REPAIR/ MAINT OF WATER SUPPLY CI/GI/DI/PVC PIPE LINE, COMPLAINT OF LEAKAGE, GATE VALVES, FITTING AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IN CERTAIN LOCATION OF 54 BDE AREA, ARTY UNITS, ARMD UNITS AND CERTAIN MD ACCOMODATION UNDER AGE EM I OF GE(U) SECUNDERABAD

M&L for attending repair/ rectification of external water supply complaints of GI/ CI/ DI/ PP-R Pipe lines, sluice valves, gate valves of any type and size, Viz any type of leakages, no water supply and other water related complaints including transportation from complaint cell to complaint locations and back to complaint cell along with necessary T&P with provision of necessary excavation, returning and filling in as required at site, tightening of loose joints of union, elbow, sockets etc., cutting/ threading and making joints and cleaning for any blockages, opening of float valve of service tanks, cleaning and fixing the same in its position including replacement of GI unions/ sockets/ nipples etc. as required at site under Zone I C of AGE EM No I areas and the following type of complaints for GI tubing up to 32 mm bore all as specified and directed. Note : - 1. Contractor should visit the site to understand site condition/ distance between the complaint cell to the AOR before coating the rates. No claim in this regard will be entertained during execution stage. 2. The fittings shall be measured and paid separately as supply only items.

All as per item No 1.00 here-in-before but for GI tubing 40 mm bore to 50 mm bore

All as per item No 1 here-in-before but for GI tubing 80 mm bore to 100 mm bore Notes for Sl item No 1 to 1.02:- (a) The contractor will be allotted complaints at MES complaint cell on required basis on all working days including Sundays and holidays and sufficient tradesman / resources will be deployed by him/ her for completion of day to day complaints within 12 hours from the time of reporting. Any delay beyond above mentioned time limit without intimation of genuine cause, penalties will be recovered twice of the quoted rate for each un-attended complaint. (b) A detailed log book of complaints with completion/ non-completion remarks from users/ MES will be maintained by the contractor and the same will be updated on daily basis in consultation with JE E&M/ Engr-in-Charge. (c) The contractor will make suitable arrangement for emergency complaints and will notify authorised representative/ Engr-in-Charge about extraordinary circumstances for probable non-completion or delay in rectification of complaints beyond stated time limit set for disposal of complaint. In case of any dispute the decision of accepting officer will be final and binding in this regard.

Taking up defective cast iron water mains (including all fittings) with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead from ground, cleaning the pipes free from sedimentation/ scaling etc. for reusing the serviceable pipes in repairs for 80mm bore complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

All as per item No. 2.00 but 150mm bore.

Re-laying only cast iron pipes obtained from item No. 2.00 above including laying to level or to falls, in trenches or on the ground or on supports for 80 mm bore sizes complete all as specified and directed:- Note:- Lead joints shall be measured and paid separately.
