(Capacity of Engine, alternators shall be worked out taking all derating factors into consideration) including PCC foundation( of suitable size leaving at least 0.5 M all around for ease of movement and 0.5 M height), anti-vibration pads, including all features to comply with latest CPCB guidelines and Comprising of followings:- (i) ENGINE(Prime Mover): Diesel Engine 1500 RPM , direct injection ,Suitable No of cylinders ,four stroke, confirming to ISO3046/BS 5514, water cooled, naturally turbo charged, capable of giving adequate BHP to drive Alternator capable of delivering 40 KVA at outdoor atmospheric conditions at Jorhat. ,(Taking all derating factor into consideration), , 12/24 Volt(as per manufacturer's recommendations) electric battery start, complete with fly wheel all standard fittings/fixtures as per manufacturer's instructions and including suitable panel with techometer, lub oil temperature, pressure gauge and frequency meters and also including self starter system, dynamo, fuel electric control panel with electronic governor (ECPG) and Engine protection system (Shut down, High water temperature, low lub oil, oil pressure, over speed etc) fuel tank and first fill of lub oil and other consumables etc .

(v) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE: Sheet metal fabricated cope type silent enclosure manufactured on CNC machines as per CPCB norms and powder coated after seven tank process, the enclosure shall be designed for reducing the sound level to 75 DB (A) at a distance of 1 M at 75 % load under field condition and ox, 70DB at 3 M from Gen set when DG set is working at full load along with testing conformance, labeling certification etc as laid down in GSR No 371(E) dt 17 May 2002. (vii) External cubicle Diesel storage tank of capacity adequate for storage of diesel for 12 hours operation of Gen Set. (viii) MISC: Tool kit, Operation and Maintenance catalogue, spare part list, overhauling manuals, guarantee card etc shall be provided as per manufacturer standard practices. (ix) Factory Test shall be carried out by testing officer nominated by AO. (x) Pre- commissioning test shall be carried out by testing officer nominated by Accepting Officer.” (xi) The drawings for PCC foundation for DG set as per OEM recommendations shall be submitted to GE for approval.

Item No 11.34 & 11.35 Contd ..... Note :- (i) The contractor shall submit QAP (Quality Assurance Programme) within 15 days after placement of order for VCB for testing of equipments at factory. VCB shall be despatch only after inspection at manufacturer premises shall be done by OEM Auth and MES auth at manufacture premises. (ii) Contractor shall furnish original Purchase Voucher of the VCB manufacturer. (iii) Contractor shall make all the testing arrangement and arrange all the testing tools @ 2 times (at the timde of commissioning and against at the time of SEI inspection for pre-commissioning test and testing at site before operation of VCB) without any extra cost. All the installations and testing tyo be done in presence of /by OEM representative. (iv) Suitable RCC platform for outdoor installation with height as required at site to mount the VCB as per manufacturer's recommendations. (v) Contractor shall produce general arrangement drawing and technical specifications for approval before placing order. (vi) Factory test shall be carried out by Testing Officer nominated by Accepting Officer. (vii) Pre-commissioning test shall be carried out by SEI/EI/ESO as per policy issued by E-In-C's Branch letter No 36323/Gen/CEI/E4(U) dated 30 May 2023.
