Elastomeric compound on runway/dispersal/taxi track etc all as per the following specification and complete all as specified and as directed:- (a) Cutting/Chipping of existing cracked concrete/bituminous surface not less than 100mm wide and 40mm deep with concrete cutter in proper alignment, removing all loose concrete/dust etc by air blower and carefully cleaning the surface to receive new material. (b) Applying primer to old surfaces using pump sprayer or brush covering all the area as directed. The primer shall be allowed to dry before pouring the elastomeric compound. (c) Pouring of elstomeric compound mixed with all ingradients and pouring the mix in the affected area trowelled to acheive grooved or textured finish including all necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) The rate shall be inclusive of providing masking tape at joints and formwork required if any at spalled joints edges. (ii) The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of making good to disturbed joint filling around the area where material is applied.
Cutting for existing loose patches/spalled edges/widening of existing cracks of concrete pavement in geometrical shapes to average depth of 20 to 25mm using diamond cutters operated with generator sets, cleaning the surface with air compressors complete all as specified and directed.
Applying epoxy mortar with following specification upto depth of 20 to 25mm & including primer @ 0.45kg/sqm complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Araldite 250-100 part by weight (Resine). (ii) Araldite 140 -50 part by weight (Hardner). (iii) Quartz Sand 10 No - 500 Part. Note: (i) The rate shall be inclusive of providing masking tape at joints and formwork required if any at spalled joints edges. (ii) The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of making good to disturbed joint filling around the area where material is applied.
Demolition of plain cement concrete (unreinforced) as in ground floors and pavings any thickness (below or above ground level) and removal the same outsides MOD land complete all as specified and directed.
Pavement quality concrete (PQC) of any thickness of flexural strength 45 Kg/sqcm (lower control limit) in field as per design mix, using minimum 400 Kg/cum and not exceeding 450 Kg/cum of cement including triangular/non circular synthetic fibre reinforcement @ 0.25% by weight of cement including steel form work for butt nosing, rounding off edges, curing, spread and compacted by using needle, plate and screed vibrators complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Fibre reinforcement shall be paid separately under respective item in this schedule. (ii) The cost of admixture required as per design mix shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the tenderers. (The constant shall be applied based on design mix). (iii) Polyster triangular/non circular synthetic fibres as secondary reinforcement mixed in concrete shall measured and paid for separately under respective item of this schedule. However, mixing shall be deemed to be included in the rates quoted by tenderers. (the constant shall be applied based on design mix). (iv) Construction joints, dummy (contraction joint) and expansion joints in pavement of concrete shall be measured & paid separately under respective items. (v) Deduction shall be made in Pavement quality concrete (PQC) for quantity of expension joints.
Supply only synthetic fibre, non circular, virgin, synthetic, monofilament polyster fibres length 12mm to 16mm, specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable, alkali resistant equivalent diameter 15-40 micron, minimum melting temperature 250 degree celsius and minimum tensile strength 300 Mpa be used upto 0.25% by weight of cement as per manufactures specification complete all as specified and directed
Forming 25mm thick expansion joint, filled with and including DURA Board HD-100 (Brand supreme or equivalent as approved) applying bond breaker tape on top of board for complete depth of joint i.e. thickness of concrete slab, provision of closed called polyurethane backup rod 30mm dia, filled with polyurethane sealant (minimun depth of sealant above backup rod shall be 15mm), complying with BS-5212, BS-4254 and EN 41875-2003 priming the sides minimum MAF of 30% with ten years performance guarantee and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give neat finish to the sealant all as shown on drawing and removing the masking tape after sealant is appylied for thickness of concrete slab exceeding 200mm but not exceeding 350mm thickness complete all as specified and directed.
Forming contraction dummy joint 100mm deep and 8mm wide (using diamond cutter) and filled with polyurethane sealant (minimum depth of sealant 12mm) complying with BS : 5212 and fixing 10mm dia polyurethane rod and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant in position as required complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and directed.
Forming construction joints 25mm deep and 8mm wide (using diamond cutter), providing polyurethane backup rod 12mm dia and sealant with polyurethane sealant (minimum depth of sealant 12mm) complying with BS : 5212, BS 4254 and EN 41875-2003 priming the sides minimum MAF+30% with ten year performance guaranteee and and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant as shown on drawing and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied complete all as specified and directed.
Finishing surface of concrete roads, pavements by brooming while concrete is green complete all as specified and directed.
Sand filling 10mm thick under floor including watering, levelling, and consolidation complete all as specified and as directed.
High density polythene film (transparent colour) in single layer of 400 micron thickness of virgin quality (as per ASTM D 2103, IS-2508) laid with side and end overlaping not less than 300mm complete all as specified and directed
Surface excavation not exceeding 30cm deep and averaging 10cm deep and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.
Removal of excavated soil/ material to a distance exceeding 250 metre but not exceeding 500 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.
Labour only (except material) for road side berms of 100mm spead thickness with available approved soil/moorum obtained from within MOD land as directed, spead, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Approved soil/moorum shall be obtained from within MOD land as directed. (ii) No lead charges or changes of whatsoever nature shall be paid on this account.
