M & L for Periodic cutting of Grass with the help of Hand held Grass cutting Machine of reputed Make for Cutting and Sweeping Grass after cutting of Grass, bushes, small plants of any type along the sides of Dispersal Area, Taxi Track, Runway, Shoulders and Airfield areas throughout the contract period, including supply of Fuel, lubricants, spares, renewal of blades as required including maintenance and repairs to Machine and trade insurance and license fees including removing of debris to a distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m from the site complete all as directed. Note for Serial Item No. 01: The rate quoted shall be deemed to be considering following provisions and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. [a] Area of Grass cutting shall be as decided by the Engineer-in-Charge and representative of users as and when required basis. [b] Periodicity of grass cutting, will be as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge in consultation with users. For this purpose, the tenderer shall maintain a register indicating the details of location, date, area, signature of Engineer-in-Charge, user's representative and Contractor. [c] The grass shall be cut so that the protruding grass shall not be more than 15mm above ground level and disposal as directed. [d] The work is required to be executed in highly restricted area along Main Runway. Therefore, the work shall be executed during non-flying hours either during Day or Night without causing any disturbance for flying. Proper safety arrangement, equipment shall be provided by the contractor for workmen. [e] On any of the days if the grass cutting team of labours does not attend the site complaint on the same day. Failing which a penalty of Rs. 2000 per 08 hours shall be levied and the decision of GE in this regard will be final and binding. (f) The work will be exected on either sides of Runway strip up to 80 mtr of Runway Centre line.

Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates, grill, grating but excluding framed truss etc. complete all specified and directed.

Demolition of precast cement concrete block walling built in cement mortar complete all specified and directed.

Demolition of Cement Concrete (un-reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of Cement Concrete (reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for providing precast cement concrete Type B1 1:2:4 using 20mm graded aggregate as in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces using required form work for fair finished surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for Mild steel bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Mild steel bars 5mm dia and over upto and including 10mm dia as in stirrups, spacers and binders, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Plain Cement Concrete 1:4:8, Type D2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Plain Cement Concrete 1:3:6, Type C2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in surface channels and drains all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Plain Cement Concrete 1:2:4 Type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in copings,lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands,plinth courses, tring courses,lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, kneelers, pex stones,bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge as directed

Material and labour for precast cement concrete block masonry with solid block, exc 10cm in width, in plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate set in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for rendering 10 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in CM 1:6 and 5mm on top in CM 1:4 finished even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge .

M & L for preparation of old painted surfaces, over 10cm girth, applying one coats of 100% acrylic, weather resistant emlusion complete all as specified and as per manufacturer's instruction. Make : Asian Paint or Berger Paints or equivalent

Demolition of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons,dados etc laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar and removal of rubbish off the site complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for precast Chequered cement concrete tiles with mixture of white and grey cement in equal proportion of size 30cmx30cmx25 mm thick or similar, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors in stone finishes or as specifed and directed.

M & L for precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B 1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggrgate ) kerb of roughly squared stones of min thickness15cm and depth 30cm or similar, dressed so that the maximum depression from a straight edge held against the dressed surface shall not exceed 6mm for top and exposed surfaces of sides and 20mm for the rest of surfaces jointed in cement mortar 1:4 and struck flush complete all as specified and directed.

S & F framed work such as grills, grating, etc, with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk way; railing; framework of watertank and similar work conforming to Fe.290 Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for rolled mild steel Sections of Grade Fe 410-W, (Gde- E-250) quality-A, as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters; purlins where connected to common rafters and running rails and guides for sliding doors; fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates including bending, welding etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Steel work in tubular shape including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to IS 1161-1979 grade St.-240 including drilling holes on concrete walls, fixing with necessary fitting like angle cleats and connecting plates etc. with welding and filling the holes complete all as speecified and directed.

S&F Mild steel plates, plain or chequered, 4mm thick or over in thickness in available sizes Fe 410-W (Gde-E250) quality-A fixed & welded with steel frame with hinge mechanism all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair 1 Ton Capacity Chain Pulley Block Lift 3 Mtr industrial-grade for lifting heavy-duty jobs quickly and accurately such as MS framed work grills, gratings, gates etc. having loading Chain diameter of 6 mm Galvanised Mild steel black with lifting height of 3 Mtrs minimum (Total Weight of Chain Pulley block should be more than 10 Kgs ) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) The material should be of high tensile strength galvanized steel with long operating life and durable. (ii) The welding or fixing work to be done is included no extra charge will be paid. (iii) The Mild Steel work if required, will be paid in the respective items.

S&F in repair Pre- painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as specified completed all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of old steel and iron surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth not otherwise described and applying one coats of synthetic enamal paint all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamal paint over one coat of Red oxide zinc primer all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old or new steel surfaces exc 10cm width of girth and applying two coats of epoxy paint over a coat of epoxy primer complete in white / black / grey color all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make : Asian Paints PPG or equivalent in Berger or Shalimar

M & L for preparation of existing bituminous / concrete surfaces of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign material etc. and painting Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc. on Road, Pavements and the like exceeding 10 cm width or girth with one coat of water based Acrylic Runway marking paint of color white or Golden yellow yellow or black or red color over existing paint in straight lines at runway surface / dispersal /taxi tracks complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Cleaning of runway cross drains or drains adjacent to runway & dispersal (closed/open) of any cross section of width n exc 4m at top by removing vegetation, debris, waste materials and mud deposits etc. manually or mechanically with JCB / Hitachi and removal of sludge/debris/ waste matarials manually as required all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Rates are deemed to include for the followings. (a) Cleaning of drains as and when called for including during rain / night time as per site requirement. (b) Removal of drain cover for cleaning purpose and placing back after cleaning of drain (c) Removing the waste material/debries to distance exceeding 50m and not exceeding 100m and deposting inside MoD all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (d) All T&P required shall be arranged by the contractor as required at site/directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (e) Contractor shall make cleaning such as to confirm the free flow of rain water etc. (f) The frequecny of cleaing of drain will be decided by the user in consultation with Engineer-in-Charge.
