantling all as specified & directed complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L preparation of new steel surfaces of any description exc 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Preparation of old painted surfaces of steel over 10 cm width or girth, not other wise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint using mechanical means complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Preparation of old painted wooden surface of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint using mechanical means complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 72 to 74 :- (a) All synthetic enamel paint, shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

M&L Checking of floor, plinth, plaster etc requiring masonry work and carrying out minor repairs such as edges, patches etc, including petty repairs material like sand, cement & aggregate to make it functional complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The rates for plastering / plinth include for: (a) Preparing the surfaces. (b) Thickness of plaster/plinth key in joints, etc as per existing. (f) Plastering in patches (in repairs), exc 3 sq.m each patch, for preparing old walls to receive plastering'. Nothing extra shall be admissible for matching with existing work etc. (g) Any individual patch (other than nail hole, plug hole, etc.) are included for provided existing surface finish .
