SCH 'A' PART VIII (MISC B/R & E/M ITEMS)

(A) HARDSTANDING

M&L for 300 mm thick WMM in three layers (each layer of 100 mm compacted thickness) confirming to the grading given in Table 400 - 13 and physical requirement as per Table 400 -12 , spread with mechanical means and rolled using 8-10 T vibrating power roller over compacted sub grade surface as specified in clause 406.3.5 on page 134-135 MORT & H complete all as directed.

Material & Labour for 20 mm wide expansion joints upto full depth of concrete slab (150mm) filled with pre formed compressibe filler board (Silfex Supreme Base) precut at specified depth, provision of closed cell polythene backup rod 25mm dia (minimum depth over backup rod shall be 14-15mm), 02 coats of priming the vertical side of joints and sealing the joint (Top 12mm) with and using cold applied polyurethane sealant conforming to requirement of BS-5212 type FB and applying masking tape on edge at joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied. Sealant should have MAF minimum ± 30% and manufacturer's warranty for 10 (ten) years complete all as per manufacturer's instructions all as specified.

Material & Labour for 8mm wide, 22-23 mm deep construction joints. 02 coats of priming and providing a backup rod 10mm dia, and sealed with and using cold applied polyurethane sealant (Top 10mm leaving 2-3 mm recess ) conforming to requirement of BS-5212 type FB and applying masking tape on edge at joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied. Sealant should have MAF minimum ± 30% and manufacturer's warranty for 10 (ten) years complete all as per manufacturer's instructions all as specified.

(B) HAZARD DIVISION SYMBOL BOARD

S&F Hazard division symbol board by using double legged informatory sign board fixed on single frame and meeting back to back on the square pipe. Double sided boards are made. The boards are of high intensity Green/blue or as required color grade retro-reflective sheeting of AVERY DENNISOX made out of 2 mm thick Alco bond/aluminium sheet conforming to IS 736 to be covered with high intensity grade retro-reflective sheeting(avery dennison) of Green/Blue or required colour as per user. The whole is fixed to sheet and fixed with suitable adhesive to alco bond/alluminium sheet painted with epoxy paint to standard make, fixed to structural sheet frame work of MS pipe of size 35 x 35mm square pipe with nuts, bolts/rivets ensuring safely against removal of plates. The lettering is computerised cut of high intensity grade white sheetig (Avery Dennison) and mechanically fixed on this board of Green/Blue colour or required colour. Then these two separate boards fixed back to back on single frame are fixed to two vertical posts of 50mm square pipe 2.50 mtr long to be painted in black white alternative bands of 25cm height with synthetic enamel paint complete in all respect. This boards on single frame are fixed throught PCC 1:4:8: including excavation in post hole. The size of board is 1.50m x 1.50m.

(C) LIGHTENING PROTECTION

Taking down existing Aluminium strips of any size/description from roof/on walls / on poles and removing materials to store for safe custody or for reuse at site or issue under Schedule of credit and making good to the disturbed surfaces to match the existing complete all as specified.(208+270)

Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 6mm thick buried directly to ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below the ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to GI strip 32 x 6 mm size and earthing lead protected with 40 mm dia GI pipe light grade filling around with charcoal dust and salt including excavation, returning, filling of earth and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and connected to GI strip by means of GI nuts, bolts and washers strip connected to earth plate including chamber PCC 1:3:6 type C1. using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in concrete pit pre-cast RCC 40 mm thick reinforced with 8 mm dia round at the rate of 75 mm c/c both way with 12 mm dia mild steel plain bar lifting handle 2 nos. funnel with wire mesh 20 mm dia GI pipe medium grade watering pipe and frame work complete all as shown in electrical plate no. 3 of SSR Part - I 2009 including testing complete. (GI strip upto 7.5 m length in included in unit rate quoted by contractor and beyond this length the same shall be measured & paid seprately.(36+16)

Material and labour for Earthing complete with copper plate electrode 600 x 600 x 3mm thick buried directly in ground vertically (in earth pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level) with the top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15cm on all sides and incl copper earth strip 20x 3 mm bolted (with copper/brass nuts, bolts & check nuts) and riveted to earth plate at one end and connected to test point terminal block etc, earth strip encased in and including 40 mm bore GI Light grade pipe with all fittings from top of electrode to body of equipment fixed with and including 25x6mm flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washer and also including providing watering pipe 20 mm bore GI pipe medium grade from bottom of earth pit to top of elctrode complete with earth pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-O using 12 mm graded curshed stone aggregate and RCC cover complete all specified and shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Pt-I. The scope of work also includes necessary excavation and earthwork. NOTE:- Copper strip beyond 7.5 metres shall be measured and paid seperately. (2 +8)

Material & Labour for fixing GI pipe light grade 40 mm dia not more than 60 cm embedded on PCC including cutting and welding MS sheet 4mm thick of size 50 x 50 mm on one side including making hole of 12 mm dia on MS sheet and providing suitable size nut over the MS sheet for fixing air termination rod all as directed and specified.

S&F Post insulator epoxy LV type suitable for aluminium strip 25x3mm lightening conductor fixed on wall/roof/pole/floor including screw, gutti complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay in trenches/fixed to walls HDPE pipe 40 mm dia light grade for protection of earth strip complete fixing with suitable clamps at regular intervals all as specified and as directed.

S&F flame proof & weather proof distribution board approved by CMRI Dhanbad of Cast aluminium LM-6, MCB type , SPN-08 way with 32 Amp SPN with rotary switch on incomer and MCB SP 'C' series 10 KA , 20A- 6 Nos with rotary switch on outgoing all as specified and as directed.

Note: The amount against schedule of credit on serial page no. 49 shall be deducted from the total amount quoted against schedule 'A' while deriving the lumpsum for acceptance.
