Dewatering of existing water tank, cleaning the inside surfaces of the tank 50000 to 100000.00 gallon capacity by scraping down walls and bottom surface using steel wire brushes to remove all deposition/fungus and other microorganisms etc using light hammer and wire brushes and taking out , removing loose dirt, mud sludge, vegetation and other foreign material completely from the tank and disposing off all the waste/spoil material out of MOD land at a place as specified by Engineer-in-charge and washing repeatedly inside surface of tank with water and washing with rebukes solution and clean water thoroughly all as specified and directed.

Taking down decrepit existing cement plaster loose/unsound debilitate cement concrete of any description and in any position from existing external/internal surface of RCC slabs/beam/columns/RCC fascia etc average profundity up to 50mm (max height upto 25m from existing ground level) with power driven of pneumatic chisel and disposal of unserviceable material i.e. debris and rubbish outside MOD land as directed upto 1.5km of lead including cutting of all edges making square shoulders of the cavities roughening the smooth surfaces, abrade out/expel corrosion all loose/scale/rust etc from the observed reinforcement by applying alkaline based rust remover MAXCURE RR of make Thermax or equivalent in make Fosroc/Sika and cleaning the steel reinforcement properly and after that applying Protezione Ferro Mono of make Thermax or equivalent in make Fosroc/Sika single component cementitious corrosion primer in two layers on observed reinforcement surface to create a continuous film not less than 1mm thick and preparing the surface to get epoxy grout mortar including providing necessary proportion bracing and runners to relieve the member from the load coming on it with working platform as required and as per design and pattern including preparing the surface to coordinate with the existing surface, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in-Charge.

M&L for mending to crack after opening up in "V" groove manner covering the area of the 10cm from center line of crake with the depth of 10mm to 30mm on existing deteriorate surface of RCC roof slab, beams, columns, chajjas and similar work any position of existing surface up to top of tank from normal ground level and filling cracks with thixotropic, solvent free three component compound based epoxy resin with expanding powered or dual shrinkage compensating non shrink free flow plasticized grout MAXTREAT EPG of make Thermax or equivalent in make Sika/Fosroc for structural strengthening complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and fixing welded MS wire mesh weight not less than @ 1 Kg/Sqm and applying anti-corrosion primer single component, cementitious inhibiting primer in two layers on observed surface to create thickness not less than 1mm using Protezione Ferro Mono of make Thermax or equivalent in make Fosroc/Sika and applying 25mm thick one component, thixotropic fiber reinforced polymer modified dual shrinkage compensated, cementitious patch repair mortar BS 5F of make Thermax or equivalent in make Fosroc/Sika in W/P ratio 0.16 mixed with liquid water proofing admixture WAREP 1000/L of make Thermax or equivalent in make Fosroc/Sika confirming to IS: 2645 -2003 make Fosroc/sika to be applied on the surface before plastering and as per recommendation of manufacturer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and fixing welded MS wire mesh weight not less than @ 1 Kg/Sqm and applying anti-corrosion primer single component, cementitious inhibiting primer in two layers on observed surface to create thickness not less than 1mm using Protezione Ferro Mono of make Thermax or equivalent in make Fosroc/Sika and applying acrylic emulsion based concrete bonding agent and cement modifier primer TM BOND AR of make Thermax or equivalent in make Sika/Fosroc and applying Rheoplastic non shrink corrosion resistant, high strength cementitious micro concrete, average thickness 50mm on ceiling/beams/column etc BS-66 MuCis (Rheoplastic micro concrete) of make Thermax or equivalent in make Fosroc/Sika using suitable arrangement as required using pumping device for uniform flow of micro concrete. The side shuttering can be removed after 3days and bottom shuttering after 7 days, ensuring proper bond between the micro concrete and the existing concrete substrate in complete including all tools, plants, shuttering and tackles as directed by GE. Note : Necessary formwrok/shuttering of steel shall be used and rate charges for the same is deemed to be included in quoted rate and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

