M&L for Racking out of old existing sealant compound, back up rod of the existing EXPANSION JOINTS 25 mm to 30 mm wide by special tools like racker/cutting blades/diamond cutters machine operated with generator sets , Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes. Thereafter filled with closed cell medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of minimum 30 mm dia before pouring the sealant for complete length of the joint. Finally filled with polyurethane joint sealant (12 to 15 mm depth) using caulking gun over backup rod meeting the requirements mentioned in BS-5212, BS4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor MAF of+/- 30%. Make - M/s Bostik/Fosroc/Cipy/Sika/Choksey. Note :- (i) The rate shall be inclusive of providing masking tape at joints and formwork required if any at spalled joints edges (ii) The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of making good to disturbed joint filling around the area where material is applied (iii) The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of Dg set used by contractor for any requirement of electricity while working. (iv) Removal of debris from the site as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes. Thereafter fillet with closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of minimum 8 mm dia for complete length of the joint, over it to be filled with polyurethane joint sealant (10 to 12 mm depth) meeting the requirements mentioned in BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of+/- 30%. M&L for pouring of flex o patch or equivalent elastomeric compound on dispersal/taxi track etc all as per the following specification and as directd by Engr-in-Charge:- (a) Cutting/Chipping of existing cracked concrete/ surface not less than 100mm wide and 40mm deep with concrete cutter in proper alignment, removing all loose concrete/dust etc by air blower and carefully cleaning the surface to receive new material. (b) Appliying primer to old surfaces using pump sprayer or brush covering all the area as directed.make of primer RDL 942 or equivalent. The primer shall be allowed to dry before pouring the elastomeric compound. (c) Pouring of elastomeric compound mixed with all ingradient and pouring the mix in the affected area trowelled to acheive grooved or textured finish including all necessary formwork all as directed and specified. M & L for repair to broken spelled edges of joints , pot holes etc with epoxy mortar of existing concrete slab by forming square/ rectangular groves with mechanical cutter wider towards top bottom top form key with existing cvoncrete and claeaning / dusting to groves by using compressed airtr to remove all dirts/ dust by air blower and repair with applying two coats of epoxy primer before applying the epoxy mortar complete all as specified and as directed.
