Maintenance of Roads, Drains, Bridges, Culverts, Tollgate outside Custom Bond area for a period of Two Years at V.O.Chidambaranar Port Authority (Unit Rate Basis)

Excavation for roadway in soil using hydraulic excavator of 0.90 Cum. bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tipper, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirement of lines, grades and cross section and transporting to the embankment location within all lifts and lead upto 1000 meters etc., complete as per clause 301 of MORT&H Specification (Fifth Revision) and as directed by the departmental officers.

Construction of sub-grade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts & leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table No. 300-2 etc., complete as per clause 305 of MORT&H Specification (Fifth Revision) and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and laying of Granular Sub-base (GSB) - [Plant Mix Method] by mechanically and compacting in layers in each layer 125mm using stone aggregate by providing close Grading - I materials 53mm to 9.50mm at 50%, 9.5mm to 2.36mm at 20% and 2.36mm and below at 30% mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC and loading tippers conveying of mixed material to work site dumping and spreading in uniform layers with dozers and motor grade on prepared sub grade surface in stage to proper grade and camber and compacting with vibrator power roller 8-10 Tonne to achieve the desired density complete as per clause 401 of MORT&H Specification (Fifth Revision) and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing, laying, spreading Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) by mechanically and compacting to compacted thickness 250mm using stone aggregates as per Table 400-11 including spreading in uniform thickness of two layers of each 125mm tk., hand packing, rolling with vibrator power roller 8-10 tonne in stage to proper grade and camber including spreading in uniform thickness, watering and compacting to the required density as per MORT&H specification (Fifth Revision) clause 406 and as directed by the departmental officers.

Scarifying existing bituminous surface to a depth of 50 mm by mechanical means and disposal of scarified material within all lifts and lead upto 1000 meters. Cost inclusive of labour, tools, transportation, conveyance, driver bata etc., complete as per clause 305 of MORT&H Specification (Fifth Revision) and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 Kg. / Sqm. using mechanical means as per Clause 502 of MORT&H Specification (Fifth Revision) including cost of bitumen emulsion, labour, T&P etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 Kg. per Sqm. on the prepared bituminous / granular surface cleaned with mechanical brooms including cost of bitumen emulsion ,labour, T&P etc., complete as per clause 502 of MORT & H Specification and as directed by the deparmental officers.

Providing and laying Dense bituminous macadam with 100-120 TPH batch type Hot Mix Plant producing an average output of 75 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.0 to 4.5 percent by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORT&H specification (Fifth Revision) Clause No.505 complete in all respects including cost of bitumen, labour, materials, T&P etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and laying Bituminous Concrete (BC) with 100-120 TPH Batch type Hot Mix Plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregate of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4 to 5.6 % of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORT&H specification (Fifth Revision) clause No. 507 complete in all respects including cost of bitumen, labour, materials, T&P etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers

Providing and laying of Hot applied Thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms. per Sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC :35 for centre line and edge line. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes etc., The rate including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour, incidental charges, marking for applying paint,brushes, equipments etc., complete as per MORTH Specification No.803 and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and Erecting of Retro - Reflectorised Hazard Marker traffic signs - 30 cm x 90 cm Rectangular made out of High Intensity Prismatic Grade Sheeting conforming to 'Type - IV' standards of IRC 67 : 2012 and ASTM D 4956-09, specification and fixed over 2mm thick Aluminium sheet fixed over a back supporting frame of 25mm x 25mm x 3mm Mild steel angle and supported on a mild steel angle post 75mm x 75mm x 6mm and 0.60m below ground level. The sign post should be painted as per IRC 67 - 2012 and firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45cm x 45cm x 60cm size including cost and conveyance of all materials, equipment, machinery and labour with all leads and lifts, loading charges necessary for satisfactory completion of the work as directed by the engineer-in-charge. High intensity Retro - Reflectro sheet shall consist of minimum co-efficient of Retro-reflection as per Table 6.6 of IRC 67 : 2012. The Retro-reflective sheeting shall be covered under 7 year warranty issued for field performance and a certified copy of three years outdoor exposure report shall be obtained as per IRC 67 : 2012 (As per MORT&H Specification (Fifth Revision) Clause No.801).

Supplying and installing of Delineators (road way indicators, hazard markers and object markers), 80-100 cm high above gound level painted at alternatively black and white in 15cm wide strips, fitted with 80x100 mm rectangular or 75mm dia. circular reflectorised panels at the top, buried or pressed into the ground and conforming to IRC-79 etc., complete as per MORTH Specification No.806 and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing Form work including centring, shuttering for foundation footings of columns, mass concrete so as to give a rough finish shuttering and propping etc., complete complying with AISS and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and laying Plain Cement Concrete 1:1.5:3 (One part of cement, One and a half parts of M. Sand (Crushed Stone Sand) & Three Parts of graded stone aggregate (i.e.) 2 parts of 20mm nominal size graded metal & 1 part of 10mm nominal size graded metal) for RCC works using 20 mm nominal size graded metal including mixing, laying, levelling, consolidation, finishing and curing etc., complete complying with AISS and as directed by the departmental officers.

Plastering the Brick work 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:3 (One cement, three sand) for all faces of walls (even and uneven) in all floors upto full height of the building including necessary scaffolding, racking of masonry joints, cleaning, curing etc., complete complying with AISS and as directed by the departmental officers.

Painting the Floor surfaces with Two Coats of Synthetic Enamel Paint of approved quality excluding priming coat) on previously painted concrete / masonry / plastered surfaces with ready mixed paint brushing for use on floors to give an even shade including cleaning the surface of dirt, dust and other foreign matter and sand papering as required including cost of Synthetic Enamel Paint and labour charges etc., complete complying with AISS and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and laying Pitching on slopes laid over prepared filter media including boulder apron laid dry in front of toe of embankment complete as per drawing and Technical specifications including supply of stone, preparation of surface to required gradient / slope, conveyance, laying, packing, labour charges, Tools & Plants, etc., complete as per Clause 2504 of MORT&H Specifications (Fifth Revision) and as directed by the departmental officers.