M&L for drilling hole in RCC using drilling machine upto a profundity of 15mm and 18mm dia, expel dust, etc by vacuum cleaner and blowers, providing and fixing of heavy grade GI pipe nipple 15mm dia, 50mm long @ 1.0mtr c/c in both direction and injection cement slurry blended with using integral water proofing liquid admixture WAREP 1000/L of make Thermax or equivalent in make Fosroc/Sika, applying acrylic emulsion based concrete bonding agent and cement modifier and applying expanding powder grout and plasticizing expending grout admixture chemical cementitious based plasticized grout admixture cement MAX GROUT 100 of make Thermax Ltd or equivalent in make Fosroc/Sika by through nipple and closing ends of nipple by epoxy putty/silica jelly after injecting the chemicals mixed with cement slurry complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying two coats of water proofing and protective coating on internal/external walls, floors and ceiling of tanks etc with ELASPLAST ROL 10 of make Thermax or equivalent in make Fosroc/Sika and providing 10mm thick polymer modified rendering in CM 1:4 mixed with liquid based water proofing liquid admixture confirming to IS2645-2003 and surface shall be finished even and smooth without using extra cement including all necessary formwork timbering planking and shuttering etc and finishing the surface to match with existing surface complete all on specified and directed.

M&L for drilling hole for anchoring of reinforcement on existing column/beam/chajja/wall and providing 12mm dia TMT bar and applying polyester resin based anchoring material (Chemical Hilti HIT-HY 70 BS-5080 or equivalent make Thermax/Chemco system/Webac chemicals/STP, maximum hole depth 100 mm for H/V/large annular applications or post installed bars or in accordance with bar thickness complete all as specified and directed . Note: TMT bar 12mm dia shall be measured and paid under respective item of Sch'A'/BOQ.

M&L for providing TMT bar 10mm dia and over, cut to length bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping of column, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm or securing with wire clips complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for curing of the surface using viscosity alkali reactive wax based concrete curing compound MAXCURE CC 75 of make Thermax or equivalent in make Fosroc/Sika including all neccessary tools including adoption of necessary safety arrangements like safety belts, ropes, helmets, netting etc which are required for safety of working at height exceeding 3 m to 25 m height shall be mandatory and deemed to be inclusive in quoted rates complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment by mechanical means and washing down with clean water and applying two coats of exterior emulsion paint (weather coat) over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of wrought iron or mild steel work of any description, any position not otherwise described for complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for fixing MS framed work such as framed guard bars barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters, walkways, railing and similar work confining to Fe- 290,Gde E-165 for overhead tank any position made of MS angle/MS pipe with nuts and bolts or butt welded, etc complete all on specified and directed.

MM&L for applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on new prepared surface of mild steel complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint over old mild steel surface including preparation of old surface complete all as specified.

Note for Srl item No 1.00 to 8.00 & 10.00: (i) The work shall be undertaken by authorized rep of Thermax/Fosroc/Sika. (ii) MoU is required to be signed between Authorized applicator and successful bidder before commencement of work and the same shall be submitted to Engineer- in-Charge before commencement of work. (iii) Guarantee for structural repair as well as seepage/leakage of tank for period of 10 years from the certified date of completion of work shall be submitted by the contractor and an amount of 1% of total work done amount of CA shall be deposited after completion of work for period of ten years. (iv) The material incorporated in the work shall be procured directly from manufacturer or authorized dealer as mentioned in the respective item of BOQ. (v) Prior approval of makes is required to be obtained from GE and before bulk procurement sample approval shall be obtained from GE before incorporation in works. (vi) All necessary T&P like any type scaffolding, steel sheet lining or steel plate stiffened with steel angle and cradles including hoisting and lowering as required, belts, ropes, helmets, netting etc including all kind of fixing arrangements suitable for overhead tank of any shape or type for 50000 gallons to 100000 gallons capacity fixed all around OHT and below bottom dome to carry out necessary repair work shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. Nothing extra shall be paid to the contractor by the Department on this account.
