M&L for cleanning the surfaces with water and wire brush to remove dirt, dust, and other bio organism and repair the broken area with cement sand mortar and open major cracks with cement + thermacool WP 51 to make putty to fill the cracks.Once the surface is dry apply a liberal absorption coat of thremacool WP 51 as follows, 1 Ltr thermacool WP 51 + 2 Ltr water mix well and apply by brush liberally . After the absorption coat dries apply first coat one Ltr Thermacool WP 51 + 250 ml of cement + 250 ml of water and floor joinery . Then apply on the entire area while recoating the joinery. Once the water proofing layer is dry, apply first coat of Thermacool 0.3 c followed by second coat of 0.3c upon drying on projected cupboard area.

M&L for special treatment for sunken portion of WCs/ Bath & toilet executed in following stages:- Stage 1 :- Demolition of WC including lime concrete and cement concrete coba etc and preparing the surfaces of existing sunken portion of WCs or bath etc with wire brush to remove all loose dirt, oil grease etc including removing debris outside MD land etc Complete. Stage 2:- Providing 10mm thick plaster in CM 1:3 mixed with integral water proofing chemical of approved make in the proportion/quantity all as per Manufacture's instructions. Stage 3:- Apply primer of approved make (and allow to dry for 8 hours) all as per Manufacture's instructions. Stage 4:- Apply two coats of water proofing elastomeric coating system of approved make (The surface after painting one coats shall be allowed to dry of 6 hours before next coats) all as per Manufacturer's instructions. Stage 5:- Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 mixed with Integral water proofing chemical of approved make all as per Manufacture's instructions. Stage 6. All CI joints shall filled with mixture of cement fine sand and plaster seal of approved make all as per Manufacture's instruction. Stage 7:- Making holes in wall and fixing 600mm long 40mm dia medium grade GI spout for draining the surplus water if any Stage 8:- Carry out ponding test for 48 hours to ensure water tightness of repaired sunken portion.water tightness of repaired sunken portion and filling of sunken portion for cement concrete Type E2 1:5:10 using 40 mm graded aggregate as in lean concrete complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Only plan area shall be measured and accorded for payment under this item. (b) Depth of sunken portion of WC's/Baths shall be upto 35cm, which is to be taken into account while quoting the rate against this item. (c) Rate quoted by Contractor shall be deemed to be included for all the horizontal and verticale treated surfaces of sunken portions of WC & Bath.

M&L for roughening old surface of concrete floor by picking , sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles and rubbish off the premises etc out side MD land complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in kitchen platform and similar work laid, bedded and pointed in cement mortar and removal of rubbish/ demolished materials out of MD land complete all as specified and directed

Demolition of brick work or stone boulder masonry,built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles and removal of rubbish/ demolished materials out of MD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Virified Ceramic tiles 10 mm thick (square/ rectangular)polished, area of each tile exceeding 0.36 sqm but not exceeding 0.42 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match including 15mm thick CM 1:6 for laying floor finishes complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on any description on walls including raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc ( for receiving skirting tiles) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Non-skid ceramic tiles (Coloured) 7 to 8mm thick rectangular area of each tiles exc 0.06 sqm n exc 0.11 sqm in floors etc,.set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 laying floor finished complete all as specified and directed Notes: while fixing tiles, joint width between two tiles shall be maintained using tile spacers and filling the tile joints with three component epoxy resin based tile joint filler.

S&F for machine cut and machine polished, green marble, 18-20mm thick on horizontal or vertical surface,as in cooking platform, window cills and jambs bedded, jointed and pointed with neat grey cement slurry and pointed with coloured or white cement with pigment to match over and including backing coat of 10 mm thick in CM 1:4 all as specified and directed.

M&L for Brickwork with subclass ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in cement mortor 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for carry out application of ‘Bi-polar migratory corrosion inhibitor' of approved make on RCC surfaces, complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Mode of measurement: superficial area of concrete will be measured.)

M&L for Anticorrosive Treatment to Reinforcement using primer of approved make by application on exposed reinforcement in two coats with time interval of minimum 4 hours between each coat. The application shall be done by brush after cleaning/wire brushing to the exposed steel surfaces complete all as specified and directed . M&L for Epoxy bond coat of approved make over exposed concrete surfaces prior to application of any type of mortar / concrete to ensure bond between old concrete & new concrete/ new mortar by brush application, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing Polymer Bonding Agent of approved make by the GE followed by flexible polymer based putty ( 1cement: 1.2 finesand :20% polymer by weight of cement : water as required ) on cracks after cutting the cracks to a 'V' shaped groove upto 10 mm wide and 10 mm deep in structural RCC members , finished with spatula etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for building up the profile of structural members using polymer modified mortar of approved make, while the bonding agent is still tacking upto 20mm thickness, including levelling, profiling etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for building up the profile of structural members using polymer modified mortar of approved make exceeding 20mm thick and not exceeding 40mm thick in two layers, each of equal thickness including levelling, profilling etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Jacketing the existing column by removing the concrete cover to reinforcement , by chipping or other suitable means to expose the reinforcement of existing column inorder to make available the same for binding the extra reinforcemwnt as shown in the drawing and also removal of rust, scales of the reinforcement in order to provide and apply approved make of epoxy resin to get proper bond with newly laid M25 concrete . The aforesaid concrete shall be laid by the sides of existing column with uniform thickness of 115mm or as specified, for jaceting purposesthereby increasing the sectional dimension by 150mm or as specified (excluding finishing at any height with requisite shuttering , centering, scaffolding, proping , repairing the existing surface as sprcified and also removal of debris, curing etc complete all as specified and directed. design .(Note: Reinforcement shall be paid under respective items of schedule)

M&L for Hardcore of gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Plain cement concrete type D2 1:4:8 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate ) in foundations, filling and mass concrete specified and directed.

M & L for FILLING AND REINSTATING OF SEPERATION CRACKS:- Opening the seperation cracks at the junction of RCC and masonry whereever directed and instruted into V grroves 2" to 3" from either side of the cracks by carefully making the areas to be opened up using a cutting machine and skilfully/ carefully chiselling with a well sharpened chisel and hammer as directed including wire brushing and washing of concrete substrata and masonry walls with water jet to the surfaces thus prepared to the entire satisfaction Engineer in charge.

M & L for Moistening the cracks , providing and applying priming/bonding coat of slurry made out of " Polvalk EP" and cement ( or equivalent as specified in the list of brand names) in proportion 1:1 to surfaces prepared as instructed and directed.Filling the cracks /grooves by providing and applying "Polvalk EP" polymer modified cement mortar (or equivalent as specified in the list of brand names ) in proportion of 1:5:15( Polyalk EP:Cement:Graded sand/quartz sand) on the prepared surfaces and finishing it in level with the existing plaster including hand packing, curing and making the surface similar to external plastering using wooden floats/ punch etc complete all as specified and directed.

M& L for Drilling holes of required size upto 16mm diameter and 50mm depth in concrete and cleaning the same as directed

M& L for Providing and fixing 12mm diameter aluminium/ PVC injection nipples and securing the same as directed & providing and injecting cementitious grout using CEBEX 112 additive of Fosroc at the rate of 225 grams per bag of cement and using suitable mechanical gun/ pump including mixing etc complete all as specified and directed.