Flush pointing on Random Rubble Masonry with Cement Mortar 1:3 (Plastering Sand (PSand)) (One cement, three Plastering Sand (P-Sand)) including cost of all materials, labour, curing etc., complete complying with AISS and as directed by the departmental officers.

Dismantling and removal of Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) above G.L. upto floor two level including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within a lead of 100 m including all labour, tools, equipments, transport, fuel, etc., complete complying with AISS and as directed by the departmental officers.

Epoxy Jointing Compound: Clean the concrete surface, remove the loose particle, if any. Make sure that the form work is ready for positioning. Mix the base and hardener of the epoxy resin jointing compound and apply the same to the prepared surface. Care should be taken that the micro concrete needs to be done within 5 hours maximum from the time of application of epoxy jointing compound Nitobond EP of Fosroc or equivalent. The rate shall include cost of equipments, plants, materials, sand, instrumentation, hiring of boat, catamaran, pontoon, labour and survey, fuel etc. complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying the structural steel, MS Flats, Square Rods, Angles, Channels etc., for vertical members / bracing /stiffeners / Base plates or for any other usage as a structural member, fabricating, welding and erecting the frame work in position at the locations shown in the drawing including all labour, materials, conveyance, tools & plants, etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers (Note : 1. While fabricating, necessary holes and bolt & nut shall be provided at no extra cost in the structural members. 2. In case, the specified MS section is not available in the market, the nearest alternative section may be used after approval of the Engineer).

Fabricating and placing in position of M.S / Tor steel grills for R.C.C works in all floors including cost of Steel, cutting, bending, binding with 16 Gauge GI Binding wire and placing in position etc., complete complying with AISS and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and laying in position of RCC Grade M40 using batching plant transit mixer & manual placing in accordance with IS:456-1000, using 20mm and down graded aggregates for all RCC items of works with minimum cement content and maximum water cement ratio including admixture (plasticizer / super plasticizer) in recommended proportions to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per Mix Design, excluding cost of reinforcement grill, fabricating charges, centering and shuttering and including laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrators, finishing, curing, etc, complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. The coarse and fine aggregates to be used should comply with the requirements of IS Standards. (No separate payment will be made by the Department for the excess usage of materials).

Providing & applying surface hardening compound Fosroc-Nitoflor Hartop to the concrete surface for smooth finish etc ., complete and as directed by the departmental officers

Brick work in Cement Mortar 1:3 (One cement, three sand) using chamber burnt bricks for walls in foundation and plinth level of the building including cost of all materials, labour, curing etc., complete complying with AISS and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and Fixing of Stainless Steel Hand rails for staircase near wet riser / Wherever required using 50mm dia 304L Grade Stainless Steel pipe of 1.60mm thick will be provided with tubular supports made of 304L Grade Stainless Steel pipe of 25mm dia of 1.60mm thick welded to the railing. The supports will be grouted into the wall and provided with 93.00mm thick Stainless Steel circular base plate of 304 Grade. The rate shall included for grouting into concrete with necessary supporting arrangements the hand rail in floor polishing buffing, bonding, cutting, grinding, conveyance, welding charges, electrical charges, etc. complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and fixing granite slabs (jet black) of 20mm thick (super fine polished with nosing edges) on the steps area of building, in between urinals and wherever required in Cement Mortar 1:3 (M. Sand (Crushed Stone Sand)). The rate inclusive of cost of granite slab, chemical component, white cement, labour charges & conveyance etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing, Supplying and Laying factory made Chamfered edge Cement Concrete 60mm thick Paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern of required strength, thickness & size / shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & patten over 50mm thick compacted bed of sand, compacting and proper embedding / laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver block to the required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand etc., including all materials, labour, tools & plants, conveyance etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and laying Plain Cement Concrete 1:3:6 (One part of cement, 3 parts of M. Sand (Crushed Stone Sand) & 6 Parts of 40 mm nominal size metal ) for foundation using 40 mm nominal size graded metal including mixing, laying, levelling, consolidation, finishing and curing etc., complete complying with AISS and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineerin- charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.

Providing and fixing the Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP) of 3.25mm thickness for Orn

amental Elevation with ‘3M’ brand two way tape and 1.2mm thick Aluminium channels /box section of size 50 x 20mm with weight not less than 2 kg. / 12 ft. to fix the ACP, fixed rigidly with the existing wall using suitable fasteners and neatly finishing the joints with DOW corning all weather sealant grade -789 including finishing the sharp edges etc., complete as per the approved design etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying & fixing Retro-reflective sticker for letters on Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP) board at all level elevation and heights. The cost exclusive of scaffolding charges & Inclusive of materials, labour charges & conveyance etc., Complete and as directed by the Engineer in-Charge.

Painting the steel surfaces with One coat of Synthetic enamal paint of approved quality (excluding priming coat) on new steel and other metal surfaces with enamel paint, brushing, interior to give an even shade including cleaning the surface of all dirt, dust and other foreign matter including all materials, labour, brushes, etc., complete complying with AISS and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and fixing Reflective Road Studs of 'Category - A' Raised pavement markers made out of poly carbonate / methyl methecrylate/ABS mouled body confirming to ASTM D 788 and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromaticity values conforming to ASTM D 4280. The reflective raised pavement markers shall also confirm to the MORTH corcular No RW / NH 33023 / 10 / 97 - DO.III, dt 11.06.97.
